"They're Feeling Uncomfortable That You're Filming Them"

- For this video we decided to do some public documenting throughout this shopping & dining district. Weather was great the morning we were out there. We were met with curiosity & some thought it was creepy. Plenty of folks walking their dogs & to no surprise, the dogs didn't take issue with us or our cameras. Although some seemed to have an issue, they didn't press it any further .

“Documenting people with piss poor attitudes”……my new favorite response
When a employee says "you're making our customers uncomfortable" - ask "why, are they embarrassed to be seen patronizing your business?"
Perfect response
awesome comeback....
I would say that's on them, not me.
😆😆😆😆😆
Why ? Are they goofing off on the clock ?
Apparently citizens are brainwashed into thinking public cameras are illegal...How and when did this happen?
The CCP has been calling it the dumbing down of America for yrs. It’s worked for many Americans. Remember when they all ran out to get the government clot shots ? Well 600 thousand have died so far.
Bragging on her single digit IQ. She should rethink that. Lol

I've never seen a video of more overly concerned Karens per square foot as this one. Must be something in the water.
The air! Chem trails ✈️
or self-conscious sin in the soul
It’s liberal central!
Itchy pantiliners...
"Can you point to the area on the dolly where the camera makes you feel uncomfortable?"
😂😂😂
"Where did the bad camera hurt you?"
LOL
They will point to the butt cause they are butthurt.
Rogue Nation.
I find it absolutely shocking and appalling that a fellow American citizen thinks they can have someone removed from a public area. These are the worst types of people! Another great video! Thank you for doing what you do.
I ate too many tacos last night. I’m feeling “uncomfortable”
I'm calling the police
It’s scary how many people think that discomfort is a crime. Always a one way crime. Complainers, whiners and commanders make everyone uncomfortable. So do cops
Freedom can be very uncomfortable
"I'm documenting people with piss-poor attitudes, like you!" Classic! You are the GOAT!
Tell them to please stop feeling uncomfortable because that's making me feel uncomfortable.
Bingo.
Imagine being so powerful that you can just call somebody to have people removed
The best one I ever heard in person was, from a security guard, ‘it’s actually against the law to film anything in New Zealand’ haha, Ive got a RUclips short of it up.
How are restaurants permitted to clog up a public sidewalk with their dinning room? They obviously own or rent the building but they don't own the sidewalks. Do they pay sidewalk rent to the taxpayers?
I was wondering the same thing
My guess is a city permit.
You got your thinking backward on this.
They or their landlord probably actually do own the sidewalk space, and that probably has an easement on it for public use.
Someone can't build on an easement space that they own, but they can still use it, though the city probably made them get a permit to.
In truth, it's probably not them clogging up the sidewalk, but instead, it's the public clogging up their property by way of a public right of way easement.
@@J.Green-Rx- it’s ‘possible’, but typically it’s the city’s property which the city issues permits to use.
I agree with your thought that it’s ’publicly accessible’ but I’d hazard a guess that it’s owned & maintained by the city, not the stores.
Now for some of the shops with larger sidewalk areas, some under canopies, that could be part of the store’s property. But definitely not all of it.
Even the older areas that had ownership all the way to the street, the city Appropriates the property (a nominal fee generally paid by way of tax rebate), making the area public.
@@dericksmith2137
So it depends on the location and municipality.
Guess some digging would have to be done to know then.
Meh. I prefer definitive. Oh, well.
😅😂 I guess these idiots will never learn... That they are the story.. And just leave you alone..
Once I manage full control of myself I’ll start working on controlling others. I can’t get over how many people can’t mind their own business.
I refuse to be told what to do by a dog waiter. Another bowl of water please garcon.
Irony: people willingly filmed by 100's of corporate cameras where they only reveal private information each day are okay but one private camera in public space and they feel uncomfortable.
Sip, where you from? Sip, can I watch it? Sip. Why this place? Sip,sip, sip
Glad I’m not the only one who noticed that/ that was painful to watch
