My favorite package stuffing is grocery bags. I have a million at all times so it doesn't cost anything and they are super easy to manipulate around various shaped objects
You are an excellent packer 😊 I love how you reuse what you can and especially the good thicker boxes b/c I really am starting to think the post office plays football with them sometimes😂
Great video. It helps to put paper towels on top the soil before taping, the soil can’t move around as much. And also taping the plants or cuttings inside the box.
PSA: I've received plants packed just like this and the Scindapsus will have soil all over because the top soil is not covered well enough. Packing a couple moist paper towels or polyfil around the stems will totally stop the soil from leaving the pot. The SOH cuttings should be packed with polyfil around the stems as well because those leaves and vines will be moving around a bunch due to the way they are packed. Not trying to be rude or anything just wanted to help someone who might be here to learn.
Good for you, you still have deliveries going. 😀 Im dying to get my hands on new plant. Even delivery here is prohibited. But still good as i get to propagate a lot. 😀 stay safe erika!
Hi Erica! Do you grow Vanda Orchids? If you do I found an amazing place that sells and ships them called Banjong Orchids. They have a Facebook page and they have a post that they made within the last 30 days explaining how ordering and shipping works. I got a Vanda Orchid that smells like grape candy! ❤️🎉
This is so funny cause I just finished watching a random video of a Hirts unboxing and Hirts horribly packed a bunch of this girl’s plants into a single box and called it a day omg..
Do you ever tape the plants in grow pots to that actual box? That would be a good method to keep the top leaves from getting smushed. I had a recent order of a Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma that someone put in a box that was the same height as the plant. They taped the pot to the box and that helped keep it from banging into the "ceiling" of the box. I would have preferred a taller box for that plant, but otherwise the shipping keptndamage minimal. Just a thought, instead of using so much reliance on the paper to bumper the jostling they get in the mail!
What do you do with the string of hearts once received? Do you pot it up (and if so what size pot) or water propagate and for how long? Im interested in getting one. xx
You can do whichever! I prefer water propagation :) just leave it in the water until it grows a good amount of roots & then you can transfer over to a well-draining soil
I want a cutting of a Monstera Deliciosa for my mom as a gift but I don’t know where to start to get one online. I want to make sure the seller is good but not too expensive since I just want a small cutting.
Thanks so much for this video! I’ve been thinking about creating my own etsy plant shop & you just gave me the inspiration to go through with it! How are your profits off Etsy?

I haven’t ever taped a pot down, but I’ll try it now! Usually I just tape down the cutting tube. I see what you’re saying good suggestion 😎

Do you sell plants I love your plant videos
some sellers secure wrapped plants with sticky tape to the side or bottom of the box. something to keep in mind just in case, i guess :)
Tape them in the box..
