ritchie blackmore is so underrated in terms of the riffs he made.
Very underrated song writer as well.
Deep purple is a synonimous of good riff. Everyone who listened to them knows it.
Ritchie is the most discrete and introverted guitar hero of all times :)
Some people say that he didn't invent his own original guitar style like others "guitar heroes".
But these riffs are original enough.
@@janbalaban5268 some of them are "stolen", but he says outloud which ones he stole, unlike Jimmy Page. His style is the most important thing, but his soloing is wonderful

How could you do their top 10 without Mistreated? One of the greatest riffs of all time.
Ritchie Blackmore is a genius of rock riffs, in my opinion he is one of the greatest guitarists that rock has produced without a doubt.
Mistreated,child in time, sometimes I feel like I screaming, rapture of the deep, the battle rages on also are great songs with amazing riffs

Great to see Cut Runs Deep in there, as that's a good but overlooked riff. Fire in the Basement's another interesting one. Nice touch with the "omission" of Smoke. :)

Pretty much spot on. No doubt that Burn is Blackers best riff ever.
You can't pinpoint one best Blacker's riff...In DP, maybe Burn but riffs like Mistreated or Black Night are also top contenders...
Don't even get me started on Rainbow, where every riff is a masterpiece in my honest opinion...

Probs the production. Deep purple songs sound really dated thanks to the production. I'm a 17 year old who loves 70s and 80s Rock and I like deep purple, but feel like I would love them if there music got a good remaster. I find myself listening to more 80s Rock just coz the production is so much better, even though I sometimes prefer the 70s stuff
@@Luca-bv5ic The production is fucking amazing on all of their albums. "In rock" was purposefully made in that production style which made it extremely unique and not sound like just your average hard rock band. And after that the production on "Burn" is just spectacular. "Sail Away" is a good example
