This is full vibes of watching Anthony go to a toy shop and buying a basket full of his favorite sealed 80s/90s toys. This is all of us back when we were kids with our birthday money going wild at Toys R Us. Damn nastolgea. Take me back.😢
@@fml2266 what a moronic comment. This is history, these items should be kept pristine and looked after. Kids can find plenty of other stuff to play with than vintage rare collectables.
Sports cards and watches for me, nothing better than splurging on something with your hard earned money. Money really can buy happiness (for a while and with diminishing returns).
We all still have that same kid in us, me it's lego and playing guitar and I collect pokemon cards with my son, it's more for him but I enjoy the time we spend together collecting and building binders
Dude! One word.... WOW! What a haul! Super awesome to find a shop that treats you fair on trade credit and works with you to find what you are looking for. Great shop, great score, and great video!
Rancor Monster. Ages 4 and up. No way that would be a thing today! There was no better time for toys than the '80's! Glad I was there for it. Great finds!
I used to go antiquing at yard sales and swap meets with my mother and watching your videos reminds me of those special times when you found treasure. I appreciate your videos and knowledge!
I love the specific taste you have, and how it has evolved and continues to. Its cool to see someone appriaicate things in this manner. Cheers, I really enjoy watching your videos.
My favorite video to date! I have been watching you for years and love how you have slowly but surely worked your way into a niche you love. Keep being awesome Froggy!
This guy's called "a legend" in this hobby for a reason. He's kind, respectful, and just all around a kid who grew up and can get this stuff now. It's very inspiring. I'm new to the hobby and only own a few figures, but hopefully, I'll find grails at some point.
Absolutely love the fact that you buy locally. Need more RUclipsrs to be like this and support local businesses. Also, that toy store has a lot of good stuff inside, nice pickups. I would go broke with all the items in there
I ended up getting the same R2 at a garage sale. the lady was cleaning out her attic. I ended up only paying 50 dollars. it came with it mint in box with all paper work. also on the plus it works still. loved the video man. keep up the great work.
You are one of the most humble and interesting youtubers i've been subscribed too, I hope you keep it up. In the UK we don't have this sort of demand for these items or these sorts of shops as much, I look forward to your stall at the convention, I hope you get to walk around before hand and record a lot of you selling.
Crown Point Toys & Collectibles is a GREAT store, I'm in Chicago so I trek out to Crown Point when I can to stop by this store, which unfortunately isn't often enough. But every time I've shopped there I've found some great stuff and they have overall some extremely reasonable prices. Plus there's a bunch of other cool stores as well as restaurants and breweries within walking distance or a very short drive so it makes for a fun day trip. I'm hoping to stop through there next week actually! Enjoyed the video, cheers!
Google Lens is a huge blessing when needing to find things. I like the update, you don't have to take a picture no more, you can just click lens and then the button. Can even do a basic Google search with camera. I LOVE IT!
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, if only.....I worked for Toltoys in the 70's and 80's and we imported toys into Australia for wholesalers/retailers. Kenner being one of the major companies we dealt with. Seeing all those Star Wars brings back so many wonderful memories. Imagine if i had kept one of everything but it never even crossed my mind to think of them as an investment. 💰💰💰
I love this idea! What a great way to show people other ways to get deals or better prices on things they want with trade in potential. Great idea and a great job filming it and explaining. Thats why I keep coming here to watch your vids
Oh my goodness Anthony thank you so much for the awesome video! Every time I watch one of your videos it takes me right back to my childhood!! Also always appreciate how kind you are to everyone you come in contact with.
Hi just watched Toy Attics, and you questioned whether you were doing the right thing,I'm Con from Dundee Scotland, who watches all your videos and it's not about you just buying toys,it's about watching someone (you) having so much love and enthusiasm for what you do,that makes your videos so watchable, don't stop and thanks for being you.
I just rewatched the nostalgia business videos last week and was hoping you would do another episode of that but this video gave me similar vibes! Awesome video, keep up the good work!
Hello Anthony, yet again a great day at a toy store, but this time it was all about getting some awesome stuff. 👍 All the best for your upcoming event. Waiting for more.❤
Makes you wonder how rare some of this stuff is when it seems like there’s so many out there sealed. I think in the 90's people started to preserve the toys more than open them unlike in the 70's and 80's. Still very cool to see all these. Seems like this stuff is all in the midwest unlike the two coasts. Anyhow, I wish Elliott went on the trip. Love that kid! He’s so intelligent like his father and mother!
We need more of these! This is an excellent format of video and just a fantastic product. Even going to a store and showing off what they have and some potential comps is cool.
I've slowly gotten back into collecting action figures again and I think it's largely thanks to your videos, man. I've really been digging these vlogs (especially the TMNT/REAL GHOSTBUSTERS is giving me MAJOR nostalgia)
That was the same era I used to play with action figures. I would come up with the most basic plots in my head. The action figures would eventually end up battling each other. Those turtle figures which have the white circular joints are really good. If an arm falls off you can just put it back on. The plastic pin joints on the other hand like with the Power Rangers in Space figures . Once an arm or a leg falls off it is off unfortunately. My all time favorite figures were the Batman and Robin era figures. Even though they did not have the ball joints, these figurines were made very durable. All of the small accessories like swords and plastic suits were pretty cool as well.
I’m so jealous that you guys have so many stores like this. It be great to just walk into one for nostalgia. Love your videos. Hope this investment works out for you!
Love this shop and Crown Point in general. My lady and I drive from Chicago regularly to thrift and eat at Provecho. If you didn’t visit there, I highly recommend making a stop on your next trip.
Omg the ghost popper! I remember opening that at Christmas at my Grandparents house when I was 5. My bro was pissed since he wanted one too lol. What a nostalgia bomb!
the fact that most of the places u go (the ones that are actually quality and know wtf theyre doing) let u just walk/browse thru things like that speaks volumes about u as a person man
This is really cool, I knew there was a market for vintage toys, but I had no idea it was to this extent. Just got this recommended in my feed and it was a very interesting video. Hope you do well selling these for a profit
This is full vibes of watching Anthony go to a toy shop and buying a basket full of his favorite sealed 80s/90s toys.

