@@johnstoner8515, yea but that revenue isn't going to Andrea.
@@MaddDogg316 why not?
Just imagine one guy created all these monster riffs. Page the monster
Jimmy Supafly exactly! We see a lot of people playing ok is good but creativity is the key! Today we have a millions of technical guitar players with nothing to tell...jut copy or playing like a monkeys with no soul! Too many notes and noting to say! Page is a genious
Im guitarist ,,,well i say its bit about the genre. ,well its about written your heart with those riffs
Some of these was created by JPJ, for example Black Dog
Page and Jones definitely created a bunch but borrowed a few here and there also.
That's whole lotta love
Jimmy Page is one of the greatest riff maker in music history.
Sergio A. I’d say James Hetfield too, even though it sounds edgy, he really wrote some legendary riffs
@@Anonymous-re9fd i don't think so many Metallica's legendary riffs were writen by Kirk or Cliff or even mustaine. I don't think that him alone can be in the same league as page or Iommi or Chuck (death).
I’d give Lemmy and some of the Motörhead guitarists- Eddie Clarke, Phil Campbell, and to a lesser extent Michael “Wurzel” Burstin- some credit, because Motörhead had some of the finest riffcrafting in metal during their run.
He is THE greatest riff maker. All of these "Led Zeppelin riffs" videos have one problem...they show ONE RIFF PER SONG. He had sometimes 5 or 6 great fucking riffs in one song.
Greatest plagiarist* in history
Jimmy Page is a riff machine
A copy riff machine
@@igorfernando3414 name a few (other than black mountainside/white summer, dazed and confused, moby dick, which are the one I know of)
Igor Fernando He didn’t actually copy the riffs themselves... he only copied some lyrics into his songs. That being said, he created every single riff.
@@gilrios1405 yep thats what I was trying to demonstrate
@@lnoolnoo Moby Dick's a bit more of a traditional riff thats been altered/used in various different songs.
D&C is wholly original besides it title and "Been dazed and confused..".
Lyrics are 99.9% original and its riff is original as well.
Completely unexpected.....but I ain't complaining
Expected if you follow him on Instagram!
@@NatefousAnand I meant the band he's featuring is unexpected
You betta no complainin
No quarter blew me away
Jason Wohl thank John Paul Jones for that
Jason Wohl That is such a huge dirty riff. Never get tired of hearing it.
Scott Wyatt same, and the solos are amazing
It’s nice that you added Achilles last stand here. That gem by Led Zeppelin is so underrated and deserves more credit.
Correct. It’s their best song in my opinion.
This and No Quarter!
My favorite Zeppelin tune. Just a massive massive song
My favorite song ever
definitely, one of my favs.
I have never been a very happy person, but lately things are worse. Led Zeppelin 3 has been a friend in these times of my life, and so too have been your videos. I have loved everything I've ever seen on this channel, so thanks.
I hope things work out man.
Hope things better 4 u
Yeah shits pretty bad, chin up man it won't always be this way, you'll get the happiness you deserve one day in the hopefully not so distant future..
Get well soon man
See Jock Wilink GOOD
This is kickass. Maybe Black Sabbath next?
Thassa good idea

@@desolationrow1039 yea man that music is magic
" The Rain Song" is musical perfection.
😄ys underrated
agreed
Far more than just musical, it is philosophical perfection as well. I can readily imagine that Pagey was involved with the lyrics. Or perhaps Robert channeled his inner Zoso alchemist.
Your comment is a platitude nightmare.
@@Robaatosensei Are you in a bad mood today or just learning English?
Ten Years Gone and In the Evening are 2 of my favorites. Criminally underrated.
Let's be honest; any Led Zeppelin song that isn't Stairway, Kashmir, and Immigrant Song are underrated, and the one I just mentioned get as much credit as they deserve.
Led Zeppelin rocks!🎸🎵🎶
Yeah man both so good
happy xmas!
never
My patience has been rewarded
Where is "Coda"?
