Third part of my Pokemon X Community Egglocke where Twitch Chat got to submit custom made eggs to a save file of Pokemon X for me to hatch!
Additional Rules:
Only one egg per Route
If a Pokemon faints it's dead
No Item use in battle
No overleveling the next gym leader
Must match gym leaders team size
Chat votes out Pokemon after gym fights and when they hit sub goals

Jan, watching you and starting my own nuzlockes has upped my Pokemon showdown game significantly and I cannot thank you enough
Just curious, what aspects of nuzlocking translate well over to showdown?
@@nayeem7322 Learning the importance of certain moves, what plays good against another, learning to play trickier
@@nayeem7322 Just learning unconventional move sets and strategies and which pokemon counter/check other specific pokemon I think.
Also recently on twitch he's been streaming Radical Red (FireRed Hack) which has Smogon rules in battle, competitive teams for most NPCs, resources for min/maxing your own pokemon, level caps, and improved AI to create like a showdown experience inside a GBA Rom. It's super fun you should def try it out.
Dunno about that. I dont think you can transfer any skills from a playthrough onto competitive battling vs humans.
He offers insight to situations you don't often catch yourself in so when you do catch yourself in a situation is such you already have a reference to go off of for what your strategy should be. Also stall tactics were not something I ever thought would be fruitful in online competition there are certain Pokemon moves and abilities you don't think are useful until you see them work. He is phenomenal at nuzlocke he has a font of information that he willingly shares with anyone who watches as long as they're willing to listen. Overall very insightful plus his energy is great and I love watching his videos period which doesn't really have anything to do with getting better at online competitive play but at the same time learning how to read AI also teaches you how to read people in the sense that you learn what to expect when they play

One of the best parts about your channel is you make exactly what the channel name says. You make some of the most creative pokemon challenges I've ever seen and always make them extremely entertaining with your easy going commentary. Hey mister challenges, I just saw an episode of your Sword/Shield nuzlock where you 'complained' about the tounament at the end being sort off rushed and that you would have prefered it if the tounament was more involved in the story. Well there is a fangame named: Pokemon Legends of the Arena where that is the exact storyline. There are no gyms but instead you have to trav3l from town to town in order to partake in a nation wide tournament. The story is great, there are a lot of funny moments, a responsive and sarcastic protagonist and some other great characters as well. It's a gen 4 style game with the pokemon from generations 1-4 (with some rare gen 5 mons sprinkled about). And it has some modified movesets and evolution mechanics. I'd really like to see you do a challenge run of this game, just to see you experience this awesome game.

this is an egg locke lol people can hatch an egg and see its a shiny then reload a old save and send it (or also just hack it cause oras can be action replayed on both cart and emulators, i used to make pokemon shiny or edit ivs or change a ball a pokemon was in for my friends often when i played competitively back then)
