@adrianlock687, I’m 56 years old and changed careers a few times since I was a truck driver for the 10 years between the age of 21 to 31. I hope I live to the age of 82 at least. I do envy you driving in a time when comradeship was the normal. I was a truck driver for 10 years from the age of 21 to 31. Then I got a job at Manchester Airport as an aircraft refueller for Shell from the age of 31 to 39. Whilst working for Shell, I trained part time to gain my Commercial Pilots License. In 2007 at the age of 39, I got my first job as a pilot for Thomson Airways flying 737s based at Manchester. In 2010, I was made redundant by Thomson Airways and I moved to Qatar in the Middle East as I got a job with Qatar Airways flying Airbus A320s. I’ve been here ever since. The World Cup was amazing. Totally agree about the roads. used to drive to Ostend a few times pre-Covid and went down to Provence a few years ago, plus several booze cruises. Cracking video though, so glad that you are enjoying your new job.👍

On the door, you need to put a slice in the seal either side of the door, water then runs down the side rather than at the bottom onto your shoes👍🏼

Hi Martyn, glad you made it into Germany safe and sound. Talking about travel news, the French are very good by giving the radio frequency on the motorways. I just wish we did the same thing here in the UK.

Tidy Toby is one of the best I ran out of time yrs ago when we were grocotts I was sent to park my loaded lorry In Toby’s yard and he let me take his car back to our yard to get home on a bank holiday weekend