Auguri di buon natale
Thanks Andrea, you too!
You played "The Rain Song" so beautifully; legit brought a tear to my eye. Wonderful!
Going brilliant
Foking brilliant
It pisses me off that this channel doesn’t have like a minimum of 1 million subscribers. This guy could play with the actual legends who made the songs he covers.
Well, he doesn't have a million subscribers YET. Just give him time. For the legends to play with, same.
Well, he played for Rammstein, that's a good start, but yeah, he can achieve way more !
His playing is pretty much flawless. One of the best You Tube guitarists I've ever seen.
are you joking, let's hear his riffs
@@johnzagozewski7251 go back to your old classic movies
Thanks for featuring The Rover. It's my favorite riff by Led Zeppelin. :)
I'm totally with you on that one. Sometimes I think it might just be his greatest riff ever
One of the best solos by jimmy page, the rover is pretty underrated
He played it wrong.
Mine is The Ocean and I’m glad he gave it the appreciation it deserves.
@@lawrencesprau1935 cry about it
I can't listen to any part of The Rain Song without tearing up.
Your phrasing is impeccable.
Is tearing up the same as shredding?
@@nightjaronthegate tearing as in tears as in my eyeballs lol
@@the_pathologist I knew that.
@@nightjaronthegate Shredding tears lol
Although Page was well known for his lead playing, his use of unusual tunings and chords on his acoustic works is often overlooked. What a genius and a legend
glad you gave the rain song so much time
Oh I was expecting No quarter so much, and it was perfect
btw nice tunings this guys used hahaha
John paul jones is the overlooked genious of led zeppelin !
Lol “genious” it’s a honest mistake but ironic
@@celestialdeath9659 just to be fair, "a honest mistake" is ironic here too lol
Dario Vargas I think Robert Plant is the overlooked genius in LZ; without lyrics and melody, these are just riffs without much emotion and meaning. Plant turned the grooves into music, some of which rivaled or surpassed the best Beatles song musically.
@@peacefulruler1 I have to disagree with you, these riffs definetly arent without emotion on their own, quite the opposit actually. Even as a huge beatles fan I got to admit there are so many zep songs that are way better than most beatles songs.
MaVida I think it’s impossible to impute emotion to the riffs only, because you already know the whole songs with words. Try to think of other instrumental songs that have become great hits; hardly any.
Zep and Page are my ultimate favorites, so I’m not knocking them, but as great as the songs are without vocals, they don’t express any specific meaning. Think of Kashmir or Rain Song or Stairway without words...nice but lacking a huge part of what makes the songs great.
This just makes me want to go back and listen to all their songs all over again
i_obrien 1 listening to any tiny amount of zeppelin makes you addicted to their music
The Rain Song & No Quarter... so so perfect.. proud of you man!!! :)
I was thinking the exact same
I am a Led Zep fan for long, but this made me realize how much Jimmy Page is a genius (as well as the other in the band!)
I know....he sucks on a lot of these
Ten years gone is so sick
Legend. Page’s all round mastery of sound, texture, light and shade coupled with his ability to get exactly what he wanted out of what we would now call antique mixing desks makes him (in my view )one of the greatest composers of all time. A wonderful tribute to a colossus of a musician . Well done Andrea
Dazed and Confused probably the first Doom riff ever !
If I am not mistaken, I Want You (She's So Heavy) by The Beatles is.
Roger Aceveda nope, dazed and confused was played by Led Zeppelin in 1968
And even before by the Yardbirds
@@lz222 ok
Yea I always found this song heavy as shit, I love this song and Sabbath, I think it has some doom metal in that
@@lz222 its a doom riff of the 60s so distron wasent relly back then, maybe thts why u think its not a doom riff
In the light, No Quarter, and Ten Years Gone remain some of the most legendary riffs ever created
In My Time Of Dying too
Thanks, 50 Black Sabbath riffs!
The Rain Song alone gives Page a pass for life on any sloppiness live. Guy just has an amazing compositional ear.
