The album doesn't suck at all, people just got their collective e-panties in a twist because it was different. I can sort of see their point, hell even I was thrown for a loop when I heard the clean singing etc, but TUK was clearly the result of a different writing team and a desire to experiment. I do agree that it doesn't quite 'fit' with the Cryptopsy I/we had known up to that point, but I still think it's a great record in its own right. (P.S. Their latest cd is fantastic!)
Fucking awesome. Those palm mutes sound brutal. Would love to see some older songs done like this. Also I like this guy's stage presence; always way into it. Super excited for new material! \m/
Holy shit dude. Now that I go back and watch it again, it is freaking me out. You are so robotic it is scary. Super super refined picked but even scarier is how fucking precise your sliding is. You could be a seriously bad ass tech death guitarist man. too bad it is wasted on 14 breakdowns/song.
@EGGJAZZ I think the biggest reason is that I absolutely hate mike disalvo's vocals on those albums, (though the current vocalist isn't a whole lot better). Idk, Im just really not into those albums musically. I thought the unspoken king was interesting because I brought in a new twist. But none so vile and once was not are still my two favorite albums by them:)
Come on guys, is this album really that bad? It may not be as good as some of their earlier albums, but I like this album a hell of a lot more then whisper supremacy or and then you'll beg....
I am more more of an old cryptopsy fan and I only liked 2 parts of this song. 1 being those natural harmonics second being that riff at 1:17, and that is only because it was so fast your hand looked like a machine. Other than that it was every other deathcore band's song just faster.
this guy is one of the most entertaining guys to watch live. Shreds like hell and always a metal face that could abort the unborn with its grimacing!
Cryptopsy has been doing breakdowns since their early days, the production make them more "cheesy" in TUK. The riffage is awesome in this song.
wow he plays guitar so delicately
Someone please explain to me how this album sucks again. I've been a Cryptopsy fan since the 90's and I love this album.
good morning
Nice video
plays guitar so delicately
God bless you

Mike Xander agreed!!!
I despise deathcore so yeah these new records hurt my soul
You rule and thanks for helping out the local boys in Nobis =)
Awesome!!
THAT SONG ITS AMAZING! AND THAT ALBUM ITS THE BEST FROM CRYPTOPSY!
@@fromwithin_LMAOOOO
@pingu53 deathcore riffs, judge by the your ears not the shirt that someone is wearing, those are typical crazy cryptopsy riffs.
how can you like this more than the ones you mentioned

sick
@xanjelx Exactly what I was thinking. Apparently they're going to have their own site up again some time and there will be more of these videos.
killer play through and such a sick fucking guitar.
nice thing that that bothered me the most about that album and once was not was that you could barely hear the guitar riffs
Say what you will about the TUK album, but it sure had some awesome riffs, like the slide+tap one at 0:47
Chris is just an amazing guitarist
@xanjelx WS and ATYB would also be a great choice
@BookakingProductions Yeah I've seen that already, it was posted over a month ago...
Fucking awesome guitarist
this vid should at least have 666 likes
ah cool!
karaoke
@TheFinalResistance52 Yea wish I owned it.....
@raketapjotr Maybe it's because both Cryptopsy and Despised Icon are from Montréal.... duh
They know each other
@superfish22
exactly what I thought
Wow! Chris t'es rendu fuckin bon!!!!!
It would be cool to see Levasseur do this with the some of the Blasphemy Made Flesh or None so Vile songs.
I wonder which guitar interface did he use, sounds awesome
Plays through his Axe-Fx. Now uses Kemper
@xanjelx Here's Jon doing just that /watch?v=k7MNJdJhC5s
Dude, Despised Icon is one of the few perfect deathcore bands. You dissing them only points out your ignorance.
It's too bad that you can't hear the guitar at ALL in the album mix of this song.
Fuck the haters, this song is fuckin' brutal!!!

@raketapjotr ...As a long time fan of Cryptopsy, no they arent.
@LifegrindX ....Nope, not in comparison to anything on Once Was Not, And then Youll Beg, Whisper Supremacy, etc, etc....
I WAAANT NONE SO VILE SONGS PLOX
Come on guys, is this album really that bad? It may not be as good as some of their earlier albums, but I like this album a hell of a lot more then whisper supremacy or and then you'll beg....
Oh dear, haha. Cryptopsy died a long time.
why would a band go from being a heavey wieght to a band thats not even a good deathcore, band,,god they blow now
Not a fan of this song but it's at least reasonably technical, but in a different way to stuff like Voice Of Unreason or Serpents Coil.
Ебонуться как круто

despised icon....well i guess we all know who shat out the deathcore riffs on TUK
Well played but I don't like their new shit. Lord Worm was Cryptopsy
