Baulbustor I know plenty who know the law fully well but officers don't give a damn and still violate it and will go through great lengths to fine them and force them to pay money they could never make in a month
Baulbustor I would love to see a video of the opposite race, but I am deeply afraid of the consequences. Not only physical consequences, but *FINANCIAL*
+SuperJoshuaAguilar Seems like, when he's being filmed in daylight over something irrelevant. Lets see how he acts when no camera's and he can do what he wants and get away with it.
+brama holy shit people trully belives nowdays that 99,9% of the cops are going to do something bad when they can just for the heck of it, dont they? just because there are bad examples of cops around it dosen't means all of them are lawbreakers.
+SuperJoshuaAguilar You do not need to feel bad for him. He's not a victim. He chose to be a nice guy and go along with what he was doing. Yeah I thought the cop was pretty alright too.
It is cool that he pulled the cop over I guess. I mean from a point of view of nerve. But I think the cop handled this amazingly. AND he showed his ID. Professional.
The guy in the video goes around harassing cops constantly. I kinda get what he's trying to do but he goes about things all wrong. He has a page on here if it's still up.
+Sean Savage I agree. If he had a problem he should take it to the city board or police head quarters. But wasting a cops time like this is stupid. Even if the officer is breaking the law he was probably assigned the car.
+Sean Savage, dog, I told the supervisor cop that his cops are harassing me and friends, I said I have a feeling you ain't telling em to stop. He said he wasn't. I flipped on him. Verbally. So it's Ok for cops to harasse us, but not the other way around.
kane Poe Never said that. No one knows what police harassment is like better than me. I couldn't walk to my local shop and back when I was younger without being stopped and searched by the police. There are plenty corrupt and just complete dickhead polis. However if you have seen this guy's videos before you'll know he spends his full day 5-6 days a week following around cops, flagging them down, asking them dumb questions. He seems to pick a small town and just harass the cops and video them while they try to work. The guys a pest. I'm not judging him on one video so if you have only seen one you can't really comment.
I can't say for sure, but I don't think this would have happened the way it did if you remove the camera from the situation. what gives me this opinion is he wasn't complying with the stop as if roles were reversed and he scoffed when the man said "I'm going to let you go this time" and didn't take the guy seriously until it was clear that it wasn't a joke and the guy meant business. It's not a certainty, but I disagree that the officer was genuinely respectful. He was giving a vibe that the guy had no right to pull him over until the very end.

Smokeykiller51 What I meant with the officer part of my comment was that quite a few officers would just brush the matter aside and ignore it or even try to escalate the matter
No I know and I agree with your statement. Even though that neither completely knew the law in that regards the officer was kind enough to give the citizen the benefit of the doubt.
Dusk Dovahkiin his balls isnt whats impressive in this video, its his knowledge of the law and enforcing it upon him. Theres people out there with balls and no brain

While we don't know him personally, it's revealed clearly through statistics and continued studies on implicit bias that there is a significant difference in how people approach, regard, and interact with "others". In addition the relationship between the black community and law enforcement would preclude this from ever occurring. The mere fact that this man felt privileged and safe enough to approach the officer is indicative of the inherent lack of fear he had of this agent of the law. I did not like the video and I am black and a police officer . He does not know nothibg about what black people, poor helpless people regular citizens go through . He feels he doing something for the good of the people and he was not . He was really annoying . The police officer should have contacted dispatch and had a supervisor respond and then leave because he could have placed the officer in harms way . The would not have stopped if he did not believe this person needed assitance . The games people play.
D Grant I can't understand how this is related to black/white. This guy wants to say that everyone(including cops) should understand their dusties and responsibilities. If cops do something illegal, they should be convicted. In a democracy nobody is above the law, not even the senators or anyone. Just ask urself how would u feel, if a person comits a rape or murder and gets away with it just because he's a damn cop, and especially if that person was somebody close to u (just forget the fact that u r a police officers, and think like a normal citizen).
D Grant What preventing cops from stopping crime is them having quotas for speeding tickets in order to pay the town's bill's because they refuse to raise taxes. Or worrying about some of these drug laws when there are a hundred serial killers out there

