Getting the chance to hang out with your dad is priceless!
This was an awesome video. Thank you for sharing your experiences from the past. This flea market seemed all the more original. Loved it
🎉😢
nice piece of americana in every video, great stuff
We have a little similar flea market out here. Hit and miss but that’s what makes the scores there sooo sweet. 😆 Nice grab on M&Ps and ALFs. Did not know about the seal cover. Hilarious.
Looks like just about every flea we goto here in jersey....
I had that Disco Nights album when I was a kid. Alicia Bridges sings I Love the Night Life, which is from Love at First Bite, but when they put Love at First Bite of DVD, they changed the song! It made me so mad!
If you like real flea markets with old and new stuff and great food--try the Green Dragon in the Amish country. Really large, partially indoors with trains, books, leather goods, Amish meats, jams, pickles, and outdoor items, and toys from all eras. I think only open on Sundays once or twice a month. Well worth the drive from your location. Just saying.🥸
I enjoy your other videos very much but keep doing more videos like this! Awesome! Thank you, take care.
This FLEA looked liked the one's held just outside the City I live in ...usually a waste of time with stupid high prices..ugh
Oh, this brought back fond memories! “Trash n Treasure” is what we call flea markets. Held every Sunday at the local drive-in. It was huge - vendors would take up the whole lot. Half bric a brac, half food/fresh produce. We’d often see a movie on Saturday night then come back Sunday morning to grab a bargain, haha. Sausage sizzle for the win! Pretty much all gone now. Especially with the demise of the drive-in. The last one in my city shut down two years ago. Still a few little markets around. But nothing on the scale of the old Trash n Treasures… P.S. Who was the blonde old mate was talking about? Marilyn Monroe? Suzanne Somers? Farrah Fawcett? Bo Derek? Pamela Anderson?😆
Hello. Thanks for the video Matt. I felt like I was actually at Toyhio. Take care.
I grabbed that Galaxy Heroes Tiger man. Good catch in the video because I almost missed it. I also got that RAMBO defender 6X6 in box.
Man I am so jealous that you were there Friday night during set up. The show was packed and I had to wait until it died down some before I could get any video. I didn't realize there was a wrestling event going on. Somehow I didn't see you on Saturday. Great video.
Oh my gosh, those Dinosaucers! ❤
Great video.Brings back a lot of memories
Oh man , another great video from you again . I've always wanted to go there . I saw something in this video that I'd really like to get . If you'll be back there for Sunday and if it's still there , I could pay you right away for it 🙏🏻
That T-Shirt is awesome by the way.
What a cool video -- it took me two nights to go through it. I like the Monster in my Pocket set -- I wouldn't mind having that myself. The Arco Other World figures are really unusual. I've always liked them.
Great video! You do a great job filming so folks can actually see the toys unlike others who zoom through. Also nice that you don’t try to be a comedian commentator throughout like others. Subscribing for sure! 😀
I was supposed to go to this show, took the day off from work, but something came up and I was not able go. I really appreciate you filming it, I feel like I actually went after watching your video! I enjoyed the setup day as well. Keep up the amazing videos! 👏 Thank you, take care.
Great video. I’m glad you got to browse my table. I’m the guy who makes all the toys in the back room. I do all the 3d modeling, 3d printing and hand paint each figure. Just wanted to say thanks for including me in the video. Too bad I was away from my table handing out custom figures as gifts to all the guest. I’m a fan of your videos, toy hunt videos give me ideas for new things to make, or show me things that never were made into toys and I try to fill that void for people.
That tee is dare I say,, Perfect 👌
Was there. Loved it
Great video, kicking myself for going to Toypalooza instead of Toyhio this year. Soo many shield shooters, and those are the only figures I need for the old D&D line.
Cool Video 👍👍👍👍
Always enjoy your description of what you pick up and how it goes into, and with your collections, and with the years manufactured and some of the original commercials. How about doing a second video of just your purchases with the usual comments after the Show video? Also I know it is not in your collecting interest, but would love some time spent on collectible card booths, Star Wars, Star Trek, Movie Themes, etc. Just saying.🥸
Very fun to watch. Love how much footage you got. I would have had one of you guys drag me out of this show. I would have been out of money in 5 mins. I dont think I have ever seen a 1979 South Bend Enterprise at a show before. That DInoRIders triceratops was non-yellow and as minty as they get. That one corner you were in was a Star Wars Playset blowout. I would have grabbed all 4 of the cardboard sets and prob the jabbas dungeon. Just wow. Hope you saved money for TFTA!
Epic show. Hope to make it across the Pacific one day. And drop an absolute fortune 😍😍😍💸💸💸 Know I'm in the minority but I love the Star Wars Micro Collection. Never seen so many boxed before. Well, not since they were on toy department shelves around 1982, lol. Keen for your vendor video down the line. Thinking about getting a table at a local toy fair to move all my modern stuff. So yeah, I'll be taking notes, haha...
Great job great video as always ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
''perfect strangers'' was a trip, lol thats you and Chad now haha
I was Christian Cage my wife was Toni Storm. Our first time having a table, won’t be our last!!! Great video man
We saw you guys. Epic costumes btw
@@nickcenters thanks bro!
Looking forward to Toys For The Ages in July!
Appropriately titled the episode...the show did have everything! Great job capturing it all and great hanging out!
