Thanks Billy for the great tips.......... I have a tip for Skydio; You folks need to take a good strong look at BK's video's on your S2. You should try putting the beacon on a Mavic 2 pro or maybe something bigger like the Inspire2 and see if it can track it. I think you could get some cool shots.

Thanks for the video. So, granted what you stated regarding the beacon, would this drone be a “No Go” for tracking a person while they are surfing? Also, would the size of the drone prohibit it from being used on beaches?

Hi body. I am truck driver. And today try to track my rig. That’s why i got it. But big truck this dron absolutely das’t wont to track. Lost it every second. Any idea. Mavic track it without any problem. Very disappointed this dron. Will call to customer service

One thing I have yet to find the answer to is what happens when your flying and a call comes in or something that could potentially interrupt the connection? I am thinking one should put their phone in do not disturb mode? Or is this necessary?
I always put my phone in do not disturb when flying because it’s just annoying to deal with notifications - but if you do get a call it won’t mess anything up, don’t worry.
Dude, this is all good stuff , but I would like to use this drone to track my son on his wakeboard. You keep mentioning to keep the beacon in your hand, but he can't do that on a wakeboard unless it's waterproof, which I doubt it is. I will have to keep it in the boat with me while he is 70ft behind the boat. Will I be able to use it for this? Boat wakeboard speed is about 23mph.
@billykyle Love your vids! What type of ND lenses do you use on the Skydio again? I thought I saw it in one of your vids but couldn't remember which one.
In addition to my last question. Does the drone follow the beacon, or can I circle a subject on my phone screen and have it follow that? Sorry, but there is not very much about this drone available.
Watch few videos where the Skydio2 had some seriously scary issues while in follow mode with the beacon..and one video where the drone took a nose dive in a lake. I just completed my Batch1 order yesterday and I am kinda having some second thoughts... That being said has Skydio come up with an answer regarding the water dive??
Does everybody only track themselves? The last person I want to track is me. What would be the best way to track my kid on a wakeboard while I am in the boat with a phone and a beacon? Skydio should make a waterproof wristband with a GPS tracking chip in it. If that was available I would have bought one already.
Hi do you know how it works under 10 degrees? For example snowboarding in winter at - 15 it still work good? I just saw that the battery works from - 5 to 40 degrees so what's Going on under - 10??
Does the 8 foot height floor maintain its reference regardless of elevation change? I'm in batch 3 pre-order, but may be early next year with all the cancellations.

Hello, I have a Samsung Note20 5G phone, the Skydio app has been installed without problems, but I can't do the optical motion track, when the drone sees me, or sees a car, a bike, or a group of people, it applies a "+" on each of them, but if I click on them, nothing happens, the spinning trail I’m expecting to see, does not appear around the subject, So I’m missing the best features of the skydio, orbit, dronie etc., only the cable mode works, to be motion-tracked I must do it on the beacon ... does anyone else have this issue?
I got mine this last week and I hate it already. im in the middle of the dessert no trees riding my bike on jumps. The area is very small. Loses me every time. So disappointing
Hello.. u should put the becon with velcro to ur mavic 2 and check if the scadio 2 will track it ..

Think the Beacon needs more features. Like a one button height floor on/off.

Those blue marks on trees are not anyhow related to this test I guess?
Tracking around trees without leaves is the absolute worst place to fly a Skydio 2
