Ive read a few books by musicians. I dont care for them. Its just an ego stroke, or a whine fest. I guess i get it to some extent. Fans want to know what its like, or more about their favorites. That just isnt me. Only one book by a musician i can recommend. And The Ass Saw The Angel, by Nick Cave. Now, i get it, most people dont even know who Nick Cave is. Most wont like his music. You dont need to. Hes a great story teller. This is an actual novel. It has nothing to do with music, or the industry. Its just a story. But it showcases Caves ability to create a story. Fun fact about the book. Its just a fleshed out story from one of his songs. So basically, from a short song, he was able to create an entire novel. Its a pretty great read.