This is physically hurting me watching this shit
This video is killing me
The guy behind the register is the guy that made fun of the collector that has cerebral palsy. Can’t bring fam and friends there anymore after that.😔 The guy that always works the register our front has just literally kicked people out for asking questions then goes and makes fun of a guy most collectors know isn’t cool with us,we’ve seen the videos of that guy saying crazy stuff about people and in OH ,Ky and Indy we just no longer shop there. It’s unfortunate the other two owners are really cool guys but this guy knows nothing about collecting and is extraordinarily rude and just not a good human being, being rude and making fun of someone with a disability just is not cool,it’s heart breaking and wrong and as collectors we should have morals, values and principles,we should be a good example for our kids and the future of collecting.😞💙
Are you coming tomorrow? Toyhio 19! I’ll be there at my booth come see me! Fellow RUclipsr @@Americanxennial !
I’ll be there!
A smaller store but still loaded with toys. My friend William and I were planning on checking them out this year as we are always looking for new stores.
You should definitely check them out. Awesome people to work with and talk shop!
I have that same skeleton key chain hanging on your mirror🤩, I’ve had it since I was a kid! Pretty sure I got it one night at the video store renting a vhs 😜
Awesome! And this is my childhood keychain as well! I got it at a small novelty store in the town over from us when I was 7 years old. Of course the ruby eyes are long gone. Haha
You did it!!!! Super Powers!
Haha yep! We’ll see if it will continue…
Had it
Also, that yeti is not from the 90s.. it was actually like 10ish years ago I believe, surprisingly.. I’ve seen the Bigfoot at shows before.
Interesting! Thanks for clarifying. A pretty neat toy for being so modern.
@@ReeYeesRetroToys I was surprised too when I found that out a few years ago. I was going to buy Bigfoot then found out it was like some 2015 or 2012 tru exclusive or something lol
Dude! This store is awesome! The rage cage hulk, hulk bank signed by Lou, carded Hercules, clean firehouse - quality stuff at this place. I love the sp Batman pickup and especially that mad scientist piece! I was obsessed with mad scientist stuff and monster face as a kid! You never see that line at all. Great stuff as always buddy 👏👏
Thanks man! You probably have all the Hulk stuff at this point, but Johnny will ship if you need something. The Dissect an Alien was one of those “I have to have it” spontaneous buys, especially for 20 bucks. And I fear I’m now on the SP slippery slope. Haha
Oh that vintage Boglin is fantastic! Never had any of those myself. I've also thought about collecting some Super Powers, can't go wrong with the Batman. Interesting to hear you say you might downsize - is that down to space? or want to focus a little more? Great shop and video 👍
Thanks for watching buddy! I was just about in shock finding that vintage Boglin in box. As for downsizing, it’s more about focusing. I feel I have too much of lines that are cool, but I don’t really have a connection with. I think I’ll always be a collector, but I’ve slowed way down lately.
@@ReeYeesRetroToys Think I'm still at that stage of adding new lines.but at the same time have completely ran out of display space. So it does make you think what is the end game!
Very eclectic little store. Batman and Boglin are banging brother. Thank you for sharing. 😁
Thanks buddy! I was over the moon about finding the Boglin in box. You just don’t see those very often.
What a special store and enthusiastic owner. I wish him the best and thank you for showing us!
You’re very welcome! They are an absolute pleasure to work with.
Another awesome video! I also really liked the conversion you had with the owner during the video. Thank you, take care.
Excellent, glad you enjoyed it! I was glad that Johnny walked around with me as well & kept the conversation flowing.
Batman is a great figure to start collecting the Kenner Super Powers line with. I hope you get them all! I've never owned a Boglin. I never even found one at a yard sale. They remind me of Madballs in a way. For some reason, I never knew they existed back in the 80s and 90s.
I was never expecting to own a vintage Boglin in box, especially in this condition. They tend to age and deteriorate like Madballs often do. But I couldn’t pass up the amazing deal he gave me! And yes, those Super Powers are mighty tempting. Haha
@@ReeYeesRetroToys Here's an IMPORTANT TIP -- only buy Madballs made in Taiwan -- NEVER buy Madballs made in Korea. The Korean ones are the ones that deteriorate.
Hey man watch the show always that my home area u got get chili dog while ur there keep vids up
I love me a good Coney Island chili dog. Thanks for watching!
Fun fact, the kid in the mad scientist commercial was the main kid in Return of the Living Dead part 2 and a smaller roll in the 80s The Blob!!
That’s awesome, I wasn’t aware of that! And I love ROTLD flicks.
@@ReeYeesRetroToys brainchild of the rotld series was George a Romero's former business partner who wanted to take the movies in a comedy direction. George wanted to stick to strictly horror and got into a legal battle with the guy over the "living dead"name!! I love and grew up with both but lean more towards dawn of the dead 70s,and day of the dead.🤘
Right on! Dawn is one of my favorite films of all time. We live about 40 minutes from the Monroeville Mall so I frequent it often!
@@ReeYeesRetroToys no freaking way dude!! I'm always telling my parents we need to take a road trip up there and take photos. I live in Austin, no zombie malls here!! Now I'm getting back into collecting because of you helping with the GUTS! and Mega Force. Thankfully my pops is a toy and rock &roll lover too.
