- What happened to Password JDM? I'm not sure but here is an exclusive video tour of their Headquarters & Manufacturing plant in Long Beach California. So many hidden Honda cars and builds including Integra Type R, S2000, Civic Type R EP3, Civic EG hatchback and 1n Ariel Atom powered by a K24 Honda engine. They made all the carbon in the USA and made wheels also. Walking around the manufacturing warehouse I saw more C&C machinery than I have ever seen in my life.
Thanks for watching

I remember driving there several times to pick up parts early-mid 2000’s. RIP PasswordJDM
I drove there from Pennsylvania in 2010 in my 2009 Civic Si. Great drive and trip.
Anyway, they showed me around the shop. They were test fitting carbon roofs onto the then-new GTR.
Sadly, they were sold out of HAMP oil filters which was 100% the reason I stopped by there in the first place...but they were super nice anyway!
legend of a facility and great company, the scene lost an amazing company offering top tier parts.
i totally agree
I've been rocking with them since they were in Norwalk. I was fortunate to get a few parts before the shutdown. I talked to the guys there.. The original owner retired. So the new owner made the call to shut it down..
“Legend” lol
I used to buy parts from Password JDM for my 94 Accord, I missed the parts in 90's. Nice video around at warehouse! Thanks, HondaPro.
I’m still not in the know, what happened to PWJDM?
Basura...
Haha I’m not in the know either.
started making gun parts thats what
They just make Aerospace parts now for airplanes honda parts dont pay the bills anymore

What happens to Honda Pro guy? I don’t know. But, click bait because he hates you.
I love seeing where the blood sweat and tears magic happens. Too often people buy stuff online and have no idea the amount of work that happens between ordering and receiving. Great job Jason. Been watching every upload for years.

thank you so much!!
I wanted to see how they made the carbon fiber pieces
It’s so crazy that I just seen this eg in person today and met the owner as I went to buy parts for my crx
My family bought from them since they were in the small facility in paramount and my mom lives 2 minutes away from the large facility in Long Beach, sad to see it’s gone.
Oh man. They still have the ep3. That’s awesome. I remember seen that car every time I used to go buy parts from their first warehouse back in the days.
I knew password jdm for when they imported parts from japan
Jason looked just so out of words looking everywhere at the end of the video , like wining the golden ticket at the chocolat factory lol
I was definitely overwhelmed and not expecting to see everything I saw
Glad I picked up my carbon cooling plate for my eg a couple years back on Black Friday.
In all trueness password was password when they brought engines and clips and everything was about password then they slowly took a turn and went away from oem jdm in the since and started their own line and that when things took a turn. The over pricing kills them over time
I have a new found appreciation for Password JDM
Awesome! I would love to come check out their HQ someday!
They are closed for good.. :(
PasswordJDM used to have rare parts but went on to start making parts. Not so much rare JDM parts anymore.
I don’t want to be the bad guy here, but Americans need to understand that only Americans care about the “Made In the USA” trademark, and that makes it expensive. I’m Italian, proud owner of an 07 S2K living in the UK, and would always prefer Japanese aftermarket parts for my Japanese made car. Please don’t take it wrongly, but business and nationalism not always work out well. If you aim entirely to the DM, perhaps. But the aftermarket market is global. And I’ll never pay 1500usd for a PSWJDM carbon intake, when I can get a MUGEN make in Japan for that price. REAL JDM. No wonder that they have disappeared. I’m sad for them, because they made beautiful (yet expensive) parts.
Miss having a American company that made a bunch of cool parts and I have had 2 of the carbon and Kevlar intakes great parts.
The secret project you were asking was a Rotrex K20 (24?) powered second gen Lotus Elise/Exige chassis.
review a 1997-2001 Honda Prelude !!!
i remember when pdjm first came around.. back in the good days of the honda game
So, I picked up a few things from PJDM but to be perfectly honest due to their site I didn’t think to take them as seriously. I might be jaded as I am in marketing and often nudge companies / brands by how they represent themselves in their digital presence. I’m now very upset and feel like I should have taken them a bit more seriously. Beef up your online presence guys it’s important, it can really make or break you. Identity is VERY important. From a visual perspective. “Consumer facing”
Good call
They sell garbage engines. Bought a b20 years ago with burnt valves and no refund.
The machines in that building probably cost as much, or more than the entire stock of Password:JDM products they have sold in their lifetime, and that is why they shut down. Some of those 3 Mill CNC machines are $85k and up new (and that's the base model price).
You look so much like Jason statman. That’s crazyyyy
It’s crazy*
Glad I cashed out on all their carbon Kevlar for my eg
How old is this video Jason?
