Loved Metal Head. I lost one of his hands in the backseat of my moms car so I had to permanently replace it with the nunchuk attachment.
I was a big collector of these in my childhood. If asked whether I wanted a Nintendo Game or a TMNT toy, I'd always say a TMNT toy. I really liked the various different animal mutants, and once I had all of them I would go through other toy lines (like Toxic Avengers) to search for similar scaled toys that match the feel of the theme. I'd add them in, like dinosaur men, etc.
A top 5 worst tmnt figs would be fun! In terms of like worst stance that is always falling down, worst representation compared to the original depiction, etc.! Great video as always my friend I really enjoyed this!

It’s interesting that because the line up was so big, we each have a different set of figures that give us nostalgia. I never had ray or wing nut but Triceratron was one of my favorites as a kid
Indeed it ran for almost 10 years 🤓
So many memories. I remember removed the tail from my Triceraton out of jealousy of my friend's Mondo Gecko figurine. I had the Wingnut and Screwloose figures and loved them, but it always bothered me that Screwloose was just a hunk of plastic. I remember taking my model paint and trying to paint him and it made things dramatically worse. Same thing with my Muckman and Joe Eyeball figures, although my parents hated them and the mutagen got everywhere.

I stopped collecting TMNT figures in the early 90's . I've never even seen the Cyber Samurai Ralph or the Vampire Donatello .
TMNT was the last toyline I was majorly into before I started to think I was 'too old' to have toys. I wasn't around for the later years of the line and it's so cool to look at some of the figures I've never laid eyes on before.
You've got a great channel, by the way. I've been going through your past stuff. I said I wasn't going to subscribe to any more vintage toy channels, but you got me.

My favorite is Casey Jones. Casey, Donatello and Triceraton were the three I owned as a kid so they'd make my top 5. I'd have to put Muckman and Rahzar in there as well. I do like Sandstorm from later on, especially his magic lamp and flying carpet accessories so he'd be my honorable mention.
I was never big on collecting tmnt figures that weren't the turtles, but man I gotta get that Mutagen Man
I grew up in the 90s, and I just loved seeing the figures for one of my all time favorite cartoons/ kid shows.

Storage shell Raph was my first original figure from TMNT. But I think my number one favourite will be Mutagen Man :).

Movie Star (1990 movie edition) TMNT figures were legendary before marvel legends.

I was a big fan of the figures that came with the mini figures. I remember getting Muckman and Mutagen Man from a yard sale. I used to go with my grandparents every Saturday to check out yard sales as a kid and got a lot of cool toys.
My Favorites were Sgt. Bananas, Ace Duck, Mondo Geeko, Triceraton and Sewer Surfing Mikey.
Man its great to see all these old toys again. I had a bunch as a kid, but in first grade I was laughed at for playing with "boy toys" :( I bet my parents were pissed when I told them to throw them all out.

My favourite was Bebop. The coloration on him was cool. But in Australia he was very hard to find. I finally got him in 1994 when i was 10 years old. I was really happy.

My top 1 is Krang. Not the OG 1 that comes in a gray walker either. But the krang figure that looked like he did in the show. Only the robot he rode in had a MENACING expression in the place of the drerpy one in the show. Hands down my favorite villain to pit my turtle figs against. I also thought it was cool that krang could be removed from his waist.

This is a great list! I always wanted a Supershredder figure after seeing the movie in theaters. I was never able to find one in toy stores.
They did such a great job making him look as intimidating as possible in that movie 🤠
I stopped collecting Turtles in 1992.
I had a really huge collection, which I gave away to my shame.
It was one of those mistakes that annoys you for a lifetime.
Anyway, recently I've been enjoying the Movie Turtles from NECA.
The nostalgic impact is so extreme for me as a 40 year old that I have to have them all.
So I'm back in the game.
Edit: My favorite figure at the time was Usagi Yojimbo
Almost the same story here, except I sold mine in a garage sale, promising myself I would replace them if my kids liked them and I did this summer cost me a fortune

We have a few favorites in common. I lost interest in TMNT around 1992, so I missed out on some of the later ones.
Nice! I had Cyber Samurai Raph (And Mikey and Shredder), Muckman, Ray Fillet, Mutagen Man, Triceriton, and Napoleon Bonafrog. I really wanted Super Shredder, but never got him lol.
I got Cyber Michaelangelo when I was a kid, also missing a hand :D. My favourite lines are the Universal Monsters and Cave Turtles.