Damn nastolgea. Take me back.😢
right??? Damn. G1 megatron wow....$600 bucks :O !
Dude, that’s like thinking back and knowing that was the best time of my life 😭🫣
What isnthe name store
yall goofy ahh old af
I never wanted to grow up lol, wanted to be a toys r us kid forever 😂
Those shop owners seem so cool, professional, kind, and love of the trade
If someone buys $5000 of plastic junk from me, I would also be cool, professional and kind. :)
People are cool in the Midwest, I live in Fort Wayne
@schadenfreude6274 junk? 😅 I believe your on the wrong channel sir.
Never ceases to amaze me how vintage Star Wars is just straight up a currency in itself!

@@cotch. and those toys will become like this eventually.
friend got a locker for 25 bucks Had a bunch of 80s toys in the box MY little pony gi joe blackstar thundercats and mask with transformers
The more I watch this the more I realize this is just big kid buying toys because he still loves them. It’s vinyl for me, dude
It's reliving our childhood a time when things were fun!! AND America didn't SUCK like it does now!!.
Sports cards and watches for me, nothing better than splurging on something with your hard earned money. Money really can buy happiness (for a while and with diminishing returns).
Money can buy pleasure but not happiness.. 🤙
For me old vintage jewelry and vinyl…love the old toys tho…Froggy keeps me interested, especially at his garage sales! 😊
We all still have that same kid in us, me it's lego and playing guitar and I collect pokemon cards with my son, it's more for him but I enjoy the time we spend together collecting and building binders
This store is an 80's / 90's kid toy paradise. What an amazing score and a great shop!
Yeah, but if everything is priced staggeringly that penguin figure [$150] I had as a kid, nah.
Dude! One word.... WOW! What a haul! Super awesome to find a shop that treats you fair on trade credit and works with you to find what you are looking for. Great shop, great score, and great video!
Holy moly that’s a lot of crazy vintage toys
For sure!
Rancor Monster. Ages 4 and up. No way that would be a thing today! There was no better time for toys than the '80's! Glad I was there for it. Great finds!
Exactly the 80s was the best time for toys.
John is a great guy!! Known him for many years. Glad you got to visit his store.
@Anthony that looks like it was a lot of fun I just started watching your channel a couple months back I love it!
Great video as always! Hope the wifey is doing good. We share a common thing with both of our wife’s having MS.
Well thanks man, hope yours is doing well too!
Hugs for each of your wives.
Great buys. Paid up for some but you are a collector as well as a reseller. Nice hunting froggy.
OH MAN! I did a lot of pausing on this video. THIS IS WHAT HEAVEN LOOKS LIKE! Those Star Wars AT-ATs on the counter....nostalgia overload!
That penguin took me back! The Batman line from that run was one of my favorites
Nice! I recognized Crown Point from the thumbnail--love that store! I've bought a ton of '90s toys there. The dudes that work there are awesome!
I used to go antiquing at yard sales and swap meets with my mother and watching your videos reminds me of those special times when you found treasure. I appreciate your videos and knowledge!
You have the best vintage toys videos on the American RUclips in my opinion. Thanks for all the videos.

That clown helium tank topper for $50 is awesome! Major nostalgia for me with that.
