Ritchie is the most discrete and introverted guitar hero of all times :) Some people say that he didn't invent his own original guitar style like others "guitar heroes". But these riffs are original enough.
@@janbalaban5268 some of them are "stolen", but he says outloud which ones he stole, unlike Jimmy Page. His style is the most important thing, but his soloing is wonderful
I love The Gypsy, great riff. Also, Hard Loving Man, Pictures of Home, Demon's Eye, Maybe I'm a Leo, Sometimes I Feel like Screaming, there are so many great ones
Annika Offermann difficult top... money, sheep, in the flesh, another brick in the wall, interstellar overdrive, have a cigar, shine on you crazy diamond, run like hell and more...
Hush? Gypsy? Sail Away? Mad Dog? Anya? Mistreated? Space Truckin'? Strange Kind of Woman? Woman from Tokyo? Fireball? Sure, you can't fit all of them in one top 10 list, but come on! Someof these are must-haves...still liking the video because of the little Smoke on the Water _burn_ at the end...
I don't know why so many guitar players play that Burn riff wrong?!? First note (and also some following) is NOT open d-string and open g-string. It is low g (3rd fret on low e-string) played with the thumb. Just watch some Blackmore-videos.
Probs the production. Deep purple songs sound really dated thanks to the production. I'm a 17 year old who loves 70s and 80s Rock and I like deep purple, but feel like I would love them if there music got a good remaster. I find myself listening to more 80s Rock just coz the production is so much better, even though I sometimes prefer the 70s stuff
@@Luca-bv5ic The production is fucking amazing on all of their albums. "In rock" was purposefully made in that production style which made it extremely unique and not sound like just your average hard rock band. And after that the production on "Burn" is just spectacular. "Sail Away" is a good example
Richie Blackmore and Tony iommi my fav 2 Guitarists. No one talks about his riffs in burn album. It's so good. Mistreated and sail away one of the bests ever
Bellisomo paesan. Thank you for all the smiles and showing me what fun guitar is when practiced. I enjoy it as much as you do playing them. As a newly ventured guitarist I would choose all the licks too( maybe enjoy playing them as well someday)
Thank You just to include Smoke ... at the end like this, very short, funny ! For me Woman From ... should have been included. A Top 10 Rainbow please ?
Great to see Cut Runs Deep in there, as that's a good but overlooked riff. Fire in the Basement's another interesting one. Nice touch with the "omission" of Smoke. :) PS UFO!
Two of those riffs were "inspired" from anothers riffs. Black Night from The Blues Magoos' - (We Ain't Got) Nothin' Yet(from 60's) . Smoke On The Water from Carlos (aka Carlinhos) Lyra's - Maria Moita (from 60's). And Child In Time from It's A Beautiful Day - Bombay Calling...
Now a top 10 fender Stratocaster singlecoils (sss) edition can be Hendrix, Blackmore, Robin Trower, Europe ( records wings of tomorrow full album and the final countdown ) both on Stratocaster recorded.
Really good job you did there my friend. I really liked your playing style, the choice of riffs (to be honest, it was a surprise that you played "The cut runs deep" riff and i give all my credits for the choice) but most of all, i liked the passages you used to get from riff to riff. Well done mate, you won a subscriber 😁
I would like to see you rip into some Foghat, Thin Lizzy, The Kinks, Dire Straits, or even Humble Pie, Frampton, Joe Walsh/James Gang, or do you even know the wizardry guitar of Cry of Love, or could you dare to try some Badlands--one of my all-time favs!
Great giutar works . To follow the master of rock its not easy. I really appreciate you that solos of deep perple, thankyou for shareing this vedeo. Vincent la,valletta malta.
Hi Danilo ! great perfomance ! Could you explain that magnetic rods on your guitar pick ups some are flat with the surface and some are outstanding of pickup plastic cover ?
What Top 10 should I do next?? Top voted comment will win!! 🤘🏻
Danilo Vicari Top 10 Queen riffs plizz
Queen or ZZ Top
Top 10 Audioslave riffs
Iron maiden!
Thin Lizzy :D
I never get tired of the riff for Burn.
My favorite song by them.
ritchie blackmore is so underrated in terms of the riffs he made.
Very underrated song writer as well.
Deep purple is a synonimous of good riff. Everyone who listened to them knows it.