Bananas, Mike the Sewer Surfer , Undercover Don , Touchdown Tossin Leo, Punkrock Donatello but with Heavy Metal Raph’s guitar , Tattoo , Samurai Leo & Casey Jones . Also always loved the little fly guy that came with Napoleon Bonafrog

On the day our local drug store decided to start selling Turtles figures, I was maybe the first kid see the new display, I went through ALL of them, took 20mins and found 1 Super Shredder! I remeber hiding him and Mondo Gecko. Never did get Mondo, but I was the only one of all my friends that had Super Shredder, so awesome. I had mutagen man also, and a Red Dragon whos neck would extend. I didn't have many figures, but I did have that Triceratops also, guess I had a lot of the really good ones. My personal favorite was space suit Raph.
So, I don’t know if you collected them, however, a GREAT list would be the top 20 or top 10 X-Men figures from toy biz. The original runs of the toy biz figures in the mid and early 90’s KEPT me and my grandma at the mall (thank goodness I had a grandma who loved being on the go and shopping as much as I did! RIP grandma jo you were AMAZING!). I remember specifically what I lovingly refer to as “the gambit hunt” where we went to damn near every available local toy store in our area (and some that were out of our area too!) to look for Gambit. Finally after Two MONTHS of hunting our local mall got them in and boy was I a happy camper! I was so excited that I was almost running to the register to pay before my grandma said “you should look at what else they have now just in case because it might save us a trip”. So after investigation of her comment (y’know making sure that she was okay and that I wasn’t being overly zealous and just dragging her around to places that she didn’t want to be [which she assured me that I wasn’t, thank God] and over exerting her) I took her advice and boy was I EVER glad she said something! I found cable and a new wolverine and I even bought what I thought was just a random villain for them to fight by the name of tusk. Man when I played with those figures the first time with my friends I was on cloud nine! Also tusk just happened to be one of THE COOLEST figures in the whole x-men line! Once I found out (years later) that tusk was a horseman and servant of apocalypse I was even more delighted as I made a random pick that had a great connection with the comics! These things and memories around these figures and those days are some of the reasons why I look so fondly at the X-Men line from toy biz in the 90s. Looking at the actual product, they made some very unique and interesting toys that had accessories and actions that no other figures had up until that point. Toy biz was a real innovator when it came to action figures (I mean they made the first multi posable spider man figure that had over 10 points of articulation!) and they set standards that reverberate to this day in the action figure world. I would really love to hear other people’s stories about their favorite figures from this line and their experiences growing up playing with and collecting these figures.

Loving the NECA Turtle line
Wow....I can't believe how many of these I had as a kid....I hope they are in my parents attic.....if I'm lucky.
I liked the most basic dark and evil characters with all my toys haha. I was a Cobra kid not a Joe kid. For TMNT I did have triceratron because I liked his gun, I can appreciate these sculpts a lot more now!

The movie series figures were cool. Tokka, Razar, Super Shredder and the turtles. Always liked Leatherhead and Slash. Mondo Gecko, Napoleon Bonafrog, Chrome Dome, Groundchuck....

That number 1 choice shows, based on what you said, what a global impact the Turtles had. The shell storage feature can be found in more recent versions too.

Mutagen man, Muckman, Metalhead and Slash are my all time favorites. What about a top ten of Tmnt vehicles?

If you like the Triceritons, they were featured pretty heavily in the latter part of the TMNT 2012 show. Probably most accurate to their comic book depiction.

My favorites when I was a kid were Ace Duck, Metal Head, & Mutagen Man. I usually liked the characters' representations in the Mirage & Archie Comics better the cartoon though. Oh, and I got the SDCC exclusive of glow in the dark Baxster Stockman by Super 7 a couple of months ago.
