    Indian food is the bomb. My family is Jamaican and since my dad is vegan the Indian restaurants are the only place that fit his standards spicy and animal free.

      He's a Seventh Day Adventist... and there are tons of folks that are vegetarian/vegan in Jamaica. Hindus, Rastafarian, SDA, and those that choose so for their own reason.

    I ate Indian food with my family around our house in Zhuhai, it was cooked by an Indian chef. They had lamb made in every style with curry sauce, which was great. I fell in love with naan when I first ordered Indian takeout in NYC, it was such a heavenly taste.

    Hmm, Table manners are very important. I dont blame them for missing out on the culture.
    Indian table manners:
    1) Wash your right hand thoroughly before eating.
    2) Eat with your right hand and dont ever use your right hand for other day-to-day activities(which could be filthy). It is considered rude to use both hands while eating.
    3) Never use your eating hand for serving(extremely rude), always use spoons/spatula with your other hand (The Indian guy in the video clearly violated the Indian eating etiquette)
    4) Dont spill your food, considered extremely rude
    5) Finish everything on your plate, leaving food is considered bad/rude.
    6) Use only your fingers and not the palm of your hand for eating.
    7) Maintain extreme discipline to keep your hands clean, keep watching them regularly.
    If you find it hard to follow the rules and maintain discipline dont eat with your hands, just feel free to use your cutlery.

    • @nvrguru22
      @nvrguru22 8 лет назад +14

      Only reason you use your right hand in India is because toilet paper isn't common there. Those rules really shouldn't matter

      NVR guru
      Shit is not the only thing you come in contact with your hand. If you are using your hand then having self discipline and hygiene is advised.
      Well technically you can dip your hand in sewage water and can still eat after that.. much depends on your immunity.

      Emerald Miner pakistani food is a bastardized version of northwestern indian food.
      indian food has way more variety than pakistan

    • @SantomPh
      @SantomPh 10 лет назад +5

      Emerald Miner
      Pakistan was originally the northern part of the various Indian empires and for a while India itself- so an examination of Pakistani food would need regional emphasis; Punjabi food, Balochistan food, Kashmiri food, Peshwari food etc othewise it will be a show about food also seen in India.

    • @hutshutrules123
      @hutshutrules123 10 лет назад +1

      SantomPh yeah. I'm from Karachi and wow their food is amazing and pretty much the same as indian food as most karachians immigrated from delhi in India. But punjabi food (no offense) is completely different and caters to a different set of taste. So there definitely is a distinction between the regions of Pakistan.

    Lol. My name is Preity and I'm from Mumbai (Bombay). I recently moved to England and I've been telling every single person I meet that my name means "Love" and not pretty. I have a feeling she went through the same shit as I am right now.

      What else do you expect from a person who thinks India has 52 states. All in all these guys don't know anything about India. They are Indians just for the name sake :)

      Krishna Sarswat the only indian here is the girl but i guess she's NRI raised in australia and the guys are chinese and vietnamese but seriously 52 states .. she's confused with US lol but i dont feel offended coz i don't expect her to know but she shouldn't have said the number if she didn't know !!!

      sweta khuraijam Calm down honey. What's so offensive with being linked to tea? I'd love to be called as tea or coffee person. Its no different from an outsider calling Indians 'curry people' just because curry happens to originate from India.
      Unfortunately like most Indians, you're oversensitive over a non-issue.

    My sister hardcore craved masala dosa all through her pregnancy. She ate at least 2 a day, and those things are huge af.

      Nick Malhotra My point? That my sister had a hardcore craving. I thought I covered that.

    • @lilykep
      @lilykep 9 лет назад

      Well she didn't share, and that kinda hurt my feelings. Also she tended to eat them one after the other.

    • @lilykep
      @lilykep 9 лет назад +1

      Nick Malhotra Ok before I answer this question there are some things you need to know. 1. I don't get a chance to eat Masala Dosa often. I only get it when I visit my sister in Houston. 2. There was a limited amount of Masala Dosa, and no way for me to get more. (auntie said she wasn't going to make more that day, and I was leaving that night) 3. One of them was supposed to be mine. 4. She's my older sister and she's supposed to share with me.
      I'm 20 and I know it's childish, but I really really like masala dosa and I had to wait a whole year before I got more. :'(
      I totally forgave her for eating my food, because my niece is awesome, but I can't deny that it still makes me a little sad. (this is all pure melodrama btw, just in case you think I'm being serious)

      Monmoni Tokbipi But both are different on terms of their heat units. Carolina Reaper is the hottest in the world whereas Bhut Jolokia/Ghost pepper is 7th.