@@Ryan-jy5rkHe was so smug and insufferable.
Do you remember the faces of all the dozens of people who ignored you and went about their day? Neither do I.
What a GRAND missed opportunity for the grand opening! They had a camera and could have had a very nice free commercial for their store. They blew it!
These people will film themselves doing the most mundane things and post it on the internet, and then complain a camera makes them uncomfortable.
It's a strange world we live in.
So true!
Imagine if the people Monet painted were uncomfortable on the sidewalk cafes of Europe. We wouldn’t have those beautiful paintings in art museums today.
very good observation ...."can you point that paintbrush away from me please, i dont give you permission to immortalize me in a museum" LOL
Great retort.
"Congress shall make no law, unless someone feels uncomfortable"
Give up your liberties, and you can forget about the pursuit of comfort, let alone happiness.
Lady flips the bird. Thanks, lady. How did you know I was just about to ask what your iQ was?
Most people say it’s ’creepy’ or it’s ‘uncomfortable’, or it’s ‘weird’. They’re leaving out one VERY important aspect…
It’s PERFECTLY LEGAL.
And really, it’s none of those. The word they’re looking for is peculiar. Creepy or weird would apply to someone hiding around a corner or in the bushes. Maybe parked in their car and snapping photos or recording. But to be standing on a sidewalk in broad daylight, it’s just peculiar. What’s creepy and weird is the entitlement people have thinking their feelings are superior to public photography.
@@EweCantHandletheTruth
Or unusual, which it is, still FAR from being illegal.
Perfectly legal or not it's this nonsense that turns the general public against the 'auditor' movement. Cop blocking, cop watching and holding Gov't officials accountable has a useful purpose. Harassing small businesses and private citizens is counter productive.
@@catskill49murphy27 I would agree that F.A.R. would be more productive in choosing more relevant subjects to film such as cops, police stations, post offices, city halls and the like. However I disagree with your term ‘harassment’. They aren’t going up to anyone. The public is walking up to their cameras. They aren’t speaking to anyone unless the public speaks first.
@@catskill49murphy27 Harassing small business's when the business comes out onto the PUBLIC sidewalks and set up tables for people to eat at, How assuming !!!
Great video for a Saturday morning!! You do a great job keep up the fantastic work
Yes.
Thank you ! Have a great weekend ☺👍❤📷📱🇺🇸
Thank you for the audit
Phone must be ringing off the hook at the police station . So funny ! 😅❤
Why would you go up to a person on the sidewalk and tell them that can't take pictures it absolutely baffles me ..I wouldn't care one bit love the video Chris ❤
Thanks for tuning in to the channel 😉👍❤📷📱🇺🇸
Uneducated people do uneducated things
How can they do it? Because it's legal first amendment right.
10:50 Chad Hipster: "Oh, I don't care."
Narrator: "But Mr Chad Hipster absolutely _did_ care."
Secret camback from the couple with the dog. She clearly took a picture. He clearly loves the attention.
once again we have america, the most uncomfortable, nosy, intrusive, country on the planet
Thank you so much for that comment. spot on🤮
Land of the free, brave and paranoid. And most of them have never been abroad. But it must be the best. Good propaganda.
Would have to disagree. In most other countries, public photographers and journalists are beaten and jailed. An Iranian rapper was just sentenced to death for writing a song that was negative about the Iranian regime. A lot of other countries simply don't have the rights we have as citizens. It's just sad so many don't know about them.
@@danwebster7592 Another victim of good ol' american propaganda. There are 195 countries in the world. And Usa is the only "good" one, baha ha haaaaa...
@@danwebster7592 I guess Edward Snowden and Julian Assagne needs to hear this info.

You're a good reader.
*Shaggy from Scooby Doo holding the dog at the **12:30** mark is complaining about photography without written permission all the while his girlfriend right behind him is doing exactly that, taking their photos without permission. They hypocrisy in this world is astounding. It seems everyone's personal rule is "I can do it but you can't". What's going on here? Aside from that he's either awfully thirsty or very very nervous.*

Haha yup, the coffee drinking and movement was a dead giveaway of his true intentions with the questions, which he then let spill as he walked away haha classic.