I am curious where they make this stuff.... Is it in the USA or overseas?
yes manufactured in the US
To be honest Jason i was very disappointed with the care and cleanliness of the Hondas. Stacked tires on an S2K? Some painting plastic goes a long way especially in a machine shop. That Integra looked like it has 10yrs of dust on it. Gun parts was disappointing as well.
For being a HondaPro he doesnt seem know half as much as the real honda fans out there.
They were overpriced and didn't cater well to e-commerce over the years...sadly it is those characteristic to the public that lead to the death of PWJDM. I remember visiting there website often looking for rare parts and it wouldn't be in stock and the prices were so outdate and high...competition and greed killed the radio star!✌😂
They were cool in the aspect of...it had things that you could never find for sale without killing someone at a honda car show for it...what's funny about this video is if you ever visited there website...beyond that you would never "knowwwwww"😉😂 all the stuff PSJDM did for the public....like the custom stuff or even the racing...Jason did a great job at showing us a piece of great Honda history...of a company that had a chance at being very great if they could of kept up with the digital age competition and "targeted" there product that was clearly cool to the import scene at the time...its a shame that they aren't around but it's also a great piece of information regardless and I enjoyed this vintage video...thanks Jason
their*
I have one of their pricey battery trays. I remember debating if an Odyssey pc680 was worth the $150 just to mount onto my car. I still haven't answered myself... 🤔😁
Not overpriced when you are getting quality parts made in USA. Cheap ass customers that would rather buy China made crap parts is what killed them, simple as that.
@@youtubechangedmyname yeah basically what I said...competition killed them and greed but just cause it's cheap doesnt make a part bad so I dont fully agree but I do get your view
What’s the company called
That's cool that they make so many stuff. I know passwordjdm for swaps I got my first swap from them. Then later on all this cool stuff came to place.
Why is there Haas f1 team logos on all the machines? Do they make parts for them or did they buy them from Haas?
HAAS is a brand of cnc machines
Gene Haas owns Haas Machine, which has made CNC machines for decades. He also recently got into the F1 game after spending decades as part of Newman-Haas racing in the Indy league.
Also owns a nascar team
That intro song was 🔥 🔥 🔥
The video of my green ej8 had a lot of skunk and password parts. I liked there stuff. Shit kinda surprised they moved on yet companies like black works, and acuity step in. Is black works gone now??
I just tried to access website. It says they are out of business???
I've still got their dress up pieces! nice to rep the name still
Cool Jason ! 🤘
Last I checked they are still open? Probably closed for a bit due to COVID?
so whats next for password jdm? is there an update?
Bro nice video HondaPro!
Where do we find the music you used in this loving the beats?
I was brought here because I was wanting to order the cooling plate for my 5th gen prelude, anyone know where to get those now?
Leave it to Jason to touch things he shouldn't and end up with metal shavings in his hands lol 😂
Great job nice videos
Anyone else spot that osha violation of having pallet leaned against something?
How do you find different stock parts for models from Europe like under hood covers or interior parts
Chris Gardner at the junkyard dude
This explains why their s2k intake is no longer in production; because nothing is in production 😕
I'm guessing that EP3 was a genuine JDM Type R: judging by the Championship White paint and double din / gps ready centre console... This car was probably imported to the U.K., then PWD JDM imported it to the U.S.
As I already read in the comments, the clensiness of the cars is way off the mark. And to use an S2K as a tire rack... wtf! 👎
It's a type r from the UK not japan
@@gb361TX it's Japanese spec CTR. Championship White was exclusive to the Japanese market, also the red interior was a dead giveaway. The UK CTR had a k20a2 engine, the JDM CTR had a k20a, making 212 horsepower.
So this is just clickbait....doesn't say what happened to the company....sad that you have to use a company tjat is no longer in business for a click bait to get ur views up on RUclips! You should be ashamed of yourself! 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️👎👎👎
Honda should consider buying JDM Password.
According to my breast cancer awareness band, it’s about 6:30pm......... 😂 nice watch Jason! Keep them coming homie!
I have an EF9 SiR rear spoiler I bought from PasswordJDM years ago. Came with a little damage and not from shipping. There was no description saying about the damage. Afterwards I saw I could have gotten in cheaper and better shape elsewhere. Yes their prices were high when could get the same oem parts elsewhere cheaper. When your building a car no car builder is not looking for a better deal unless it's an unobtonium part. Plus a lot of their parts were out of stock and very inconvenient. Like if it's a part that not gunna carry again delete it from the site. So I strayed away.
🤦♂️
They didn't take you to the back warehouse where the owner stored his collection of super rare and classic JDM wheels and cars?
