- For this video we did what some might refer to as an @AmagansettPress style video , where we documented outside various shops & restaurants, capturing the vibe for the community. Compared to other visits I've made to this beachside city, overall it was a pleasant day . An employee from a clothing store, did express some customer concerns with my presence outside with my cameras. Just before that Sidewalks22 encountered an individual who seemed decent enough with being cordial, yet still curious about the purpose of why we were recording.

Most written communication is electronic. There are plenty of reasons to lament the state of education or “kids these days” blah blah, but penmanship certainly isn’t one of them. I haven’t put pen to paper in years, except to perhaps sign my name. I’m nearly 50. 🙄

My other pet peeve: Not really the shops fault, more the city’s , stop putting outdoor cafes/tables at the curb! If you are going to Permit shops to have use of the public sidewalk, it should be only allowed for up to a maximum of 50% of the sidewalk width and only against the business exterior wall.
Not at the wall AND at the curb forcing pedestrians to have to walk thru your rude customers. Especially since the servers are back and forth obstructing the public sidewalks.

No drama, but a fascinating series of interactions. Fair play to... Adelyne? She stayed positive and didn't push the issue. Beardy Liquidlunch got a little intense, but did seem genuinely interested in what was going on. Even Saccharine Stacey kept it to a request rather than a directive. And it was great to see that the jewellery store from the previous video seems to have learned the lesson.
Having never been to California, I enjoy your content and how you show daily life on the streets and sidewalks. It's exactly what I would want to experience if I were to visit.