Songs that weren’t on here that I love:
Since I’ve been loving you
Fool in the rain
What is and what should never be
Babe I’m gonna leave you
Hey hey what can I do
Travelling riverside blues
Bring it on Home.
razorblazer 05 *all of them
nobody's fault but mine
Benjamin Dickson true, although it’s not an original, still badass version
Out On The Tiles
What's amazing is that one band created all of that.. Jimmy Page is a genius
A whole led Zep is genius
how are your tones so on point all the time?
Possibly DI's (Direct Input) them into his computer and later on does re-amping and adds effects to make it sound as close to the original as possible
PeakCartoon 100%
…no distortion pedal or drive in the map, just humbucker pickups turned up, clean Channel turned up, with tiny amount of drive… so many people add distortion
Excellent equipment, extensive "library"...and one helluva player! 👍
What? 😦 keyboards too! *proceeds to tear hair out*
Wasnt expecting to see the Strat come out so many times. I was pleasantly surprised!
Not gonna lie, it's criminal to leave Out On the Tiles off the list.
Sco such a good song.
Especially the end when its goes through that breakdown and the drums are going crazy
Tell me about it- at least he could have put it on the Megadeth riffs compliation...
Babe I'm Gonna Leave You and Hey Hey What Can I Do too
50 Black Sabbath riffs, please
So glad to see you play The Rover. Such an underrated Zep tune!
Ikr so many songs from Physical Graffiti is underrated

Great playing and recording! Love the graphics with album cover and tunings! Awesome! Thank you very much!
I just found this compilation and it’s by far the best I’ve seen!!! Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video with all your instruments to give the viewer a true sense of all these iconic songs!!!!! Truly amazing!!!!
love the way you opened with "Whole Lotta Love" - the very first song that introduced me to the power and majesty of Zeppelin back in the 70's !!! \m/ \m/
Achilles Last Stand
Thank you so much for including a large portion of The Rain Song, so beautiful
This is hella great dude, your tone and playing is on point! Loved that you included the piano riff on no quarter! Subbed
That was nuts dude - loved your playing and how one track just melted into the next. Well done
The excerpts from No Quarter and the Rain Song were particularly beautiful and well done. I love how accurately you recreate the tones on everything, awesome work man!
6:25 Every guitar store’s worst nightmare
I never will understand the music store faux pas BS. Guitarists can be so pretentious. Play wtf you want fuk anybody who has a problem with it
Nope...this guy'll draw a crowd.
Hey! !!! **points at the sign
Ano niem Mostly because of Wayne’s World. Overplayed or not, Stairway is still a beautiful song.
Boomslang it’s muted now
Holy smokes! I hope you have a full No Quarter cover! Oh and your Rain Song cover gave me chills!
Very entertaining video. Led Zeppelin is one of those bands where almost every riff is memorable - you can’t say that about many bands. Love it
A perfect Christmas present from this guy. Thank you👍
Fantastic! Very good job! Not only the playing but the différent tones are just spot on. Bravo!
Thank you for including the tunings on all these awesome songs. Cheers!
I love how he extended the rain song... Beautiful!!!
I need to listen more Led Zeppelin songs in 2020, thats for sure.
Dude flawlessly weaves in and out of licks...would be the ultimate cover band guitarist
Wow what a video!! So much work!!! My my my... chills
First, incredible job. Thank you. Second, when you stack all these monster riffs one after the other, it really shows you just how creative Page is. Not just open tuning but some weird, obscure tuning as well.
This video is fantastic. The production (e.g., segues, etc.) is top-notch and enjoyable to watch and listen to. Nice work!
Except for when the microphone blocked the view of his left hand on the neck
Love how the rain song got the time it deserved in this list ✌️
Awesome work, great video man, I love this band!!
Headbanging my head to one riff when you switch to the next one and it’s tempo is compatible, just like your tool compilations. So so cool to experience work work, thank you so so much. Also the rover has to be the best riff.
Man Physical Graffiti is something else
Merry Christmas! That was very well done. Thank you.
