Pure nostalgia. I'm 34 (born in 1985). I spent about $1,500 bucks on a sealed in the box 1990 Technodrome, which was my favorite toy as a kid. I had to finance it, but it was totally worth it to get the Technodrome again just to hold it and be able to look at the damn box. If I was forced to sell my entire toy collection and only save one piece, it would definitely be the Technodrome.

Awesome collection. I always wanted to collect these but the prices have kept me away. However, have you seen the new Super 7 versions? I am grabbing all of those now to at least allow me some sort of vintage style TMNT figures.
I am 11 and my and my dad love every tmnt it is amazing and me and my dad are rewatching the tmnt 1980 because I have alot of the discs and I grew up with the 1980 and 2012 my favorite shows
Sounds like you and your father have great taste! Although I love the original series, the 2012 show is a very close second favorite. I watched it religiously and collected all of the toys from that line as well.
Your generation went back and collected the old toys you grew up with. The current generation will be collecting old iphones because that was the "toys" they grew up with.
I’m from this generation and your not wrong. However I will forever hold my Leonardo action figure from the movie in 2007 with me till the day I’m no longer on earth!!! That thing I could play with for hours on end not to mention the video game of off the movie!!!! I also had the 2003 shellraiser which is still in my basement to this day! Such good times back then. Man I miss those days.
Amazing collection man, really awesome all the way around. I'm just coming over from a longtime retro game collecting scene and still active there, but do you have any tips or anything to get started a bit with TMNT figures? I'm also very interested in the new NECA 1/4 figures as well, my God those are also amazing!
Thanks for watching! My tip for everyone is to start hitting flea markets and yard sales. The figures may not be mint or complete, but they are a good starting point and usually much cheaper. Additionally, find out where your local vintage toy shop is located and see what they have. I’m guessing you may already have connections since you’re in the Retro gaming scene, so ask around for a local toy honey hole! One more tip - define what you want in your collection. Carded? Loose? Loose complete? Doing this will help you focus on the items you want the most.
David Roeseler check ebay, you will find anything you are looking for, I myself have a huge collection of loose and new in package figures, check my channel for some cool videos 😎
Thanks for watching! Pretty much anything can be found on eBay. But mine came from a combination of sources such as flea markets, vintage toy stores, local “connections,” as well as eBay. I’d try your local stores first to support small business!
I grew up a huge turtles fan!!! I'm looking to invest in the vintage 80s-90s toys which i grew up with I had almost every toy figure and vehicle set you could think of but unfortunately many were lost over time except a few loose figures Any tips on how to find and collect???
I’d probably start hitting up local flea markets and yard sales, but even those are getting tough to find vintage. Look in your local area for a good vintage toy store and connect with the owners. Give them your business and create a relationship. Then they often give you great deals and will look out for items that you’re searching for. Plus it’s a great way to support small businesses and connect with the community!
You caught me. Shhh, keep it between us. In all seriousness, I started collecting them years ago way before they were $100+ a piece. Many I only paid $20 for!

Cowabunga!!
that carded collection!!
I got that same shirt. In fact, I'm wearing it right now!
You’re a man of good taste!
@@ReeYeesRetroToys Thanks! Same to you sir. Awesome video btw.
Awesome toys
Thanks for tuning in buddy!
Lovely....
Awesome! Radical Dude! :)
Thanks brother!
Awesome video. How hard is it to get MOC figures
Thanks for watching! Pretty much anything can be found on eBay. But mine came from a combination of sources such as flea markets, vintage toy stores, local “connections,” as well as eBay. I’d try your local stores first to support small business!
Love this. Video!
Thanks man!
I grew up a huge turtles fan!!!
I'm looking to invest in the vintage 80s-90s toys which i grew up with
I had almost every toy figure and vehicle set you could think of but unfortunately many were lost over time except a few loose figures
Any tips on how to find and collect???
I’d probably start hitting up local flea markets and yard sales, but even those are getting tough to find vintage. Look in your local area for a good vintage toy store and connect with the owners. Give them your business and create a relationship. Then they often give you great deals and will look out for items that you’re searching for. Plus it’s a great way to support small businesses and connect with the community!
How did you do to get all those action figures blister sealed??? Do you have a time machine?
You caught me. Shhh, keep it between us. In all seriousness, I started collecting them years ago way before they were $100+ a piece. Many I only paid $20 for!
