- Bhindi ke pakode (okra fritters) have been prepared with an absolutely new recipe that I have developed after many trials. The ingredients and the method ensure that there is no slime in bhindi after frying! The fritters stay crisp for a long time after frying.
Ingredients:
Bhindi/okra 18 pieces
Thick yogurt/hung curd 5 tbsp/as required
Maida 2 tbsp
Rice flour 2 tbsp
Makki ka aata 3 tbsp
Salt 3/4 tsp or as required
Red chili powder (hot) 1/3 tsp or to taste
(You may add green chili paste)
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Garam masala 1/3 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/8 tsp
Baking powder 1/8 tsp
Ginger paste 2 tbsp
Amchur pwd/dry mango powder
Oil for frying