Yup! I peeped that as well!
"I'll have somebody remove you" like you're garbage. Yet, you remain calm and level. I don't know how you do it. Thank you. I never miss one of your videos.
I appreciate you & your support davesringo 😉👍❤📷📱🇺🇸
Same, i clicked the channel to see if I’d ever missed any the other day, and every single video has a red line under it. Perfect score haha
I love your "grab a camera" response to so-called "help" offers! And then of course _they don't _*_really_*_ wanna help,_ do they? Nooo, of COURSE they don't!
Mr. Coffee Man is a nervous drinker. Sips every 5 seconds to cover his embarrassment.

"Piss Poor Attitude"......Awesome response ha.
I've designed a shirt that says

If you pretend to be homeless and crap on the street, they will come out and give you a hot meal and 20 bucks. 🤣
Haha yup 100%.
Don't they realise it free advertising for them saying that they r so stupid
"Can I help you?" = WTF are you doing?
"I don't care"= I care a lot and I think I'm entitled to answers!!!
I'm glad you finally give people shit back when they are rude to u
re: bank employee - "My favorite big booty Latina".
AOC!
I still have no idea why people working in a store would even give an actual eFF if someone is outside on the sidewalk recording. Or why store managers think anyone they can call has the authority to have them removed. Cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs!
Dude keeps hittin' that coffee like a crack pipe.
"I'm documenting people with piss poor attitudes, like you." Perfect.
I just arrived home from Walmart 40 minutes ago.
They have two very wide isles with self check out on both sides of the isles.
The first section is now all changed to 15 items or less. The 2nd aisle are all unmarked. I proceeded to one of the three available checkout machines. And when I got to four items the girl came over to tell me sorry these were 15 items or less. She blocked my access to the scanner telling me again, these were 15 or less. I informed her they were not marked that way and I would continue. She got up into my face less than a foot away blocking my body. I told her if she touched me I would call the police. That, unless they were marked as such, I would continue. She told me the signs had not been put up yet. I told her I would observe the signs after they were put up and to please remove her body or get your supervisor. I'm sorry sure that's the store policy. I informed her store policy needs to be in writing… I see no such writing or sign. If you want to make an issue out of this, I would be happy to oblige... otherwise, move out of my way! She again repeated the same thing a number of times.
I would not give in even though she now said, oh, this machine has stopped working now. (I saw her deactivate it) fine, I'll move over to the machine right in back of this lady that is working! She was totally pissed.
I told her unless she wanted all other customers to hear this conversation, she had better move out of the way… She was threatening me! When I stood in back of this other customer, she had returned from talking to someone and turn the machine back on in told me to continue.
Oh was I ever ready!

Well done yall ❤❤❤
Chris I'm so glad you collaborate with others. Too many crazies out there. Strength in numbers. Stay safe .
You always seem to find the most ignorant people, thank you for everything you do! Also, it’s a trip how these businesses don’t utilize free advertising, instead… they make themselves look bad. And the video will out live all of us.
Thank you
This fear of cameras is extremely rampant in Canada too! I love doing sidewalk tours with my video camera
The entitlement level of most Gen Zers never ceases to amaze me.
@@Plutogalaxy Not even CLOSE to being right.
"Thankfully for us, there's no film in our cameras!"
Heheh, yep, right!
When these childish Karens and Darrens tell you they're uncomfortable. Tell them I don't furnish butt hurt creams. You have to buy your own.
I really dont get when they walk up to the camera then say get that camera out my face
People who are not comfortable being seen in public should stay at home. Not to be seen!
It looks the dog place has a grand opening sign....You would think they would be thrilled for the free marketing and the chance to introduce their new business.
The message to the public would be: "Photography is not a crime; it is a Constitutionally protected activity, granted to The People, by the 1st Amendment".
That's a good one "I'm documenting people with piss poor attitudes" ❤❤❤❤❤
Tell them you're doing a online magazine promoting the local area and businesses to potential tourists. How do they want to portray themselves?
employee comes out hot...."stop filming our store"
video person...."oh what a shame we were doing a travel vlog for the area for hundreds of thousands of viewers, you had a great opportunity to promote your store in a positive WELCOMING light, guess everyone will know that is not the case "
employee...light clicks on upstairs....." wait wait...oh come on in , let us show you around"
video....too late, we show first responses only
That would mess up the intent of most auditors… only Armengansett Press tells them
Other peoples feeling don’t change my rights. The guy with the cute dog apparently doesn’t own a hair brush. Looks like he just got out of bed.
At 17:05, the protest organizer told you that you need a message, then went on to explain your message. He left oblivious to his own comments. He also opened his remarks with suspicion "What do you have against FedEx? That looks like a man who is focused on his own opinion only.
Handing out free education, one person at a time. Thank you again for the hard work! I hate to break it to these people, but this is the USA, not North Korea. If they want 100% security they’re welcome to move to NK right now

