- In today's video, we install a Genuine Password JDM Carbon Fiber Gurney Flap on the RSX Type-S! This is easily the most asked about part on my Honda Civic Build. It's the perfect OEM+ splash of Carbon Fiber without overdoing it. Let's make this DC5 look fancy!
If you watched my Acura RSX Spoiler Install video, then you may remember me teasing this beauty! I'm a big fan of Password JDM parts, and this Gurney Flap has to be one of my favorites. I also picked up a Carbon Fuse Box cover for the RSX (that I'll be installing after a detail). Fun fact, Password JDM Carbon Fiber parts are being made by Tecnocraft Composites. So yes, the brand still exists despite many people thinking it was gone! Whew!
This install of this spoiler extension is pretty straight forward, but you definitely want to take your time! The 3M VHB tape is STRONG, so I recommend making some cuts on the backing to make it easier. The end result is EXACTLY what I was hoping for. An aggressive kick up on the spoiler with a piece of Carbon that makes you double take. From what I know, this will fit the OEM A-Spec High Spoiler and OEM JDM Type R Spoiler. I can't confirm the fit on the Ebay spoilers.

You should do a rear wiper delete,I did it on my rsx ,looks a lot more clean ,I never used my rear wiper that’s why I did it also live in cali so didn’t have to worry to much lol

Great video looks great. That's crazy that they said you can't clear coat it my hood was the same & after like 2 yrs it got bad faded i sanded it down & clear it been good for over a yr now don't they put a gel coat on it you can lightly sand it & clear it
Had a 2002 rsx type s fire pepper red for 20 years that I just loved. Did about $13000 of mods to it but didn't get it under coated...huge mistake. Wisconsin salted roads just ate it up. Replaced it with a Miata which I love but your rxs sure makes my miss mine. I highly recommend getting it Ziebarted if you plan to keep it for years.
Rust isn’t an issue in Idaho, but if I was any more eastern I would absolutely have it undercoated

Yo bro by any chance do you still have that extra Type R wing? If so would you be willing to sell it just picked up an 05 rsx type s in the same color original owner paints not in the best shape but I will get it taken care of. You motivated me to get one after all these years finally did it 🙌🏼

Wish there was a gurney flap like that for the Evo people. All the ones I’ve seen are either too subtle or way too aggressive
They did make them for the evo X I believe
They made one it actually looks better in my opinion it looks subtle and clean, and you’re able to get it in different colors.

Accents always sets cars apart. Also throw on some ceramic coating. And a spray wash here and there and you'll be good

Hey Anthony do you know if the 2009 honda accord's 5 speed automatic transmission with the k24 in it because my grandma has that config of the accord from 09 and it just hit about 74 or 75,000 miles because my grandma does not drive that much and it's been garage kept ever since it was brand new. What are your thoughts on this?
Should be a great car for many years. Get all the fluids changed, air filters, spark plugs, brake rotors and pads. Thing will drive like new.