I was last at PASSWORD Back in 2015 after they had used my WRX for test fitting.
@5:16 thats actually a milling jaw for a fix vice.
I guess PWJDM is no longer around anymore?
I worked right down the street from password jdm... been to this exact Location.. it’s cool n all. But kind of over priced.. whatever floats your boat.
Lmao 0:50 SAVAGE!!
Does anyone have a civic 1990 PWJDM 3 point front strut bar for sale? I’m looking for one 😁
Their still around. Its called Tecnocraft now
and most of these cars that are there they are my dads cars when he races back in the day
dont drop the rim or anything
Salam dari Indonesia 😎
So, no more PWJDM?? Have they gone completely? Very sad if so, bought a fair few bits over the years 😞.
gone completely
@@HondaProJason Then why does their facebook say stuff about new hours due to Covid??
BDBD16 They only went out of business a couple months ago
@@HondaProJason how do you know? Did Adam, Jose or Steve confirm? BTW, I'm the owner of the white ASM S2000.
@@s2k90650 I went in and got parts. They told me everything. The original owner retired and partner took over. This was his call
That mystery car looks like a lotus chassis
Sponsored build by Sun Chips
that ep3 is from japan not uk
They grew up and grew out of Hondas?? Or CheapBay happened .. Happens, but some like me will love it Honda EJ1 forever even if it sits full of dust fully built.
Have you confirmed with Steve or Adam?
❤️🔥
Life is sad I never got to buy anything cause I was like 14
Cool vid but still duno y they closed lol
Don't think they have closed
@@ramonbriones4487 It looks like they closed in 2013 but have reopned, there is a stale post about them shuttering, but their facebook currently has covid 19 info on it. Clearly Jasons not in the know on this one.
To my understanding the facility is still open..
What did i just watch?... seriously. Who do I talk to about getting 11 minutes of my life back?
Date filmed?
Literally tells you in the beginning of the video bud
Atleast we still got JHPUSA. Lololol
So what happened to them? You never explained as to why they are gone or how as the title of ya video suggested. Found it to be quite a pointless video tbh
I am never again clicking on one of his empty videos. Lesson learned.
Read my comment I spoke to a worker personally since I go there in person to get my parts
My man needs a smaller shirt 👕looks like a large
This is really fucking confusing. There was a post in 2013 they are shutting down but their facebook says this:
Password:JDM UPDATE (March 23rd,2020)
NEW HOURS OF OPERATION
Due to the Covid-19 virus, our sales team hours are as follows:
9:30am - 1:00pm (PST)
Please contact us at ordersupport@passwordjdm.com with any questions or concerns.
Please expect up to 3-5 business days before we can fulfill and process your order.
So they re opened??
my dad is the owner of passwordjdm his name is steven
The owners decided to retire and closed down there business instead.
Don’t put down the gtr
I can understand why they were so pricey. the rent in cali is retarded. along with all the equipment, I can understand why. If they were smarter on their location they may have lasted longer. But there were china knockoffs starting to float around so I can understand.
What a shame. I have so many PWJDM parts on my car
damn they ate alot of eggs to get that much egg carton.
I jest remember password for over charging on jdm parts n the mid 2000’s
Exactly. Then when others came in with the same parts for a 1/4 the cost they couldn’t compete.
Now people selling their parts for a lot
Dress up counterfeit parts by others or maybe their supplier are being sold on eBay currently
Lol Jason is sniching on cartels
It’s sad really, I wanted the gurney flap form my FC1 🥺🥺
I bought it before they stopped production. Waste of money. They didn't even clear coat it. I only paid $250 but they wanted $350 for raw carbon fiber. Sold it for $300 🤷🏽♂️ so if anything I made my money back & some.
I bought carbon fiber fuel pump covers from them. I had to clear them and sand them and clear them again 3 times because they came with no clear on them.
could care less bout the Nissan lol true Honda lover
Bro a $30k CNC machine? You’re going to machine whatever you can that will make some cash.
Not sure what machine you think is $30k, those Haas machines are $85k new.
@@zajaka4164 my point exactly. My price was based off of what I’ve found for sale and available when I was looking for a machine.
Click bait title with an annoying host who has no idea what he is looking at and touching way more things than he should.
I don't care about the Nissan either Lol
Gun parts 😳
So why upload it now makes no sense
Everyones uploading old stuff because of the misc lockdowns
Why not? He's getting views....
Stop touching everything!!
Stop acting like a Honda fanboy. Appreciate other nice brands too
Noo
Haas f1
Click bait SMFH he don't know sht about Hondas
