the food has beef
South Indian culture and South Indian foods always unique
3 iditos was a big hit movie a lot of my chinese friends even saw it.
it's pretty much popular all over southeast asia too
Yes it was. All my chinese international student friends legit talk about it all the time 😂💀
Try watching "Taare Zameen Par".. N many moreeee
Vivek you won my heart yo!!!
comman man .@!
where is my fellow south indians?
probably in my comment section😄🙈
That South of India boy is so right about kamala
She's isn't proud of her indian heritage
She's black
That woman's anti-Indian
She hates her tamil culture thats why she has been going around saying that she was black and now because of presidential election she switches her gameplay to sell herself to American Indian. She is a twat.
@@ramennoodles8546 Agree
Nice y'all! We have a lot of South Indian food here in the Bay Area (South Bay mostly) - def a whole different world of flavors, dude. I know other commenters have pointed it out, but I've also heard that Toronto has a huge amount of South Indian & Sri Lankan food :)
Indian restaurants have been popping up around the GTA(Greater Toronto Area). Hopefully, they can survive with all the lockdowns.
The Sri Lankan food you're talking about is mostly Srilankan Tamil which is quite similar to food from Tamil Nadu in India.
There is even some Goan/Mangalorean (Grew up eating this) food but it's mostly in Mississauga.
It’s recommended to me and I’m Indian as well
Nice coincidence
It's great to see they addressed the privilege on Indians who made it to america. Great job
Do try our Northeast Indian food . Our food is completely different from the rest of India . Dishes like pork with bamboo shoot, fermented fish , duck etc.
One of the best types of asian food
This was such an awesome, jam packed and definitely insightful video... jazz and vivek offered a great dynamic to the north vs south theme 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
There's like 50 different cuisines just inside south India itself next time try something authentic with someone more familiar on the topic
ahahah yes!
I love Indian food especially South
Keep up the awesome work love from 🇮🇪💚🍀😘

@@ShubhangiAgasthya theyre from ireland lol
Great video guys. I'm from Durban, South Africa which has one of the highest Indian populations outside of India. We even have special Indian dishes you can only find there. Loved the video. My fav South Indian dish in the vid are dosa's and samoosa's.
Thats lovely. Dosa is authentic south Indian,I would identify samosa as a north Indian dish though.
Durban is full of Tamil South Africans
Indian food is my favorite I wish there was more options where I am at
The word Wala is used in Mumbai in Marathi language. It is a masculine verb. The chai wala means man who serves tea. Another example is ice cream wala, which means server of ice cream. BTW you guys are awesome. Love your videos.
North mean not only= punjab . In North india have many state they have own teast of food. I m from uttar pradesh our state mainly known as for sweet. I love all kind of vegetarian food. I feel proud on southern india guy. He known our culture and beautifully describe. I love this guy
North is different, south is different and all is unique in its own way.
West side of India is different too.
Northeast part of India is way different again with very natural spices in it.
India is unique
Damn! these Indian kids are so detached from Indian culture. Such a shame.
Steamed lentil cakes 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ramya looks very knowledgeable person and i wish for her success in life.
Love the fact that you show diff diversity in your videos! Even more proud because you showcased how NYC is such a diverse melting pot. I don't think anywhere else has such diversity as NYC.
Chai = Tea
Wallah = Person
I am not even Indian and I figured that out lol (with Google ofc) also confirmed with my Punjabi friend. Also heard Donald Trump say it and it was the funniest shit! Lool.
🙏🏽 thank you so much. I’ve been waiting for someone with a following to represent South India. Sometimes i feel so irrelevant. I’m happy North India is represented since we’re all one but ppl just don’t know anything abt south india.
North and South Indian food done but what about West and East Indian there is different food in every single state please try other thing.
I have been waiting for this episode for AGES! please do more indian food episodes whenever possible
There ar so many south indian restaraunts in nyc..check out Murray hill Indian street, you will find Saravana Bhavan, Anjappar, Deccan spice, Chennai garden, pongal.....some of these restaurants are straight from india having branches in usa.... this is not the only south indian restrnt in NYC!!!!
Indian food is delicious ! Great video loved watching this it was very interesting 😊😉
This is the video I was waiting for. Thanks for making this video. Love from Kolkata (east india).❣❣
Why did you use wrong map of India??? What can we say...after all you r a Chinese bat...
I'm north INDIAN but I love South indian Cuisines ❤️
cuisine? apne India me itne mehnge words use hote h kya? 🤣 me to "khana" bolta hu bro