@@unacuentadeyoutube13 I agree. He's got his own guitar style. Not while making riffs, but in his solos. No one sounds like him.
Long live Ritchie Blackmore !
i’m glad this was actually the best riffs and not the most famous
Hahaha..funny the face at the end: "I forget something but i dont know what it is".
😂
:-)
Top 10 do Rainbow
Vinícius de Souza yes
Great job with DP. Now some Rainbow would be nice.
Vinícius de Souza YES plz
Vinícius de Souza Czyżby polak? I think Im dont make mistake, but we all makes mistakes

Does no one else like Woman From Tokyo but me? I think it’s a cool riff.
Yeeees I like the riff definitely
Yup it's cool
xNimrod97x i love it
Whole songs great lol
Yes, it should definitly be there.
Ritchie Blackmore is a genius of rock riffs, in my opinion he is one of the greatest guitarists that rock has produced without a doubt.
How could you do their top 10 without Mistreated? One of the greatest riffs of all time.
Some riffs I would've included were Woman From Tokyo, Space Trucking and Child In Time but this was still really damn well done
i agree
Child In Time was probably excluded because the riff is more associated with keyboard than guitar.
@@Cabamacadaf Interesting
Yep agree.
I wish Sail Away was on here, that's gotta be my favorite Deep Purple riff hands down.
Tis the greatest Purple song, and the most underrated
I agree. Great riff, great song
It sounds more like Stevie Wonder's song even though I'm not superstitious..lol 😆😅😂
Yes!!!!
Sail away and mistreated are the best
I love The Gypsy, great riff. Also, Hard Loving Man, Pictures of Home, Demon's Eye, Maybe I'm a Leo, Sometimes I Feel like Screaming, there are so many great ones
I was dazed when I didn't see Space Truckin' here...
But that's a great and nice video!)
Mistreated, child in time, sometimes I feel like I screaming, rapture of the deep, the battle rages on also are great songs with amazing riffs
Child in time is more of an organ riff
top ten riff
judas priest
Yes
기타좋아하니? ㅋㅋ
Very surprised and excited to see The Cut Runs Deep! It is, as it's name says, a deep cut. Love it!
And the voice of JLT just killer song
Kudos to you for having ultimately included Smoke On The Water (probably the single greatest riff in all of rock music) in this wholesome segment.
How about Top 10 AC/DC (Bon Scott era)
Top 10 70’s Aerosmith
hm I wonder if there is going to be Smoke On The Water in the list
* not in the normal list *
oh well, maybe not
* appears as bonus riff *
Bellissimo il finale😂😂
😂
Stima assoluta per "Cut Runs Deep"! Felice di non essere l'unico a stimare un album così ingiustamente sottovalutato ;)
I was hoping for this video since the first time I saw you! Great job!
1:10 which effect pedal? 😍
Great playing/player with a sense of humor!!
Bravo hai fatto benissimo a mettere S.O.T.W. come "bonus riff"... stavo x scriverti che mancava! Thumbs UPP!!!!
Lovely video, would you mind doing one for Pink Floyd ?
Annika Offermann difficult top... money, sheep, in the flesh, another brick in the wall, interstellar overdrive, have a cigar, shine on you crazy diamond, run like hell and more...
why would you proudly present that you are liberal right? lol
The video would be 30 minutes long
Young Lust
Sorrow
Hush?
Gypsy?
Sail Away?
Mad Dog?
Anya?
Mistreated?
Space Truckin'?
Strange Kind of Woman?
Woman from Tokyo?
Fireball?
Sure, you can't fit all of them in one top 10 list, but come on! Someof these are must-haves...still liking the video because of the little Smoke on the Water _burn_ at the end...
I knew it! When I was watching the second I thought: "He didn't play one from Burn and Smoke on the water! There is no more place..."
Nice ending
El riff del estribillo de Space Truckin sera siempre mi favorito
Better than this, only if Rudy Ayoub popped out playing the 035 in the end
Great ending to the video, made me laugh! Love the top 2 choices of Perfect Strangers and Burn, which are my two favourite Purple songs.
i never knew deep purple had such awesome riffs jesus
The amount of blood , sweat and tears put in shows, absolutely great sounding , keep it up.
Top Iron Maiden
the dumb majority that knows only maiden and don't know dozen of other much better bands,,,,ignorants!
xenig ron We get it, you copied and pasted the same comment in reply to every Iron Maiden suggestion
What? Now we need to hate iron maiden? jeez

Smoke on tbe water maybe is overplayed but is one of the greatest riffs in rock history.
Hi, very cool video. What pickups are in your Strat? Thanks.
The older I get the more I’m coming to terms with Deep Purple being the greatest band of all time. They were incredible
2:12 thought I was the only one!
I bow down to you oh mighty guitar god! that was the best 10 Stars

I just love your version of smoke on the...WHAAAAT? :)
thats was a marvelous ranking!!! I loved the number 1. Burn!!!
Surely at least 1 riff from 1994 onwards could have been included. So many incredibly riffs.
