Props to tesla making a 1000hp car flying around the Nurburgring one of the most boring flying laps I’ve ever seen
You can always go back and finish "beating your meat".😂😂😂😂
Yeah, I mean I'd rather watch a Dacia Logan making a hotlap than this
Sort of surreal watching that! It's as if they took the sound track and deleted the combustion engine sound!
Model Scary Slow😁🫨
Why did it top off at 179.6mph (289kph)?
cut power to prevent overheat?
Still they made the slowest 1000 hp car to lap this track lots of Porsches, Ferraris, even Alfa Romeos, jaguars and much more can do that time with half the power, RWD, and barely any advanced computers
It's one of the only production 1000HP car to do the track, 1000HPdrivetrains come with weight and cooling restrictions, what holds it back the most is it's weight, putting this drivetrain in a 2 door would yield a significantly faster time than a executive class sedan.
@@miguellopez3392 yes it is the only 1000 hp car to do the track what place would you think it would be if every car company that lapped this track suddenly decided to make a 1000 hp car and do a lap
@Nickel Campbell that's the thing not every company can slap 1000HP on a production car, the warranty claims would bankrupt them so they would be limited run cars.
They also made the fastest sedan ;)
@@alexz8373 remember the top 10 other sedans to lap the track has half the hp numbers what if those companies randomly decide that they want to make a 1000 hp sedan to do a record the plaid would end up at the bottom and companies like porsche is already working on a 1000 hp electric drivetrain
“Boss, im gonna be 7 mins and 25 secs late”
Diese Rundenzeit wurde allein durch den besseren Topspeed erreicht. In den engen Kurven sieht das nicht so souverän aus.
Plaid baby! ⚡️🔥🚀🇺🇲
4680 Roadster = GAME OVER
Would like to see the consistency of the car. What about a second, third, fourth lap in a row? Oh no: "Battery overheated, power is reduced." 😂
That's never been a problem with the Plaid. The cooling system can keep up until the battery runs out of juice.
Most high powered performance cars would run out of fuel before doing 4 laps on the ring. 50 litres gets you about 3 laps.
@@sorka95032 Let's talk about it again when it is 33°C or 91°F. Driving fast on a road is something completely different that on a race track.
@@DuckHunterGaming I'm pretty sure the Tesla was setup to use most, if not all, of its battery to get the best laptime possible. Which leads to the conclusion that a comparable 'high powered performance car' (aka two-and-a-half-ton-tank) like the Porsche Panamera Turbo S can go 3-4 times the distance (90L fuel tank; 22.5l /lap = 4 laps; more than 22.5 l/lap = 3 Laps). And there is really no need to talk about the amount of time needed to get the Tesla charged compared to the time needed to get another 3-4 laps out of a 'normal' car.
As impressive as the time of the Tesla is, there is no use in comparing EVs and combustion engine cars in terms of range let alone endurance racing.
@Duck Hunter Gaming It's normally four laps you can do on one tank. But my focus was more on the temperatures rather than consumption.
Amazing driving. Such a heavy car mas drive like a pig, although the performance of the Tesla also surprised me! Very interesting lap!

Race seat and roll cage are mandatory, some interior is stripped to match the added weight of the roll cage.
@@miguellopez3392 Amazing the interior noise was still quiet. Well built
@@hotdognobun well panel gap, well explode cases
Yes, race seat, roll cage and stripped out interior... exactly as Porsche ;)
Seems misleading for those thinking they can achieve those times when they own the car but actually have to modify the car that can voids warranty and permanently damages tour car. Car manufacturers should not do this its very dangerous for the average owners
Is there anything stock about this car? Oh... and no yoke.
Car totally stock except for standard mods which all runs of this type make - roll cage and reaching bucket seat with racing harness I cluded for safety, other interior weight stripped back to cancel weight of roll cage and bring the car back to its exact stock weight.
