This was the first encounter I had regarding illegal unmarked patrol vehicles in Washington. Life got in the way and I'm just now getting it posted. More details in my blog post: callmegav.com/2015/07/cop-runs...
Just in case the fact that they later marked the car is not enough it should be noted for the goverment apologists that these unmarked cars are fully illegal. These are NOT special undercover cars, but regular city patrol vehicles and are on no way exempt. This goes so far beyond unmarked cars! It's about a growing disrespect that so called law enforcement has for liberty and the people they serve. It's about restoring accountability and values to America. It's time to get real, repent as a nation and start standing principled for what is right; so that are children are not slaves.

Officer Cox said he was talking with confidential informants. What part of "confidential" do you (or Gavin) not understand? RCW 46.08.065 clearly exempts local police departments from marking a vehicle if it is being used for "special undercover or confidential investigative purposes". You guys kill me, claiming to be so knowledgeable in the law, yet you completely ignore critical language outlined within those laws. I'd tell you that if you don't like how cops are, to go out and become one so you can change the organization from within, but clearly with your inability to view a clearly-stated law through an objective lens, you would be more of a liability than an asset as a cop.

I would like to highlight a certain area of this legislation "at the discretion of the chief of the Washington state patrol." Now i don't know much about the police setup in the united states of america, but that sounds like only one man may provide exemption. Also there appears to be only one chief of washington state patrol. (as far as my research shows). here is a link to show the current chief of washington state patrol

So a police officer may not ignore this legislation unless that chief of washington state patrol has exempted them which i highly doubt considering the size of the town in this video. Feel free to comment back if you disagree, but that is my understanding of this legislation.

Sooo, I looked up RCW 4608.065 and there are exceptions to this law that include "...used for public assistance fraud or support investigative purposes" Which means if he was actually working on an investigation then he did nothing wrong and you only made a complete "fool of yourself". I can appreciate it when people hold those of power accountable, but only when there is something to hold them accountable for. You can't just read half of a law and then grab your camera to harass people with ignorance. Read it before you preach it.

Also I'm very aware of the issue with police impersonations and the dangers they impose. Someone I know had a boss who was pulled over years ago and shot as he sped away from the car jacking that was actually taking place when he realized the situation while on the side of a busy interstate. It's not an issue to be taken lightly which is why laws like RCM 4608.065 exist in the first place, it's just that like the exemptions state there are times where it's necessary. You're not going to have an undercover cop catch someone trying to hire the officer to assassinate their spouse (which happens often...) if he/she drives up in a squad car to meet up. Plain and simple, no law was broken in this particular case if he was actually doing an investigation at the time but was if he was simply patrolling or stopping people for traffic violations in an unmarked vehicle then yes he should be held accountable.
+Aiml3ss Calam1ty I have to agree, as as long as he never pulls over anyone for any reason I'm sure he can use this vehicle for investigation purposes all he wants, the law I'm sure is "also as he says in the video" for the purpose of traffic stops, Encase in point he did not have anyone stopped he was in a parking lot talking to 2 dumb kids, so you are correct, you cannot just read part of a law and think it means all cars driven by police etc. Just wow
+Chris rtrucking I believe if he was using an unmarked car for an investigation then he shouldn't be wearing a uniform for he still is identified as a police officer and, at the publics protection, he should give the information about why he's doing so for their safety. All the police officers refused to acknowledge his question nor talk to him or give him a proper legible answer

It's more probable that the 2 goons are relatives or friends of corrupt officers and make medium sized plays then report the dispatched products cordinates so the cops can recollect and redistribute the product again to perpetuate police profit pervertedly.

If the two guys outside were minor they'd have been scared of being outside the station and it would have shown like the cops being scared. The fact that they arent means they saw the cops doing their jobs for them and wanted to protect their own.
