Travelling in Spain is such a pleasure, simply because your treated as a professional not a 15 meter hinderance to be passed at the soonest possible moment, I do miss Spain.
I like it too 👍🏽
I never did continental in a truck but always over there with a coach. I was told by a trucker that once I’ve driven over there 2 times, I’d never want to drive in UK ever again. Boy was he right. Retired now and miss it like hell
Different ball game eh 👍🏽. Thanks Neil.
Interesting Cable Stayed Bridge at 11:34. 🤔😎
Nice eh ! Cheers mate.
The yellow truck in the scrap yard was an Avia. 👍
Thanks Nidge, someone said it’s a Nazar Super 7 ?
Teruel Airport opened in 2013 and is a maintenance and storage facility. It is situated in one of the driest areas in Europe and one of the least populated in Spain. I visited it about a year after it opened as I just happened to stop overnight close by. The very first aircraft to land there was a Boeing 747.
I’ve done a cab tour of a 747 in a hotel garden in Amsterdam in another video if you want to check it out. Cheers for the info Reggie 👍🏽
I can never remember using cruise control on the M25 ever 🤣😂
Ha, me neither mate.
That’s is Airbus site where they store plans , and dismantle planes to re use parts and also test the stored planes before putting them
Back in service
Ah, question answered-thank you. Thanks for watching too 👍🏽
Lovely part of the world. Amazing how cheap (and how much better) it is to live away from the Costas.
It really is!
That could be Teruel airport used for aircraft storage after the pandemic
Ah, thanks for watching.
Yep, I'm pretty sure of that. B747 graveyard. Sad for me to see such beautiful aircraft in a morgue
I got my cat c in 2008 & c + e in 2010, I drove for Langdons for 6 years & then did some agency work for a year then left the industry & became a chauffeur, I had to go back to the industry during the lockdowns cause the chauffeur industry was dead, watching your vids, I really regret all the hours of my life I've lost, sat on shitty bays in the UK when I could of been enjoying trips like this one with amazing scenery & facilities 😢
Hi Darren & yes a lot nicer than driving in the UK. Thanks for watching mate.
Brilliant... really enjoy your vlogs 👍
Glad you like them Mike 👍🏽
Busy with the back catalogue and I have come to a realisation.
All my favourite truck vloggers hail from the land of the red dragon. Jenko, Scott, Russ and now Ben the breeze.
What’s that all about?
Haha, not sure about why that is Paul 🏴 😃
Another great video. Thanks..
Thank you Alec, glad you enjoyed it 😊
Top mark's for the vlog , great commentary, so reminds me of the good old days on European work . Been off road know for 6 years, stuck in the pit of misery, hey it's not that bad loading European lorries back over the water . Hey ho keep up the good work, and putting a smile on my very Welshman,s face Diolch 😊
Glad you enjoyed it David. Keep watching.
I love it down there & as you say it’s a beautiful place 🇪🇸. Thanks for watching.
That black bull is advertising Veterano Osborne Brandy, you see them all over Spain
That’s the one Kev 👍🏽. Thanks mate.
Thanks very much. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I love the area 🇪🇸
Great video sir. Superb photography, information and chit chat. I have just come across you and have subscribed. Looking forward to seeing more of your travels. Thanks for posting 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks Peter, that's very kind of you to say. Plenty more to see on the Channel (check out the Mont Blanc video) & hopefully a new one coming next week as Im heading to Southern France.
I had another driver say to me he hated driving in the UK and couldn't wait to catch the ferry I now see why looking at your video and I also follow another blogger she is called long distance lorry diaries she also does Europe, like yourself she shows a lot of places of interest but I notice how much better the roads are to get about on in Spain also grabbing a shower and a meal without paying a fortune a lovely video thank you.
Live driving in Spain best of all 👍🏽
Think the place where all the planes at the beginning of the video, was a storage facility when the airlines had to moth ball a lot of their planes at the start of covid. I have seen a video of Lufthansa plane being prepared to go back into service from storage at a airfield in Spain .
Teruel apparently Alan & I believe you’re right about them being mothballed.
Just found your channel very interesting looking forward to the next one
Great stuff & thanks for watching. Part 3 of the Italian job should go on soon.
Great Vlog Ben 👍
Thank you so much & thanks for watching.
i think that airport you saw is where a lot of companies are still storing their planes after corona it went 100% capacity when it was in full swing
Hi J, I’d heard that. I bet it was rammed ! Cheers for looking in.
