    Matt, just watched your trip to Butler and through I'd sub to your channel!! Cool stuff, the Butler trip blew my mind!! Lots of stuff that came out when I was @ Slippery Rock so Im interested in mostly 60s and 70s stuff, but largely Silver /Bronze comics I'd love to locate the Hot Wheels Batmobiles... they never show....!!Thanks for the show on John & Giant Man... also VERY Cool!!

    Oh that vintage Boglin is fantastic! Never had any of those myself. I've also thought about collecting some Super Powers, can't go wrong with the Batman. Interesting to hear you say you might downsize - is that down to space? or want to focus a little more? Great shop and video 👍

    • @ReeYeesRetroToys
      @ReeYeesRetroToys  4 месяца назад +2

      Thanks for watching buddy! I was just about in shock finding that vintage Boglin in box. As for downsizing, it’s more about focusing. I feel I have too much of lines that are cool, but I don’t really have a connection with. I think I’ll always be a collector, but I’ve slowed way down lately.

    • @VintageToyRush
      @VintageToyRush 4 месяца назад +2

      @@ReeYeesRetroToys Think I'm still at that stage of adding new lines.but at the same time have completely ran out of display space. So it does make you think what is the end game!

    Dude! This store is awesome! The rage cage hulk, hulk bank signed by Lou, carded Hercules, clean firehouse - quality stuff at this place. I love the sp Batman pickup and especially that mad scientist piece! I was obsessed with mad scientist stuff and monster face as a kid! You never see that line at all. Great stuff as always buddy 👏👏

    • @ReeYeesRetroToys
      @ReeYeesRetroToys  4 месяца назад +1

      Thanks man! You probably have all the Hulk stuff at this point, but Johnny will ship if you need something. The Dissect an Alien was one of those “I have to have it” spontaneous buys, especially for 20 bucks. And I fear I’m now on the SP slippery slope. Haha

      @@ReeYeesRetroToys I went down the Super Powers road about 10 years ago and completed a loose and carded set but man did it cost me. I can't imagine what it would cost now but if condition isn't that big of a deal then maybe it isn't so bad to collect. I really wanted near mint examples so I had to pay up.

    Batman is a great figure to start collecting the Kenner Super Powers line with. I hope you get them all! I've never owned a Boglin. I never even found one at a yard sale. They remind me of Madballs in a way. For some reason, I never knew they existed back in the 80s and 90s.

    • @ReeYeesRetroToys
      @ReeYeesRetroToys  4 месяца назад +1

      I was never expecting to own a vintage Boglin in box, especially in this condition. They tend to age and deteriorate like Madballs often do. But I couldn’t pass up the amazing deal he gave me! And yes, those Super Powers are mighty tempting. Haha

      @@ReeYeesRetroToys Here's an IMPORTANT TIP -- only buy Madballs made in Taiwan -- NEVER buy Madballs made in Korea. The Korean ones are the ones that deteriorate.