+McBabe12329 This is an example of why we should not have long sentences. It's a stretch but the OR's could be interpreted differently. Why don't they just CLEARLY outline the law: section shall not apply to 1. {vehicle type a} from {office type n} under {condition x} 2. {vehicle type a} from {office type n} under {condition y} 3. {vehicle type a} from {office type m} under {condition x} ... Not really. Look how difficult it was to get a glimpse of real ID? Can you imagine what would happen if you pointed at an icon on your shirt to a cop as appropriate ID? Can you imagine the reaction of police if you refused to pass over your license and registration? If you just held it inside the car just out of reach? "I'm not going to write you up today" I LOVE THIS GUY
👏👏👏
It is cool that he pulled the cop over I guess. I mean from a point of view of nerve. But I think the cop handled this amazingly. AND he showed his ID. Professional.
He was 'resisting' :]

That cop was very respectful and i think he would have been respectful to anyone who was respectful to him. Not all cops are bad.

If you're black don't even dream about doing this. It was so refreshing seeing this though...
Honestly I wouldn't suggest it for anyone. In this case I don't think black would matter. Also doing this in a chill area is one thing but in a high crime down town (east coast) definitely not.

@@TearDownGenesis having an opinion is cool, but it's clear you've no empirical experience in this area. Right! Would've gone a lot differently.
Can you say "good public relations?" Great video.
YES THE OFFICER WAS KOOL ,CALM & COLLECTIVE PERFECT TRAITS FOR A COP GIVE HIM A RAISE CAPTAIN!
Equalizertime lets not go overboard 😂😂. That is how all cops must act.
Cool, calm, collected, and a criminal. Perfect traits for a cop.
"Cool, calm, and collected"
Last I checked, Jack the Ripper matched similar descriptions. 'Give im a raise!'
Hahaha the cop was ignorant, laughing in a law abiding citizen face. Almost denied to show ID, and on top of everything was breaking the law. Cop of the year🤣 whadddajoke
@@sandykhp yeah, terrible that that isn't the norm
I love everything about this, untill ONCE AGAIN "Now if it were a black guy..."
You are directly keeping us locked into that attitude.
If that cop were a black cop, would he have listen to that white guy.
You see how easy it is to keep playing this shit off?
Keep focusing on race, while banks create money out of thin air and loan in out at interest, enslaving *everyone*
Blinded sheeple...I'm trying, GOD knows I'm trying.

10 points to this *Officer* and 10 points to that *Civilian*.
See how easy that was, as ANYONE can be a civilian or an officer?

I think as much as some racist white folk want to hold onto the hatred and anger, some minorities also like to hang on to the hatred and anger..looking right at you Cenk Ugar
P.S. I think your news show rocks none the less and I love you buddy :=)
pretty sure society is doing that. It won't go away if we stop pointing it out.
BoB Bobroski An 'attitude' which is unfortunately true.
Both the guy who made the stop and the Police Officer were first class all the way.
First class what?
willy big show they were acting like ‘first class’ or ideal acting citizens
If the cop was first class he wouldnt be driving a personal var to write tickets. This cop KNEW what he was doing. Did u not see all the cop shit mounted in his car. That took money, anyways cops bank on us not knowing the law
@@kingkracker1998 actually, the cop is probably just working a shift job like you and I are, and was assigned to this car. I'm pretty sure the cop didn't study up on these specific laws, and talk his leadership into breaking them to be a devious little hellion...
THIS cop was the COOLEST! We need more like him.
I agree with this video and one thumbs up for the person and police officer as well for being peaceful like it should be.
I would have told the guy -- NO NO -- -PLEASE DO YOUR DUTY AND WRITE ME UP
Damn, smart citizen... Respect to the cop being friendly, and respect for the man for his bravery!!
This is GOLD ! Made my day ! This cop was actually a really good sport and stayed professional which is awesome, If he had chose another cop it might not have gone very well !
"Serve And Protect, Not Harass And Collect"
I am honestly very impressed at the cop, normally I would expect that to end in bloodshed. That is a great cop, he was violating the law and that is wrong, but that is a level of humility I've never seen in a police officer.
Honestly I could barely get through the video, I was so terrified the cop was going to get violent.
Wow any other cop would have just drove away. No matter what colour their skin.
Or arrested him lol
Well, if you could see in the one part, he was actually kind of leaning through the windows so you couldn't easily do that without having a bigger issue
@@dinishalewis425 toss his ass
Honestly I would have laughed, give him a big thumbs up, said have a nice day and drove off. But thats just me.
Thank u! Sick of everything being turned into an issue of race.
we need more police like this guy. very refreshing
I worked in law enforcement and retired after 15 years due to health, the one thing I never forgot and took Pride in was being a Public servant.

