Thanks for this review Billy, this would be a deal breaker for me. I do like the color and looks but I do not want something I have to catch and take off from my hand. Had two bad experiences doing just that. Once I grabbed my MJX Bugs 3 mini as it was about head level and it cut the hell out of my left index finger. Another was with my Traxxax Aton but luckily it did not get my fingers. Based on what the 3 mini did the Aton would have amputated a couple of fingers so no hand catching for me anymore. IMO this is a dangerous practice.

Good advice Billy, I used to kill the motors on a "Toy" drone and catch it in free fall. 10'-15'. I would also take off from my head using a scull cap. Mad hatters would be funny. Peace!

Hi Billy- quick question. I just hand-caught my Skydio 2 for the first time yesterday and the propellers "spun up" for a second after it landed in my hand. I'm accustomed to this with my MavicPro, but since the battery is only held on by magnets I had visions of it pulling itself off the battery. Does this normally happen or did I mess up the hand catch a little (perhaps by moving a bit after it landed)? Thanks!
