You could easily have a part 2 of this because Maiden has an endless catalogue of some of the greatest riffs of all time. Mariner, Loneliness Of The long distance runner, Powerslave, Somewhere In Time and many others could’ve easily been on this list.

Its is a riff because the riff repeats itself like 4-5 times in the song

I know that we mostly think of the classic period of Iron Maiden when we think of them, but Brave New World, Dance of Death and A Matter of Life and Death have some riffs that are equal to or even better than classic era Maiden. Brighter Than a Thousand Suns is actually my favourite riff of theirs. There wouldn’t be many bands who, 14 albums into their career can write something as great as that song is.
But isn't Dance of Death like impossible to play😅

Finally someone who realized that Iron Maiden did NOT broke up in 1992.
Empire of the Clouds has got to be their most underrated song. About 10:35 in is an incredible guitar riff.

BodaciousWickerman I would say Adrian and Dave are both #1. Whenever i learn maiden songs i always learn Dave's riff parts and Adrians solos. (If they both solo in the song, if not i just try to learn the solo no matter who plays it.)

I'd say if I had to pick 5 myself, I'd say: 5. Number Of The Beast, 4. Fear Of The Dark, 3. The Great Unknown, 2. Can I Play With Madness, 1. From Here To Eternity. Iron Maiden is definitely a favorite band of mine for sure, but I'm into a mix of rock and metal bands primarily.