Need to know the laws and yours rights bro. Well done bro
BOTH THE OFFICER AND THE CITIZEN FOR CIVIL TO EACH OTHER. I LOVE THAT! 👍
Ohh man! I was waiting for "I'll let you go with a warning today, okay!?"
That was amazing! I love it. Great civil interaction.
this was great...that cop was cool and handled it very professionally. other cops should take note

This was an AWESOME example of CIVIL SERVICE not attacking the civilian and the civilian also acted accordingly and respectfully. Kudos to both of these guys and it is a shame we have to point this out as far as society norms go.
The cops are very well aware of GAVIN (not Gary). He's been fighting tyranny a long time.
"mouthing off that you is getting hard done by". How can you know the law when you don't even know english?
+TRAVELLER 2201 The tyranny in that is that the state doesn't follow its own laws. Plain and simple.

You think dictatorial overreach of our government is funny? "Lol"? You DO live in a tyranny and those who like living that way are called statists. You love your servitude to the state. You like being legally robbed of your money (taxes). You like being a piece of property. That is ignorant. Hence ignorant statist.
*****
Just because we aren't recently post-independence, does NOT mean that I have to accept government overreach and intrusion into my life. They take a little, and a little and a little more till they got it all. When the PEOPLE finally realize what has happened, it will be too late.
Iraq, where's the WMD'S? What are we doing in Afghanistan? Lithium and Heroin. What are we doing everywhere we go? We distribute American imperialism and control and when someone says 'NO' to the petrodollar, we go in and cause hell. It's ridiculous. I wish I was crazy. I wish it wasn't real. I wish we lived in a perpetual 1950's, and I wasn't even alive then, but we don't. But to say that our rights aren't slowly being eradicated is just plain ignorance. These 'people' who concoct this stuff write books about it because they like to tell us what they want to do before they do it. "1984" "Brave New World" "Fahrenheit 451" These weren't just 'stories', they're a playbook for those in control. We are living the nightmare, and I hope that when the poo comes down, that MEN LIKE YOU will stand in the gap next to MEN LIKE ME and say "No!! Enough is enough!" I want my kids to have a future, but the timeline we're currently on negates that and I have a right to be angry. Especially when people say it isn't happening as they stand in line to get their chip implant.
RCW 46.08.065
Publicly owned vehicles to be marked - Exceptions.
"This section shall not apply to vehicles of a sheriff's office, local police department or any vehicles used by local peace officers under public authority for special undercover or confidential investigative purposes"
The simple basic word "OR" creates 2 different exemptions for officers.
+McBabe12329 and if anyone still doesnt believe it app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=46.08.065
+McBabe12329 This is an example of why we should not have long sentences. It's a stretch but the OR's could be interpreted differently.
Why don't they just CLEARLY outline the law:
section shall not apply to
1. {vehicle type a} from {office type n} under {condition x}
2. {vehicle type a} from {office type n} under {condition y}
3. {vehicle type a} from {office type m} under {condition x}
...
Very clear.
I've read some terribly crafted stuff -- likely on purpose.
+Brett Dawson Traffic control vehicles of the Washington state patrol may be exempted from the requirements of subsection (2) of this section at the discretion of the chief of the Washington state patrol.
+David Vazquez i think it could be argued "confidential investigative purposes" means a ongoing or current investigation into a crime. a traffic stop would not be a ongoing investigation, it would be a crime that just occurred right then of which no investigation had occurred yet.
+McBabe12329 so if its a local cop its fine? am i reading that right?
This guy sounds annoying towards the cop but i like what hes standing for
Micah Middleton no, he's a total douchbag

