@@JoseDeertay, i'm not sure but here in Seattle they drop so many cases its caused the streets to be less safe. I am all for giving people chances but even though its very hard to be convicted here there are still people that manage to have 100 convictions.
I wonder what Police tactic, technique, or procedure was not followed to the point the prosecution dropped charges? Maybe there is more here than what has been presented in this video.
I'm just a retired electrician/electronics tech, so I'm no legal expert. That said, my theory on why (how) she got the charges dismissed is because her lawyer viewed the footage and argued that the liquid the officer said he observed her pouring out was for sure alcohol, not just water or juice etc. Why make such a counterintuitive move? Because then he could shift the burden of proof to the prosecution to prove she wasn't perfectly sober while driving to this parking spot, and only THEN decided to crack open the spirits she brought with her to party hardy in the sanctity of her automobile. He could use this tactic in an attempt to have her charges either reduced, or dismissed altogether, likely shooting for the former. I know, this scenario is almost certainly not true, but technicalities, you know? Now the caveat with this awkward defense would be that it (at least I think??) is still considered DUI/OWI even if she wasn't driving, because so long as she's in the operator's seat and the engine is running, she technically checks all the boxes for a slam dunk case of DUI for the prosecution. Now how she dodged that one, I have no clue.
A part of me feels bad for her, because being a paramedic is not easy. To me, it seems traumatizing. This is how people cope sometimes and I'm not defending her behavior. She's probably seen some very bad stuff.
Everybody gets a chance to screw up ONCE, I believe, as long as they don’t hurt anyone or crash, or both. But do it a second time, and your job in public safety has to be over.
She did NOT just seem to be drunk, in my personal opinion she seemed tweaked out as well. By all the sudden jerking, capability to hold her eyes wide open, biting of the jaw etc. They should have done a blood test instead of just the breath. Doesn't matter though unfortunately because they dropped the charges, scary to know shes saving lives possibly intoxicated.
Did you even watch the video? She poured out liquid when the police showed up, mentioning about coming from or going to some club, was past out behind the wheel, and acted like a total lush. This is the quintessential definition of drunk.

I took a breathalyzer and blew all zeros, and the officers sent me on my way. It's all about demeanor and attitude. And this was back in the day before mandatory body cams.
I passed one. I wasn't drunk either. I got pulled over for leaning over and kissing my boyfriend while driving.
Cops are liars.
I can’t even pass these cold stone sober. Watching enough of these drunk ppl and cops on youtube I have learned-
Never drive with even 3 beers - that always puts me at a .08 BAC. So, I Uber or a DD.
Never talk to them or explain anything- get a lawyer.
Refuse ALL testing esp. The field sobriety- You are guaranteed to fail.
Be smart and get an UBER….Its a lot cheaper than the tickets and fine you will incur.
The prosecutor who dropped both charges should be locked up for purposefully endangering every person on the road! This lady was bombed out of her mind and then got probation. She got another DWI and the prosecutor dropped both charges. That is pure insanity! I can see giving her a break but not dropping the charges. I think the police need to arrest this prosecutor right away and give the time in jail to think about why endangering the public on purpose is a crime. It sounds like someone was paid off to me! Does anybody know the name of the prosecutor who dropped the charges. I think its important to be made public and not sure why this article left the name out!
Did they drop them because she kept saying that she needed her attorney present? I feel like she kept dropping that as a future defense
@@JoseDeertay, i'm not sure but here in Seattle they drop so many cases its caused the streets to be less safe. I am all for giving people chances but even though its very hard to be convicted here there are still people that manage to have 100 convictions.
If a male were to do this, I almost gurantee his charges would stick. However there are double standards for women when it comes to sentencing.
As a paramedic, I'm saddened
She is no representation, she is an exception!
Everybody gets a chance to screw up ONCE, I believe, as long as they don’t hurt anyone or crash, or both.
But do it a second time, and your job in public safety has to be over.
She said she went there to get a pack cigarettes...the cop thought she said she was there to get a pregnancy test. Priceless !!
If she was pregnant, the baby would have serious chromosomal issues. She’s old af
@@nopenoway9875 hahaha I agree. But It showed how drunk she was because she couldnt speak properly.
She wouldn't be pregnant cuz she'd have aborted that poor baby!
She clearly said pregnancy test .