Very true..South Indians are more Indian than other parts of India. North & Hindi speaking Indians these days are more influenced by the western world so that part of India is changing and losing its identity. Just get south indian chicken or lamb biryani....North indian food loses right there 😂
Hi guys! Indian food looks so damn delicious! Great video as always. Stay safe! xoxo
The white shirt guy won’t even know how to write Aizawl correctly which is the capital of one of the many states in India. I bet he doesn’t even know the name of the state. I understand how his name is not pronounced properly in the US because we get that stereotypical racist reaction in mainland India. No offence, but Karma
Yes! I already favorited this video before watching it. So happy we’re eating Indian food in NYC! :)
16:07 ??? Andrew, what? You don’t know if food falling on the table is more Indian style? It’s not. Don’t be rude. Our food is flavorful, not dirty.
Authentic dosa is not made with beef. It's made with potatoes. May be this woman is a Christian. She is putting meat in everything. South Indian food is originally vegetarian because it's a Hindu cuisine. I m glad the South Indian guy didn't eat it. He is a good Hindu.
omg hahaha when you guys showed munchkins, the first thing that popped into my head were the donut holes from dunkin donuts BUUUT the ones here look so much better!!!
Again only the North and South Indian debate ☹️ Meanwhile my North-east Indians friends are just sitting 🙄😶
Omg I love them soooo much I feel like the North Indian guy was super into it especially
Vivek ( south indian guy) is pretty wrong on some issues.. south indian also watch bollywood movies and is quite popular... And south indian movies are also getting more mainstream like bhaubali.., maybe he's referencing about the past but clearly things are different now..
Loved you video guys.. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
is anyone else mad that these guys are so thin, while they're eating so much?😅
Looks like Nepalese food is more similar to South Indian food because of lentil, pulau, puri, paani puri, fish curry and dosa but our dosa isn’t called dosha it’s very similar to Chattamari.
Pulau and pani puri arent even South Indian. Only dosa, vada, idli, Sambar and fish curry were south idnian
Awesome intro to the food
Wow side note, never knew us Cantonese in Canada were "elite" 😎
I like South Indian food it's coconut based more flavors than North Indian cuisine
I’m a week late, but I’m SO excited for this video as a South Indian American!
What you think of North Indian food is really Punjabi food. It is not what rest of North India eats.
There are 28 different states in India. And every state has different food. And the differences are not even subtle. It's like you're eating something completely different. The only common thing is that food is eaten by hand and that it's spicier when compared to the West. And *IT'S ALL BETTER IN INDIA* . The Americanized version looks boring.
Tbh it was a little disappointing to see you guys try out these “gentrified” places and claiming false titles like “the only South Indian place in the city” when you forgot to even go out to the mecca of Indians in queens better known as Jackson heights . Theirs so many varieties of Indian restaurant from all over the regions there from both south to north and also little chai shops. Please do give it a visit next time and see the little India of New York City 👍🏻
However the two brothers did explain beautifully and showed that Indian food can not be in one category. Good job . Jai Hind 🙏
Vivek reminds me of JC Chasez with the way he talks and sounds!!
Indian food looks incredible!
It is....lots of variety for veg food..
Try Pakistani foods!!!
Cool though
Flavours would be same in guess
@@chaelisa2763 Some foods are similar but very different flavours. Pakistani foods also use different meats.
Glen Coco oh thanks for info

I love the conversations you guys had throughout the video. Very insightful!
Why do Indians still have very bad body odor in 2020? We literally have a hygiene product for everything now....
I really appreciate how well spoken they were
Oh wait , you included the North East And Bengal into North India..LOL Thats East India..Definitely not North India. North East and East India is a whole different world. East India has more East Asian influences in their food. I often talk to my Filipino or Malaysian friends and we have many similar food items.
I liked the South Indian guy. He didn’t eat beef.
He didn't eat anything, he said he has allergies with several foods
Beef is eaten in south India so it’s fine lol
@@qtsixiz3006 nopes it is not. Hardly negligible minority prefer it due to their service in Gulf.
@Suyog Parab
It’s eaten all over goa, Kerala, Tamil Nadu etc.
@@qtsixiz3006 Nobody eats it in Goa, tamilnadu. Even Kerala the percentage is very low

Wrong. Tiger is national animal. Cow is considered sacred due to religious views.

"Are south indians represented well in Bollywood? "
Well.. The last thing I want is for Bollywood to represent us! For goodness sake leave us alone with our own movie industries. You guys remake our movies anyway!
Lmao true that.
Ah that’s really rude tbh. You people are dividing India. I love some south Indian movies but 90% of your movies are messing with the laws of physics lmao