I'm loving this. Excellent playing.
Crazy Led Zeppelin tunings? How about crazy Soundgarden tunings next.
Grunge sucks
@Gerry Berry Pearl Jam sucks? Uh?
@Gerry Berry So
You're meaning that Nirvana and The Melvins are better than Pearl Jam? You're crazy ass
Soundgarden is the better rock band of 90's
@@rafaeldiogo2266 except in live :)
This must have been so fun to make. Awesome Andrea!!
Dude that was awesome! Huge Zeppelin fan, hope you enjoyed making it
That was great, loved the Rain Song. Best Christmas to you.
You have a great ear for guitar tones; it makes you probably the best youtuber to cover riffs of any type of band
Not even gonna ask for some other 50 riff video. I just have to say that you always absolutely nail these videos and I love going on a streak and listening to them all in a row. It's just amazing how you manage to make some of them flow together so perfectly, especially on the Iron Maiden one.
I can see a great deal of work went into this, much respect.
I applaud your sequencing, the specific choices of which riffs go where make for less jarring transitions and an overall more cohesive video.
I can't get enough of your guitar playing and those videos.... and I am getting yealous... ;) ... My hands are too big and my talent is too small...
I used to have the smallest talent on earth, so don't worry. If you want to learn is possible for every one ^^
@@AndreaBoccarusso I used to learn. But I was hitting 2 or 3 strings at once, when I have to hit one string for example. The timings were never the problem.... then I became a "Stahlbetonbauer". Now I can build houses etc. Btw., greetings from Düsseldorf, Germany. Hope to see you play in club near by some day.
@@stanlibuda91 maybe try Bass, it's usually easier for people with big hands.
Dude Jimi Hendrix had huge hands the bigger the better! Mine are kinda short and fat but I still play lol
Stan Libuda bigger hands make it easier!!
I'll get you anything you want. Just ask for it. This is the best thing I saw on RUclips this year. What a way to finish 2019.
Amazing work, sounds and guitar mastering, as usual!!
Awesome playing!
The rain song is such a masterpiece
Beautiful, indescribably beautiful! Led Zeppelin is one of my favorite music groups in the history of song and you do remarkable justice to parts that one knows like the back of one's hand. And I wouldn't mind hearing a full guitar cover of either "Rain Song" or "Over the Hills" in the *very* least 😁 Blessings!
Glad you gave some extra time to 'The Rain Song'...just beautiful!
this is amazing. Awesome work man !!
This just reminded my how much No Quarter already sounds like a Tool song. No wonder they covered it
Very well played sir.
Jimmy was a fucking genius. Best riff collection ever!
He's not dead yet? :]

Awesome job man! Your work payed off!
VERY nice work here - from the spot on playing in all original tunings/methods to the production - awesome. This video reiterates that Page is the riff king.

To whom it may concern: Your guitar playing and musical abilities are utterly amazing! Thank you for being so great!
Brilliant renditions of their most classic riffs. Well done sir. You have a gift.
Amazing bro, also syncing them all together with no real pauses. Awesome
Great job !!!
Impressive! Now Black Sabbath.
Fantastic video man. Thumbs up!
Tnank you for the music. Sounds brilliant!
I've been a Led Zeppelin fan for many years... Love that warm guitar sound. Wonderful Andrea, if you could share some tip on achieving the sound that would be cool!
Its utterly amazing that one guitarist had the creativity to invent so many legendary riffs and hooks, Page was and is a genious
John paul jones wrote alot of these
thank you for playing! LZ my all time - I have no word for this!
Not only your lick choices and playing are great, so is the tone. Makes me wanna play
Hell yeah! You finally did it! 🤘
Awesome video and beautiful riffs🤘🏻
Led Zeppelin is one of my favorite classic rock bands of all time :D
Everyone who listens to any kind of music should appreciate this band. Especially if you are a metalhead like me: the influence on even the heaviest bands in the genre is gigantic haha.
