      Not everyone will like it. You can watch other videos on his channel. Different countries initially struggle with different things. Many find India loud. If you are from one of those countries where people never interact in public and you prefer it that way (I have seen many who strongly need things that way) so in that sense you will struggle. If you earn well, life is good here. Struggles are present in every country, it depends on what you can handle and what you can't.If you are white or black people might stare initially,nothing racist just unusual.That too won't happen if you are living in areas that has large foreigner population.@@relikvia4

    • @DavidWisely
      @DavidWisely 3 месяца назад +51

      @@y.u.so. Nobody like to pay heavy tax. They are forced to pay heavy tax. Healthcare is top level in India, if one contributes even a fraction of what they would contribute in Europe. They are forced to buy medical insurance, and pay 140 euros or so every month, yet, they have to pay initial 300 euros or so if they utilise medical services. On the top of that, they have to wait for days to get an appointment to avail any medical services. In India, medical insurance is optional, and even a very good medical insurance costs less than 20 euros. There is no wait time. You can go anytime any good hospital to avail services. Insurance can be availed if they are admitted to hospital. OPD services, regular checkups, regular medical tests are also covered depending on insurance plans. If you go to free govt hospital then sure the conditions won't be good because of too much crowed. But why one would compare that if one has to pay and avail good services. Same goes for social security. Regular employees have to pay 10% of their salary and employer contributes 14%. That goes towards them.

      Indian thinking is always this - respect the local culture, wherever that is.
      It’s that simple. It’s the prime reason why Hindus can so easily amalgamate anywhere in the world and happen to be the least trouble makers and max contributors.
      If one can reciprocate that in India, India will love them like they’ve never known love.

    Rightly said by the chef, as he realized that in India food is more about the taste and the quantity( and quality to a certain level ofcourse) people don't really care about exotic presentation and stuff( except for a 5 star hotel), as long as the food is delicious and in sufficient quantity, you can sell any dish. Indian cuisine is like a box of surprises because you expect a dish to look like something, but when you take the first bite, you'll be blown away by the spices and flavors and you eventually end up enjoying the meal.

      Bhagvad Geeta and Ramayan were nver the main books of Hinduism. Gods like Shiva, Durga, Ganesh, Kali were mainly worshipped by Hindus for millenia. Krishna and Ram gained popularity since last 2 centuries, more so since 1970s ever since b0llywood started conditioning people's mind in India.

    His concept to live in india and adapting the Indian style is so important part ,for anyone to enjoy india you need to live like indian that's it. He truely understand it because France facing the same problem where foreign people want to live in France but not in French way that's very absurd to be honest.

    I love the Dominique way of experiencing India, Yes we shared food on the table and asked fellow friends what best that everyone loved to eat.. not waste food by ordering separately. Our country is a Gem in this world. Every country is beautiful but India has its own charm. you are free to do anything people do not carry guns with them, People love to talk not cold like most of Europe. Food is something that no one can compare because north-to-south and west-to-east food is very different and simultaneously you find similarities. thanks, Max for showing the best side of India. India looks strange when any new person comes for the first time but once they experience India you gonna love it.. same with us when I visit a new country like European or another I feel good and happy but after a week or 2 once I see everything I found things boring and cold.

      Different foods, just under the same category.
      It's like saying you like sandwiches,why eat burgers.
      Besides,Dosa is more akin to a Gallette ,then a traditional crepe, which is more similar to the Bengali dessert called pati-shapta.
      Also, Stop.

    I cannot believe how humble and down to earth this Gentleman Dominic is! He is so knowledgeable yet even at this Age and with this much experience in cooking he talks like a apprentice who is there to learn from scratch!
    Both Nandini ma'am and Dominic Sir are fabulous and really generous with their experience and humbleness. Thank you for being a part of India❤️

    I love how for this lovely gentleman the age is just a number, and is excited about learning new things. As an Indian, growing up with family and elders I have observed that elderly in India tend to kick back in life and would virtually spend time raveling in their own small world of devotion and spirituality, which in itself is not bad by any means. It's just that they shut off the avenues to curiosity and the hunger to challenge and rediscover themselves. As a young adult stumbling upon this video, I'll try to learn this lesson from this man. Bravo!

      I lived in Paris for a year, way back in 1994. I have extremely fond memories of that city. It is a part of my childhood. It saddens me to see how French society is tearing itself apart. My thought is exactly what Dominique mentions: if people are coming to a different country to live, they must respect the host country and adapt. The fact that this is considered "extremist" is precisely what enables the real extremists.
