30 minute Walking Workout at home // Fun Low Impact Dance Cardio!

  • Thank you for joining me for this fun walking and dance workout! I hope you love it as much as I do, this was a blast to choreograph!
    All exercises are knee friendly, easy to follow and low impact. This workout is appropriate for all ages including beginners and seniors, and are an excellent way to get your steps in and increase your heart rate. We will alternate aerobic moves with walking in place for a fun way to move our bodies.
    This walking workout is 30 minutes and is set to the music so it keeps us moving at an achievable pace. I was able to get 3000 steps in!

    I rotate through many of your workouts. At 66yo I began to feel very stiff and off balance - lots more than I felt my age dictated. As I have arthritis, I have hesitated to do a lot of workouts or go to the gym as my fear of being hurt is greater than my dislike for being out of shape. BUT, for the new year I decided now was the time. I tried several on RUclips but then found your series. I have stayed consistent 5 days a week for 4 weeks now and can already tell the difference. I feel stronger, have more energy, and more importantly, I am so proud of myself for sticking to it! Your workouts are perfect for seniors (an often forgotten group), don't take up but a half hour of my day, work the WHOLE body, and ARE FUN!! Thanks for taking such good care of us "old folks".     Nowhere near being a senior 😂 (I’m 28) but as someone who doesn’t enjoy high impact exercise I found this the perfect amount of cardio for me. Thank you so much!

    I’m 28 and thoroughly enjoyed this workout which says a lot! I don’t usually like working out at home but I can honestly say that I loved this workout. I used 4 pound weights the whole time to burn extra calories and could not believe how much I was sweating when I was done. This workout was super enjoyable and I didn’t feel drained afterwards which is a huge plus. Definitely coming back to this channel for more :) thank you for this video!

    I’m 5’4 and 114 lbs I’m not overweight and at the lower bmi of the spectrum BUT this was difficult and honestly I didn’t finish it I’m trying to become more athletic and able to do stuff but I can’t no matter what I try I’m weak but I’ll be doing this every day and try to finish it no matter what

    I’m actually 17 years old and struggle to workout due to my big chest size (which I can’t really get rid of until surgery) so this is so helpful since high impact really hurts!

    Great workout. I didn’t want to get too winded, so paused the video for a minute or two to walk around the house, drink water, and once again to put clothes in the dryer. But I finished it and feel good! A little sweaty too! S…age 77.

    Thankyou Lauren loved this class really makes you 🥵🥵 I've just been diagnosed with Osteoarthritis as well as Osteoporosis but I'm not giving up my doctor said your classes are the best to do to keep my muscles and joints supple so another thankyou for helping me 🙋❤️❤️💐

    First time doing this workout. I loved it. Heart rate up. Reminded me of routines I did in the 80’s but without the joint pain. Thank you Lauren!

    Not a senior yet, but these low impact workouts are great. Really enjoyed thos one. Perfect for indoors exercise on a cold evening.

    I lost fitness for 7 years due to osteoarthritis of my hips. In the past 4 years I have had both hips replaced and am on a journey to get my fitness back. Although I walk 5 to 8 km daily, I felt I needed something more. I have found your Senior Shape workouts EXCELLENT! They are totally doable with no discomfort whatsoever. The cardio, strength, yoga and stretch workouts are perfect for a 68-year-old getting back in shape. Love ALL the workouts! Thank you so much!
