problem is more justicesystem in itself. you basically boxed someone into the situation lifelong prison or run and fight. this is not what prisons should be for. prisontime yes, but making it a unbearable option will create violence like this. prison system shoudl have a large focus on rehabilitation, education and prior inmates should not be forced to disclose their past for regular jobs so they have a chance to rebuild. was this guy a scumbag, yea, and at this point the end was probably the best for everyone. point is it shouldnt go that far to begin with. and yes it would cost more funding for first time prisoners, but less long term. you could reduce the relapse rate from high 80%s to low 20%s. with less stakes (like automatic life in jail on the 3rd offense) chances for violence at traffic stops would be reduced alot. with that police preamtive violence would also go down a lot
Why are they questioning the amount of firepower that was used too stop him? If he was shooting at them, that opens the door too deadly force. The only way too stop a violent threat, is too use extreme violence in a controlled manner, and thats what they did. I'm sorry for the loss of their brothers!

THAT CORRUPT SYSTEM IS COMING BACK TO ITS OWN HOME the judge only doing his job
Why was he not locked up? Because the justice system in this country is a joke. A drug user gets 20 years, yet kidnapping and attempted murder will get you 5 at most.
Judges need to be charged and prosecutors letting these criminals out. Its intentional
doesn't matter what does officer did, what they did was justice for that family and all of his friends. A eye for a eye should still be a thing.

Its sick. I have family members working in the police department. They have told me about their co workers being shot. Imagine being less than 30 years old you're whole life ahead of you and suddenly dead or crippled for life. You people need to understand that the vast majority of cops are good men and women who follow the law. My idol, direct family, one of the most important people to me works in the police department and she is one of the most honest, driven, hardworking, kind, generous, loving, sober person I have ever known. I honestly can't think of any time she has done anything but be a literal angel, she's getting the vip ticket for sure. Not once in my 24 years of knowing her has she ever been selfish, rude, dishonest, ungrateful, unsafe, she is unbelievably perfect. I honestly can't describe in words. Who do you know that you can say has never committed a single moral sin in you're entire 20+ year relationship.
I don't have to imagine it. It happens to people who run into the politicians servants everyday.

At what point are the judge and court held responsible? Letting a hardened criminal out on bail is actually insane. This isn't going to stop until they know they'll face consequences if someone they release commits a felony. Might incentivise them to actually take this seriously.

That judge and others like her, the people both in power and not who advocate for that insanity, are all part of why you've been seeing more n more stories like this. I'm usually not one to bring politics into things, but there's 1 particular group of people associated with 1 political party who support the idea of letting violent criminals out on the street and to say or think one has nothing to do with the other would be factually inaccurate and willfully ignorant. Getting real sick of innocent people being the cost to further their agenda of feelings instead of facts.
Exactly! And thanks to the blind sheep that keep voting them in

"Judge"? Hardly...Kara Hutson is no judge...
I believe that the deputies done an awesome job of finishing this criminal off. I pray for the deputy that lost his life and his family and friends. My heart goes out to them. I also believe that the judge who put this dangerous criminal back on the streets should step down and should be sued by the family of the deceased deputy's family. Again I pray for justice.
problem is more justicesystem in itself. you basically boxed someone into the situation lifelong prison or run and fight.
this is not what prisons should be for. prisontime yes, but making it a unbearable option will create violence like this.
prison system shoudl have a large focus on rehabilitation, education and prior inmates should not be forced to disclose their past for regular jobs so they have a chance to rebuild. was this guy a scumbag, yea, and at this point the end was probably the best for everyone.
point is it shouldnt go that far to begin with.
and yes it would cost more funding for first time prisoners, but less long term. you could reduce the relapse rate from high 80%s to low 20%s.
with less stakes (like automatic life in jail on the 3rd offense) chances for violence at traffic stops would be reduced alot.
with that police preamtive violence would also go down a lot
I think justice was done that day. All cops need an ego check, apparently this is the best way.
Lock that judge up!
Why are they questioning the amount of firepower that was used too stop him? If he was shooting at them, that opens the door too deadly force. The only way too stop a violent threat, is too use extreme violence in a controlled manner, and thats what they did. I'm sorry for the loss of their brothers!

I believe if your charged with murder u should get no bail or at very least a 100K bail
Ah but see that's exactly what the judge is there for - to hear the case and modify the charges and sentencing accordingly.

When you realize Democrats are still angry about losing the Civil War and their slaves and have been seeking revenge against the United States and our people since the 1860's, everything they've done since makes perfect sense.
