@justinmohan7103 yeah I have a set open on my desk at work and they're definitely not terrible, but just feel lighter and cheaper than the OG's. The biggest bummer is the lack of deco on some figs like Bebop and Baxter.
Displays looking killer! Love how you fill up the backgrounds with comics or boxed stuff, really makes each shelf pop. I never feel bad or regret when I get out of a line of figs. Sometimes its fun just to check different stuff out and I've never lost my shirt on anything that was worth collecting.
@Skipray_Blastboat I feel like since these shelves don't have infinite shelving placement options like Billy's do they leave a lot of dead space so that was my kind of solution to fill out the display. I'm yet to really miss anything I've let go of at this point with maybe 2-3 exceptions of individual figures. Changing things up is fun, and fun is what I'm after.
Awesome Collection! I got the BST Figures too and all versions of Michaelangelo from the other Ninja Turtles shows. I think you're missing the NECA Mirage April figure that came out in 2009.

Dude this looks insanely good. You did a really good job of avoiding that cramped look that many displays get, perfect amount of breathing room for all your figs and really makes them all pop. I just wanna sit in this room with my Mikey suspenders and play Turtles in Time. Sick dude, for reals ✊🏼.

@flockscruz4316 I would argue that those aren't the top 3 properties of the early 90's for boys. TMNT and MMPR are unquestionable, but I think X-Men have a strong case with a huge cartoon, huge action figure line, and the peak of the comics happening right before that and they were still riding pretty high at that time.

Totally Tubular, dude. My eyes always draw to those giant NECA Turtles. I will probably never grab those, but they do like freakn sweet. Right, the Super7s next to the Playmates just works. I would like a set of those Batman Turtles and MMPRxTMNT turtles. Those VHS boxes give a good feeling. I see those Christmas Turtles. Im currently looking for a set.
@KootenaiKing dude you should just grab one of the 1/4 scale turtles they are so damn cool and are some of my favorite things in the collection for sure. It's crazy that the Batman sets go for so much I bought extra sets on clearance for like $15 each and traded them to a friend for some comics. You can catch a lot of the MMPR sets on sale right now. They are very cool.

Awesome stuff. I have a dedicated transformers room but switched to neca toon tmnt last year. The quality of transformers got so bad I tapped out. I want to get the musical tour ones 😂

When the war for cybertron trilogy siege/earthrise/kingdom stuff started coming out I really liked em, my small MP collection became the entire Siege line in a quick sale. Then I went back a bit to the prime wars trilogy and got some of those. But I got EVERY character that came out. Characters I had no connection with like the beasts wars. So I sold maybe 100 figures to fund neca tmnt. (oh and the awful bay movie chatacters sold off too)
My favorite thing in your collection. I didn't notice before is VHS kids club tapes. Hits me in the nostalgia feels. I feel S7 should focus on one line. Trying to copy Neca Hasbro and Mattel clearly isn't working. Neca Hasbro and Mattel are bigger companies. That's why S7 should start small. Then when they figure their stuff out. Maybe they too will become a big company then start putting their hands in a bunch of pots.

Now I'm going to watch it after I respond to a few more people haha. S7 did take on way too much way too quick. When they were just focused on TMNT and Thundercats, things were fine. Then, once they started anouncing a new line every other day, things started to change pretty quickly.

As far as sets for the NECA toon line, I have the style guides turtles, they glossy disguise turtles, then two sets of the new style guide turtles, so 4 I guess.

@CharliOmega since I was a kid I've always wanted an arcade cabinet in my house so this was dream come true to finally get. I def don't play it a ton so it does spend most of it's life as a display, but it only takes a minute to move the figs off to play when I do.

Had all the playmates figures growing up, only show I loved more then TMNT was Batman The Animated Series which I still love to this day and is my fav animated show still(holds up incredibly), aim to just get the 4 main turtles,Casey Jones and Shredder for now, help a brother out, can’t go to crazy since I have a 15 month old Son,Wife and live in super expensive California lol, also random question what year were you born? So as far as which way to go, NECA is definitely putting out way more product and they have a ton of lines but it's kind of hard to get caught up on everything that has been sold out and it's not cheap on the after market. Super7 on the other hand is very easy to get caught up on at this point and you can get a ton of them for half off in some cases. If you love the Playmates line, you will love S7. Either way, you can't go wrong. I was born in March of '87 so we are damn close.
@user-ir5nm4vz2x Walmart they're only $30 bucks each. They are definitely not the quality of like an IKEA Billy shelf, but for the price point I'm happy with them.
@lukeluck1395 every 6-8 months I take everything off and clean the shelves and dust what needs to be dusted. Takes forever, but I rearrange things to help keep my collection fresh too.

I am like you and have a bit of an addictive personality as well,Batman/I’m huge collector of hardcover deluxe comics/manga,movies etc long story short I grew up on 87 turtles,watched first two TMNT movies 90 and SOTO on repeat with my brother,I have Usagi yojimbo Stan Sakai neca figure,some mezco and mafex but I want to collect some TMNT figures I don’t know if I should go super 7 or NECA toon/movies? Had all the playmates figures growing up, only show I loved more then TMNT was Batman The Animated Series which I still love to this day and is my fav animated show still(holds up incredibly), aim to just get the 4 main turtles,Casey Jones and Shredder for now, help a brother out, can’t go to crazy since I have a 15 month old Son,Wife and live in super expensive California lol, also random question what year were you born? I feel we are similar in age I’m Nov 1988

So as far as which way to go, NECA is definitely putting out way more product and they have a ton of lines but it's kind of hard to get caught up on everything that has been sold out and it's not cheap on the after market. Super7 on the other hand is very easy to get caught up on at this point and you can get a ton of them for half off in some cases. If you love the Playmates line, you will love S7. Either way, you can't go wrong. I was born in March of '87 so we are damn close.

@user-ir5nm4vz2x Walmart they're only $30 bucks each. They are definitely not the quality of like an IKEA Billy shelf, but for the price point I'm happy with them.

how do you clean the figures/prevent dust from building up?
@lukeluck1395 every 6-8 months I take everything off and clean the shelves and dust what needs to be dusted. Takes forever, but I rearrange things to help keep my collection fresh too.

@scoutz1510 I'm not going to lie I would get bored if I only collected turtles. I like variety and I love X-Men and MMPR. That's sick you till have your OG VHS too!
