Same with mofongo. Its from Puerto Rico. Love Dominican people but there food is bland and repetitive. The desserts and bread is horrible. Probably the worest I've had.
Lol I’ve been leaving comments on Fung Bros videos asking them to cover Dominican Food for years.
Edit: just a few questions: no Chimichurris? No Kipes? They didn’t try a Dominican cake?? Pastelitos of every kind? He didn’t even have them try arroz, habichuelas y carne with a banana? NO MORIR SOÑANDO??? 😂🤣😂 Our version of a Cuban sandwich? Arepitas de Yuca? Moro? ;-; Next time Fung Bros, please do a “Dominican Food Tasting pt 2” lmao My mans didn’t even tell them about Yaniqueques or Chicharrón 😂🤣😂
The True plato Dominicano bandera is red beans, white rice and beef not as i see it today with quandules if i spelled it correctly but now a days i see quandules and that is Puerto Rican style not Dominican and the chicken that is known from always is chicharron de pollo and is fkn delicious with lime.
I'm puerto rican, BUT let me tell you all this I love DOMINICANS PERIOD!!!!!!!!
I have been waiting for this for years finally lol
Cibao is a region of DR ( Which includes Santiago ) not another name for Santiago. Just clarifying. That kid by the way he speaks Spanish is barely Dominican. Sorry. Thanks for showing love though. *Goya is not Dominican neither is Tres Leches. BTW.
I’m a quarter Dominican, its nice to be a little educated on part of my culture.
Thank you for acknowledging and showing our Dominican culture 🙏🏻🇩🇴
You guys should do Cuban or the few Cuban Chinese places still left in NYC.

Makes me want to eat the food but living in Ca almost no Dominican restaurants. Feel deprived.
Check out Al Horford, he's the first Dominican NBA champion.
Dude has his info all wrong, tres leches=Mexico. Mofongo=Puerto Rico. Goya=Spain. But it's all love. Love Dominican food.
Mofongo is Caribbean, and it came from Africa is the cuz of fufu, but he really did it I'm proud that other cultures are tasting the Caribbean food in general
