Does the gear display/ cruise control still work with the altered gear ratios?
The perfect functioning of the cruise control system / ACC, the gearshift recommendation, gear display and the start / stop device cannot be guaranteed after the speedometer has been adjusted and / or the short axle ratio has been installed!
What gear ration does it have now ? is it a proper low( like a hillux for example) or more like a subaru outback, forester? Many thanks
Hi, thanks for watching the video! We replace the final drive, and the output safts.1st and 2nd gear is 18%shorter, 3th to 6th gear is 10% shorter and reverse gear is 17% shorter than production model. Gearbox works like the produktion model, only shorter ratios. It is not like in the Hilux or Amarok where you have the reduction gear.

How much total ground clearance increased after mod?
Hey, ground clearance raised 54 mm to total of 234 mm.
That’s a lot of work for 54mm. I guess every mm counts 😅

Yes, a factory installation on this vehicle.
I guess it would be possible to do this with a VW Crafter? Anybody know?
Liftkit, underbody protection and wheels yes. The gear ratio is only for the Transporter.
We also have for the Crafter wide body kit for the fenders.
Can this be done to a 2 wheel drive van
Yes, FWD can be upgraded as well.

I don’t know if there is a kit available for DSG. For off-road usage we recommend to go for manual.

I drove something similar for some time. It’s a nice car. But I genuinely don’t like the wheels on this one. Too much rim, too little tire. Good for posing, shit for off-roading. 16“ steel is the way to go.
Most of the cars we built goes with 16” steel, But this one was with the Delta 4x4 Klassik B.