“ apaka ciggertzz”
I love the trick he used to cuff her. "Your car is parked where?" She turns to look at her car, and the cuffs go on. Pretty sneaky, I dig it.

Don’t think I read your comment correctly. Is she a paramedic firefighter?

Yeah- stop saying it. Just f**king stop. We heard you- and your colleagues watching it swallow vomit every time you say it.

70? she looks 23/24
@@CamFields-k6c did you not see all the wrinkles?
He
She did NOT just seem to be drunk, in my personal opinion she seemed tweaked out as well. By all the sudden jerking, capability to hold her eyes wide open, biting of the jaw etc. They should have done a blood test instead of just the breath. Doesn't matter though unfortunately because they dropped the charges, scary to know shes saving lives possibly intoxicated.
She’s probably prescribed and addicted to all sorts of crap.Adderall,Xanax, psych meds etc.Adderall is basically prescription meth.
She is on meth not drunk. Anyone that thinks she is drunk has no idea about real world addicts
She was asleep in her car so I don't think she was tweaking
Did you even watch the video? She poured out liquid when the police showed up, mentioning about coming from or going to some club, was past out behind the wheel, and acted like a total lush. This is the quintessential definition of drunk.
@@chad_b The erratic side effects I saw from this video are exactly what a Stimulant does to anyone using one excessively, such as meth.
They should arrest her plastic surgeon while they're at it.. yikes

You mean those bolt ons? Yep pretty rough...
Paramedic salary doesnt pay for the best work... lol
The right one does look a bit heavier.
her nipples were as straight as her eyeballs.
The old "Where is your car parked?" trick. She never saw it coming. lmao
Love how quickly she went from “I’m on your team!” to “You’re trying to entrap me.”
"Your car is parked where" smooth
That move made me chuckle. It definitely was a smart move on the officers part to get her to turn around.
@@ericaschaidt8588 it doesn’t look like she’s ever been difficult to get to turn around, if you know what I mean. 😉✌️
That was a b.s. move honestly...
I live with someone that drinks like this, and it’s just so upsetting to see this, as well as infuriating. Props to the officers that deal with this ALL THE TIME
They. Don't have to deal with nothing if he don't want too.
Bro I haven't seen someone on alcohol acting quite like this. She seems kinda drunk but she's also like a tweeker bro. Shaking her head a lot. Very impulsive behaviors and stuff like that
Props to you for dealing with someone that lives in your house behaving this way. Word of advice; get out.
Wow. Get far away from that person.
dont forget the kids of these monsters who didn’t get to choose their parents and deal with this from either one or both parents on the daily. the officers got the choice as adults :/
Alcohol is the worst. It destroys more peoples lives. It’s everywhere. We have all been there. I hope this helps her. Nothing better than Humility and being humbled.
Alcohol is like firearms.. the majority can live with it, without becoming a criminal because of it... but many will go down with it.
I for one have not been there
@@oliveryt7168 No. It's a literal poison which there is no safe amount to consume.
It destroys the most lives of any drug, even killing addicts who try to stop using it.
Also, most people who have drank have also driven drunk - meaning they literally are criminals.
Also to repeat myself; There is no safe amount of alcohol to consume, nor is there a responsible way to consume something which cannot be consumed safely.
If you need proof alcohol is bad, look no further then the lengths people went to to end prohibition -- No other drug has caused such a widespread violent reaction among the population for prohibition. Not one, hence why most are still illegal - nobody else will go to the lengths alcoholics will to get their fix. Nobody else will go to such extremes to attempt to normalize their behavior or minimize the dangers of it.
the police arrest them, the judges let them go. DUI is alive and well in America. She's back on the road.

You are right, Florida is a disease. Alcohol is just the place they are in.

Alcoholism is a disease but that doesn't release people of responsibilities and the consequences of horrible decisions. I'm glad this idiot didn't kill someone.
Retired badge...charges dropped means...family or friends in the right place. That's just one of many problems with our judicial system. It always made my job seems futile.
She has to be doing service calls to some old geezer in charge somewhere. She should not be allowed to drive. As for being a wrinkled old horny tart, no laws against it. But so painful to watch, like a cat in heat.
