The power on the bike is great. Good luggabilty. One thing that I like is the low end. If to get stopped in the middle of a hill you can easily lug it from a standstill.
Race edition is more for wide open Baja style shit not slowmo hard enduro. I was strongly advised against buying the race edition. So glad I bought the 2023 RR instead.
I agree with your assessment. I wanted more of an XC bike. I like the flow trails and even in the technical trails, I want to ride a faster pace. I just got my suspension back from the tuner and first real single track ride will be tomorrow. I’m ok with it not being super plush because I want to ride the faster paced trails also. I love it! I needed some backup! My suspension went to the tuner last Monday. He’s adding a floating mid valve to the forks and some other changes. I was “forced” to ride my KTM 350 yesterday. I feel dirty! 😀
Bathe yourself in epsensalts and then ride the Beta. It kills me if you own a KTM and revalve your suspension that's fine tuning but if you own a Beta it's because it's a shitty bike. You can't win with a KTM groupy it's a denial mentality. 😅

I have the 2023 300rr race edition . You can judge riding one of them at that speed . Got to open the bike up .

Shock probably broke in and the sag is off. Every time I get my suspension done, that new spring requires multiple adjustments the first few hours.
