"On 09/11/2022 I was dispatched to a trespassing. Once on scene I made contact with Deb, she explained to me that James pointed a black g n at her while she was walking her dog passed lot 8, he was present at the address next to lot 8. Mark also stated that when he was turning the corner in his vehicle, he seen James pointing a black object at Deb. James was just a few feet away on the property next door when I made contact with him, he immediately starts saying Its for pellets for my protection because people come in at night ( I aint point nothing at nobody yet but i will k l them). James then took me to where he was keeping it and handed it over to me iw matched the description that was given to me by the victim and witness. James was yelling out profanity and very angry at the time causing a disturbance in the neighborhood. I could tell from dealing with James in the past that he was intoxicated, I could smell it emitting from his person. I told james that he was under arrest. He asked me if he could take care of his dogs first and I let him feed them before he left. He had the dogs tied ip in a shed on the property of lot 8. James moved his dogs to the property next to lot 8, james then went to say that the had the gn to get rats. I then showed and asked the victim and witness was this the object they saw with him, and they said yes it was. I then made contact with Barbra the property owner ands she explained she wanted him trespassed. I has her sign a permanent trespass for the property and served it at the Franklin County Jail"

My brother won a burned-out trailer in a poker game, and we helped him rehab it to rent out. Some of the people out there were hilarious. I saw a couple of arguments, and there were def drugs around, but for the most part, people were neighborly and helped each other out (and us…you wouldn’t believe the old appliances and construction leftovers that people pulled out of nowhere and offered for free). It was an interesting look into a life I’d never seen close up. Just the fact of how my brother got the thing was wild. He was putting himself through college, saw the potential, and we all became DIYers to make it happen.
Trailer parks are like all neighborhoods sometimes its mellow, and sometimes there's trouble, there's always more good folks than bad folks in them, that's for sure.

Making it harder to get animals only makes it harder for legitimate people, or those that are trying to live correctly after getting out of jail, to adopt. Stricter laws are not the answer.

I was accused of pointing a gun at someone when I was doing Target practice in my yard. It was a pellet gun. Falsely accused wasn't procecuted but still cost me 1500 to retain a lawyer. Becareful when you pull out any type weapon

You've got to be a certain type of cop to handle these kinds of people and in this kind of situation. He's that type. How he kept everything somewhat calm is amazing.

This is the benefits of officers actually “policing”. Knowing the people in the community your serving and being able to develop trust with them can make a world of difference in how they react to police in these situations. It’s simple things like letting that man move, feed and water his dogs that will keep someone calm instead of just denying them shit for no reason other than to be an asshole an exert power and control.
I grew up in a big trailer park and there was plenty of people like this.

Oh, the pleasures of living in Southern trailer park. I once had a neighbor across the street like this, he would get blasted drunk and sniff glue, come outside and scream obscenities, and pull down his pants, there were brawls in the street with this dude, I fought him a few times just me and him, hit him with a weaponized small flashlight and made his forehead bleed, it was insane. More to his story, but, the funny thing was, when he was sober he didn’t act out, doing his usual bantering, like he forgot what he did the night before, kept up the property, quiet as a mouse, etc,etc. We no longer live there, we moved on, but, I’ll never forget this crazy mook, Mark was his name, good riddance!
