JJ invited me out to check out his amazing storage unit find...a vintage TMNT collection from 1988-1991. You won't believe the condition of these amazing pieces. Of course I had to try to buy the whole collection...

Awesome buy you got sad about the guy passing and definitely makes you wonder his plan. Love your admiration for froggy and seeing this go to him I'm a local mid west guy myself and don't know anything about the James bond Jr's but would be interested in those and maybe other weird knick knacks If you got anything left

That's the best condition I've ever seen. Everything looks exactly the same way it did on the shelves at Toy R Us. This was a treat to see.
To be fair they did have it in storage for 3 decades untouched in sure u can do the same go buy something now like the turtles they released this year in the vintage packaging (which cost me $220 bucks last week cuz they dropped the villains finally had the of 4 since like Jan but got me bebop,rockstesdy,shredder,foot soldier ,leather head and krang I wanna display them somehow with each of my original ones next to them ...

Literally a time capsule! Purchased, sealed off and uncovered decades later. I wonder what the original owner was hoping to do with it. So unfortunate he passed before he could reap the rewards of his effort.
Well, storage fees for 30 years is around $10K. In all honesty, he wouldn’t get more than $5K. Not much rewards to be reaped lol
@SunnyDiegoProduction that's crazy cus your right, if he kept everything sealed and in storage seems to me like he had them as an investment but who knows .
Very good point on the storage fees…however, there was more than just a TMNT collection in the unit. Also, we don’t know if other things had been stored and removed in the unit over the decades. Lots of factors to consider.

This one especially got me right in the childhoods 😂 I’m from Scotland and owned most of these as a kid in the early 90’s. Breaks my heart to see how much they’re worth now but I wouldn’t have traded the fun I had playing with them for anything. Great find brother!

It got me too. I was 10 or 11 when the show came out and I was all about TMNT and the toys. The turtlecom was always a favorite and the van. I still have lots of mine but they look like garbage next to this find lol

I was a teen when a lot of these shows/movies were out BUT I watch you because you're respectful of sellers even when to me their stuff will be "junk" to you you're respectful and handle it with care and you have a great work ethic. People like myself see this and like this about you and that is why sellers like him will call on you.
My little brother had that little hand help game. I remember playing that thing for hours in the car when we were heading out and returning from vacation.

Insane haul. Those boxes are gorgeous. I remember in the 90's picking up pretty much any Pokemon stuff I saw on clearance. Stuff keeps resurfacing in my basement. I also remember how hard it was back in the day to find Pokemon, Turtles, and Transformers shirts in adult sizes, and trust me, I always looked for them. Thanks for sharing your haul with us.
will never forget walking down the block to this little thrift shop an old man opened he had the coolest vintage stuff and had lots of pokemon cards all $1 for stacks w Japanese versions. I bought them all best day ever for little me.

People tend to confuse "collector" and "investor" when it comes to this stuff. The way I see it, a collector keeps the stuff for life, an investor keeps following prices with the intent to sell for profit at some point. Anyway, cool stuff, some of the very first action figures I had.

I would have sold them all separately and earned a couple extra grand! I think selling a score like this is one of the best parts! Gets your blood pumping when you sel something for a really good price!! BUT I understand being able to meet and do a deal w froggy flips🐸 is priceless!

This is the Coolest thing I've ever seen lol. I was born in 87 and I was obsessed with TMNT as a kid. I remember playing with the submarine in the bathtub as a kid and driving the turtle van with all my action figures. So nastalgic

If he was going to sell on eBay, which is how he mentioned he sells, between fees and shipping he's probably only clearing about 4k. Putting all that work in to sell everything individually makes the 3k very reasonable from the seller perspective.