Just found your channel lar.. Love it.. Look forward to seeing your trips when I'm off work Monday.. Stay safe fella.. 👍🏻🚛🚛
Welcome aboard Alan 👍🏽. Plenty to go at & more to come 😀
@@The_Breeze1 brilliant lad.. Love it.. 👍🏻🚛
Great job mate 👍🇦🇺
Thanks Dave & for watching 👍
Yellow Truck could be a Pegaso
Hi William, you may be right as someone else suggested that too. Cheers pal.
17:39 - Slide-out kitchen side-locker.
Handy eh Harold 👍🏽. Cheers matey 😊
Think yellow truck is an old barreros or a pegaso . And those planes are parked up after the covid when they werent needed and then the downturn came so the leasing companies parked them up as werent being used . Hope u had a safe trip . Was the company u drive for used to be called mortimers or at least the buisiness was . Cheers .
Hi Ian, I’ve had a few guesses at the truck & I think I’ll have to call in next time I’m passing 👍🏽. There’s been a few explanations of the aircraft site too & I think you’re on the right lines 👍🏽. Cheers for looking in pal 😃
Just came across your channel I've never done any European work great videos 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you so much 😊
Great video ben Jenko's got some keeping up with you 😂
Thanks again Paul.
Loving the truck pics at the race circuit - wishinging I had followed my dream when I left the raf and did my licence - oh well - will continue enjoying Europe thru your vids
Do a bit for the race Teams near you. Take a look at my F1 Trucking videos too. Hard work but good fun. Thanks for watching mate 👍🏽
That Lidl Ruby Ale is a nice competitively priced drop of beer
One of my favourite bottled beers Gruner but it’s getting harder to come by lately. Thank you for watching my friend 👍🏽
@@The_Breeze1 The Aldi "Harper's" Ruby Red is worth a try £1.19 and also brewed by Marston's 🍺
Scania
I was in a Volvo.
10:34 That's a Nazar Super 7
Cheers Alan, someone said it’s an Avia ? Thanks for watching though 👍🏽
Five pounds for all that food. Shows how we are mugged in the UK
Ha, you got it !
Great video! The yellow truck could it be an old Pegaso?
Hi Johnnie, I’ve had a few suggestions & tbh I’m going to call in next time I get chance & either find out or get better pictures. Thanks for watching mate 👍🏽
es un aparcamiento de aeronaves y se lleno en tiempos del Covi.
Gracias Pedro 🇪🇸 👍🏽
where the planesare its where they change older 1s into cargo planes gives them a 2nd life.2 the best cafes to stop at in spain are where there is lots of trucks in them with no trucks are rubbish3. why travel all the way to calais when you can get a ferry from santander/bildoa to plymouth or portsmouth thats what i did yes im a extrucker but now drive a big 6 berth motorhome i only go with brittany ferries
Thanks for the planes info mate. We run to Rungis sometimes before heading for Spain so Calais is best & the vets is there. Coming back my delivery was in Essex so again Calais made sense. I have a MoHo myself ☺️
Great video, where was the place you got the cheap fry, and what Routiers did you stay in above Rouen?. Only asking because i mark them as places of interest if i get to go back at european 🤞 thanks
Hi John, I can’t remember the garage where I had the great lunch but the routiers was Relais de La Bretagne nr Rouen. Thanks for watching mate 👍🏽
That yellow truck was a fiat
Thanks, there’s been a few replies now. I’ll have to stop next time I’m down that way & get a closer look. Thanks for watching mate 👍🏽
It's a service senter for air spania Amigo
Cheers Andrew 👍🏽
No it is not
What sat nav do you us I prefer to Tom but want to try another type thanks
I have a Garmin dezl atm Robert & it’s ok though like TT it’s overpriced. I’ve had cheap £60 ones before that have been fine-maybe even better 😃. Thanks for watching mate 👍🏽
Thanks for the reply I have a Garmin dezl 8in it seems to go totally different ways to TT if you think they are ok I will give it a go by the way like your videos
How little traffic compared to 🇬🇧🇬🇧 😕
Much less Darren. Spain is my favourite too 😃
Looks like a old hino or fiat
Hi Dave, I thought that too ! Cheers for watching pal.
1200 quid of fuel ,,,,,,how do firms make money
Sadly many can’t, especially competing with cheap labour from other Countries. That £1200 won’t last me the week either & weve 30+ trucks to fill 😱. Cheers for watching Rob 👍🏽
the planes are probably a climate change conference 😁
Haha, apparently it’s where they get broken for parts 🤷♂️. Thanks for looking in 👍🏽
