- Venice, Los Angeles - September 27, 2024 - A large-scale cleanup operation took place at the Venice Beach restrooms on Friday, spearheaded by a multi-agency task force led by Los Angeles Park Rangers. The effort, supported by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), Department of Public Works, Recreation and Parks, Clean Harbors Environmental Inc., Los Angeles County Beaches and Harbors, the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA), and Councilwoman Traci Park’s office, concentrated on the removal of both hazardous and non-hazardous waste from the area.
This cleanup underscores the city’s ongoing commitment to addressing the homelessness crisis with a compassionate approach. LAHSA was present during the operation, offering critical services such as food, water, and hygiene kits to those in need. Notably, no citations for public camping were issued, reflecting the city's focus on providing support rather than enforcement.
The cleanup, part of the regular Friday operations along the Venice Beach Boardwalk, is aimed at maintaining public safety while addressing the complex issue of homelessness. Workers from various agencies, clad in protective gear, methodically sorted and disposed of waste to ensure a safe and thorough cleanup.
This initiative is a vital component of the City of Los Angeles' broader strategy to address homelessness while improving public health and sanitation. Councilwoman Traci Park’s office continues to play a significant role in balancing humane outreach efforts with the need to maintain public safety.
The absence of citations during this latest cleanup demonstrates the city’s preference for supportive interventions over punitive actions. These weekly cleanups remain a crucial part of the city's ongoing efforts to ensure the cleanliness and safety of public spaces while addressing the root causes of homelessness in the community.

Venice Beach was a nice place at one time.
It's always nice when Daisy is there.
These videos are a testament to the untold labors of taxpayers that pay for this outrage.
Shutup😡
That was a cold, heartless thing to say😭
May God have mercy on your soul.

😡 mean you are
This is like Groundhog Day, over and over again, they leave and keep coming back, not sure how the people of Venice Beach deal with this.
New people come in from all places in the U.S.
These people have been told no camping on the beach, how many times? Do they get fined, or jail time. This getting old.
I ABSOLUTELY agree, enought with this already!
Can someone explain to me if one is "unhoused" why would you have more than you could carry? Is there a method to this madness?
No method just madness
As one who’s watched about all of Fabian’s videos this looks like lately it’s been getting worse not better.
That gray haired guy with the 2 bikes is Tom, who used to always be evicted from the restrooms.
They need a U-Haul with all the stuff they got
More like a 53' semi trailer
Everyday hundreds of out of towners come to California to live the homeless life. Something they are not allowed to do in their home state. LOL
True, California is paradise for the homeless. They give them everything they need. They are allowed to use drugs in public. They are even given needles and meth pipes, all courtesy of the taxpayers.
I'm seeing millions $$
Our money
Can't say at work
As most stand around 😡
a question ok what time dose the beach close down for the night and very simple way to stop them sleeping in the bathrooms witch is nasty very simple lock the doors after hours
Lock them permanently... No one can use them anyhow with people living in each one
Intentionally homeless hard street drug abusers with that much junk?!?!?
‘This week on public bathroom hoarders’….😳
How in heck do they collect so much stuff they can hardly remove it all. They must have figured a long stay in one place. OMG! Ridiculous
Why are they entitled to use the shopping carts they just take. They should be asked about that.
ABSOLUTELY 💯!!!
He's 35 years old with sixteen kids? I'm sure all those children are being well taken care of. I'm sure that they all probably have college funds and not one of them are a drain on the city or state resources. He's just a little down on his luck. That's it. I'm sure he probably had a 200k job before he became homeless. (Through of course no fault of his)
Wow SMH!
Dream team Fridays!
No one is allowed to live on any beach ive been to!🤬🤬🤬
The toilets are drug dens and dangerous.😮
Wow Fabian that was a lot of homeless people in that section
Every week keep it going non stop
STAND FIRM....let the guard down and the asylum will instantly take root.
this place is like the real life ground hog day
Poor homeless people.🥺
Soon, it will start to rain and get cold. Why can't the people show up with motel/hotel vouchers and snack bags for homeless people?
How about you do what you preach, it's easy to say then do
Why don't you pay for their hotel rooms. Somebody has to pay.
Because even veterans can’t get them because there’s no funding

Oh? Ummm, I see. 🥺
@tka1528
I do what I can when I can, but it's takes a community to help on a major level.😔
That’s the same poor dog with a muzzle that he doesn’t like have you noticed???
Florida's beaches don't have homeless people sleeping on them. It's actually illegal to sleep in public places in Florida. California needs to pass the same law.
I hate to see good shopping carts go to waste.
Looks more than ever
Looks like the healer is taking the day off.
Probably out shopping for more new outfits... Can't wear the same thing twice
It’s the same people every week
So where do they go now?
As soon as the cleanup is finished in a few hours, back to their chosen spot. Police are not issuing citations, so what would be their incentive to move on?
Your mom's basement...
@@sheilaarmistead7888 If they issued citations they will be ignored, if they arrest them the liberal DAs and prosecutors will drop the charges. So why bother. The only way this changes is if the people of California stop electing these liberal politicians that put the soft on crime, don't hold anyone accountable for their actions policies in place. But that won't happen California will continue to vote for the far left liberals and complain while California turn into a crime infested dump.