This made my century and we're only 14 years in. I will probably live to see 2142, as the average lifespan is increasing surprisingly fast, especially with certain technologies; I remember one geneticist was experimenting with regenerating limbs using gecko tails or something and his cousin or brother lost his thumb, so he tested his invention by attempting it on Mr.Thumbless, and Mr.Thumbless grew his thumb back, not even a scar remained.
That guy's a badass!! I love him & the cop is actually listening.
The problem is that the cop should know the law and the law states that it is legal to pull someone over if in an unmarked police car.
The perfect title an Officer and a Gentleman.
I absolutely love the way this gentleman read the cop and told him the law.......they have to be held accountable too. If you want to pull us over and ask for ID especially after identifying yourself as an officer. I’m sure he’ll go back and read up on the Washington State law.......of course ya’ll know a lot of stops don’t end like this however this did and it’s good to see a cop cooperating.
THAT GUY DID THE RIGHT THING. PPL SHOULD DO THE SAME IN EVERY CITY AND TOWN.

UNMARKED CARS should be ILLEGAL everywhere...
classickruzer1 why do you think that? It’s integrity... doing what’s right when no one is their... follow the laws if a cops is in a marked car or not😂 not hard
@@ryannelson9547 Has to do with whether the unmarked car is recognized by the average citizen as a law enforcement vehicle when pulled over.. Just because it has blue/red lights blinking doesn't mean it's an actual enforcement vehicle... Unmarked cars should only be used in investigative work, not traffic enforcement... My family members have been instructed to NEVER pull over for an unmarked car unless they are in a high traffic area with plenty of witnesses around.. I won't stop for one either... I do not recognize unmarked cars as official traffic enforcement vehicles, period.. And BTW, everyone who gets pulled over by any marked or unmarked car doesn't always mean they have committed any crime...
classickruzer1 it doesn’t matter if you ‘recognise it as an actual law enforcement vehicle’
@@thedemon0843 It matters to me if an unmarked car is enforcing traffic laws and pulling people over... It matters to any person who believes in our free society.. I will not stop for an unmarked car attempting to pull me over for a traffic violation.. I do not recognize any of them as "OFFICIAL TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT VEHICLES ... Sorry if that bothers you...Apparently those with views like yours have no problem letting people violate your rights.. @Nicholas Fain AMEN Brother.... When and if you become a father, please do as I do...Tell your daughter to NEVER, EVER stop if an unmarked car tries to pull her over... Contrary to popular belief a majority of LEOs are NOT dicks. I was watching another guys videos who was doing similar things...Calling Cops out on things like procedure and the results were for the most part like this . The cops were polite and professional... Don't be so stunned
?.
Every single Leo I know is a dick.Thank the uni I'm a Pisces that can see through the bullshit
Not really. Look how difficult it was to get a glimpse of real ID? Can you imagine what would happen if you pointed at an icon on your shirt to a cop as appropriate ID? Can you imagine the reaction of police if you refused to pass over your license and registration? If you just held it inside the car just out of reach? You would be beaten, tazed and quite possibly shot, all the while listening to "stop resisting!" So the car video would make it look like you were a desperate criminal and the dirty cop was actually fighting for his life.
@stns 440 Not really. There are plenty of videos where people refuse to show ID at traffic stops and the cop is calm and just keeps asking... pretty much like the person in this video did. The scenario you described is extremely rare.
I would like to agree with you, but there is systemic problems with policing in America and problems with deescalation. the profession attracts certain kinds of people from testy douchebags to just people looking for a stable job. that's not anyone's fault, it's the nature of the job. it's adrenaline inducing and exciting to get the bad guy. the kind soldiers get and these people couldn't become one or whatever, and I think that these occupations are completely different. this job is mostly making arrests. you easily see more of these testy douchebags being given the gun and badge. it's really sad to see. are all cops douchebags? of course not, there are obviously cops who would like to see systemic change to policing but unfortunately would be rooted out by the testy douchebags who are the kinds of jerks on football teams who haze the newcomers. you know if some ambitious person wanted to reform the system, it's not outside the realm of possibility that that guy would have to quit from the immense pressure or sabotage from peers and even perhaps someone with more political power. I mean it's happening in North Dakota. you see it happening.
Gavin: "Have you been drinking?"
Cop: "Just a couple cups of coffee."