Putting a restaurant on a public sidewalk and expect not to be looked at
"HAIR BUNS SUUUUUK."😂😢😮
What makes people think they can walk up to a stranger and demand to know what they are doing??
It's called the 1st amendment
When I feel uncomforable I just fart and I feel better. Suggest they try that.
"I don't care" while clenching his butt harder than he ever has.
If I didn't know better, I would think the sense of entitlement you encountered in so many people in public was unique to California, but I do know better. It is rampant throughout our country. Maybe it's rampant throughout the world.
Is there a vaccine for “uncomfortable”? A lot of people in the US have it although it does not appear to be contagious.
Someone needs to tell these restaurant owners that, if they choose to bring their business out onto a public sidewalk, they can’t expect any level of privacy. 21:30
I'm feeling uncomfortable. 😢
Very classy work, as usual OUTSTANDING !!!
LOL, "protecting the dog's 'privacy'," haha, "cute"! 😝
You could mention to the guy from the pet store that you have heard secondhand that video surveillance cameras in the area are showing up on social media. Would you like to comment on whether or not your security video is being posted to the Internet because mine definitely will be. Additionally you could mention to some people who ask you why your videoing, because there are certain celebrities here that have somewhat of a disguise on and you were standing behind one and didn't realize it a few minutes ago. I'm not at liberty to discuss who it was.
Thats been said in a few audits already

Businesses which display sandwich board signs obviously believe that the public sidewalks belong to them.
Brilliant reply when the gal asked you if she could help you with anything & you said she could help film. 😂 I about peed myself laughing!!
Then when you told the snooty gal off ... that was also GOLD!! 🤣
Thx for doing what you're doing - however, the filming of ppl while they're eating is unnerving - but I get it!! 👍

07:10 Deranged behavior.
I felt so uncomfortable being around these uncomfortable people in SoCal that I moved East!
That final restaurant was the one where a couple of other auditors were attacked recently. I recognize the wooden covers.
Haha, "the general consensus is: I don't care!" Nice comeback!
People are uncomfortable ! Say " Would you like me to get them some soft chairs to they are more comfortable " ?
Restaurant #356 on You Tube that I've watched where restaurants place their tables out on a public right of way (sidewalk)
When they say they’re feeling uncomfortable, tell them to take Pepto-Bismol
People can’t stand not getting their way, it’s pathological. What gives doggy boy the idea that he is owed answers? He’s already decided why you’re there and why you’re assholes. It doesn’t matter what the truth is.
He doesn't have the right to get an answer but he has the right to ask.
All that discomfort must mean all those dogs have fleas. Why so so many people think they have the right to question you and demand an answer and why do they think they can tell you what to do.
I loved it when that female started to cuss at you, and you replied to her sometimes like this especially when people have a piss poor attitude towards the public 👍👍👍👍🤣🤣🤣🤣
Need a t-shirt with " your discomfort does not overturn my rights"🤘🤘🤘🇦🇺
I have the right to offend you!
good sentiment but i would substitute the word trump with something else....you just know that will bring the political crazies on both sides down on the video person....people only see what they want ...
