I really liked this video and was good to see some repotting, finally, lol. I really like the longer video too dont mind the longer format either, sometimes with shorter videos it seems over too quickly. look forward to seeing more in the future. Just know having miss matching ties and chopsticks is not a bad thing we all need to save where we can for more plants! great content as always, hope you are well and can't wait for the next video.
I really sat here and watched the whole video. I felt like I was in your house having a conversation about plants and watched you re-pot them. Thank you 🙏😀😀
Yay, a potting video!! These are my favorite! They are not long enough. 😃 You do such a great job with all the plants, I think it's cuz you care so much. Looking forward to the next one! Hurry up!! Hahaha
So happy I’ve come across your channel and grateful I’m not the only person that had a redemption arc for peperomia care! Your energy is very calming as well and all the pot ups look amazing!
Hi Erika, you are so adorable ... I wanna adopt you if your way minor.. lol I’m prolly old to be your mom, but I just love watching your planting journey. You kept me smiling the whole time ! Lol Thank you for sharing your passion for repotting plants :)
I love watching your long videos!! And your vibes and style! I'm in Long Beach so not too far from your valley can wait till this pandemic ends bc I would love to meet you!!
22:53 The zoom out of the two dramatically droopy stems is so funny to meee 😭😭 he’s trying his best!! And I LOVE long videos. Whenever I watch plant videos it’s always soooooo relaxing, and I never want it to end. I could literally listen to plant talk for hours and be entertained. AND HAPPY EARTH DAY AND BIRTHDAY ERIKAAAA!!! You’re such a joy and so passionate to your babies! The way you look and talk about your plants is so pure! Finding your channel was seriously such a gift, thank you for making these videos. You have no idea how they make me feel less lonely and how happy they make me in these gloomy times. HAPPY BIRRTHDAYYY!!!!!!!!
Nice job! I love when you repot...pot..plant it up😊 That is sooo funny how the roots shaped in the vase 😂 I wouldn't have separated them out of pure laziness. They are going to be sooo happy in their new pot 🥰 Great job👍. Love your videos Eirka! Long is great!
I get frustrated from doing that bc then the long roots don’t make it to the bottom of the soil. But for shorter roots that is a lot easier than my crazy method lol!
Just found your channel and I went through all your video titles and love the variation! I saved like 15 to my Watch Later aka I’m about to pull an all nighter and watch all of your videos I queued! P.S. I really hope you consider adding music and a title and closing sequence to your videos!!!
Thanks for the upload Erika as always very enjoyable. I'm definitely looking forward to the follow up video for the Alocasia you received for your B-day. Thumbs Up!!!
Erika Lodes no problem when you said it i thought omgeee thats so perfect you love plants and your bday is on plant day girl it was meant to be keep up the beautiful work cause hard work always pays off 🤘🤘💯❤️
if you're ever looking for orchid bark and can't find it, try reptile bark! chewy and amazon have it. it's cheaper than orchid bark, and a really good chunk size for any type or size of plant. i tried a few brands, and i found that Zoo Med Repti Bark to be the most consistent size, and with less splintering than others. there might be some ph issues but i never researched it, and my plants seem to be doing fine with it. :) :)
Can you do a prostrata care guide? I bought some cuttings earlier this year and wasn't able to get them to root. That is until I found your channel and propagated them in soil with a ziplock bag from your watermelon pep video 😂 Now they're growing too fast! I'm scared to take them out of the humidity chamber lol Also yes longer vids! I do plant chores and the longer vids are really entertaining 😁
Suuure!! That makes me so happy!!! That’s how I saved mine too!! In the plastic bag 😂 I took mine out recently & they’re doing prettyyy well, but I haven’t watered them yet so I’m a lil nervous
I love your videos. And i put all my plants in terra cotta too, i love to water my plants and since they dry out so much better in terra cotta i use them and i believe that they are better for plants then anything else. also i love the look of all of my plants in terra cotta pots... my Burgundy rubber tree is dying on me and I don’t know what to do I’ve had it for three months everything is going fine and then all of a sudden Bam I’m losing leaves any suggestions ?
How do you take care of plants that came from water propagation? Do you let them dry between waterings like how you would normally take care if they started from soil propagation? Thaaaanks ❤️❤️❤️
I missed YOU so much... I don't know what happened but all my subscriptions were deleted from my channel for no reason. And I'd have trouble even accessing my own channel -like on and off- .. anyways I'm glad I just RE-SUB'D and I hope this never happens again
If I need to get a sticker off terra cotta, I soak the pot in water for about 20 mins. The pot soaks up water and kind of loosens the sticker from underneath!!
Please do an update on your water propagation transpotting into soil. Did they all survive? I need to transfer water propagations but I'm hesitant because this step or soon after is where something goes wrong. I have the only fiddle leaf cutting with long roots in water but since it is the only cutting I don't want it to die when I transfer it into soil. Urgh.
Hi, I have been water propagating my golden pothos and the roots have got to be atleast 5cm long or longer now but havent split off into tiny root hairs, can i repot them now or should i wait longer. They have been in water for a little over a month now I think.
All of your plants did so good.To remove the stickers soak the pot in extremely hot water for a couple of minutes. It will come off if there's still glue left behind use some goo be gone to remove the glue and stickers if you want.
A subscriber sent the shovel to me, but there are similar ones on Amazon! www.amazon.com/Tool-Gadget-Colorful-Gardening-Succulent/dp/B01IQWNW62/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=bonsai+scoop&qid=1587534178&sr=8-2 They are called bonsai scoops. & the container I probably got from the dollar store or something. I think it's supposed to be for chips lol It was just a really cool coincidence that they are the same color!
KristenGibson_CanadianGirl does Leca do that too? Like if I was to add Leca to my soil instead of perlite. Would it do the same thing? All my stores are out of perlite 😭😭
I just bought a levoit humidifier and I’m wondering if you have had any problems with yours?? I think mine is defective as it keeps shutting off. I’m getting a replacement, I’m just wondering if you’ve honestly ever had issues with it??
I haven’t had any problems, that is so weird. It probably is just defective 🤔 I’m glad you’re getting a replacement, though. Once it works you will probably love it haha
Whenever you want really! I like to wait until the roots are like 3 inches long at least. Usually the longer they stay in the water, the more difficult it is for them to adapt to soil.
A Canon G7X Mark II I think it's good for outside filming bc its small & everything. But for indoors, like for my setup, there are probably better options. Idk just in case you're looking lol
Hi Erika I really enjoy your videos I started watching not too long ago but I am hooked on them. I’m not sure if you know but I discovered a community on reddit called take a plant leave a plant and it’s a community for trading or selling plants you should check it out if you’re looking to make space for new plants!
Lorraine Courtney I live in New Mexico. I’m in a plant group on fb and a lot of people from all over the states are finding them at Walmart! 😊 good luck!
Best "noises" are those when you potting up plants on speed... so soothing.
Erika..... U are so fun to watch becuse u are so Happy Peoples... So I enjoy what u are doing but also enjoying YOU. ❤
You’re so cute and informative Erika! Quickly became one of my my favorite RUclipsrs to watch 💗
Thank you so much!! I feel so honored 🥰
OMG....I totally agree white or terracotta pots......love this video.....no forced convo💞😍
I really enjoyed this longer video with more chatting! :) I've been really into your videos lately and binged them all, lol. Can't wait for next one!
I really liked this video and was good to see some repotting, finally, lol. we love long videos 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼
I really sat here and watched the whole video. I felt like I was in your house having a conversation about plants and watched you re-pot them. Thank you 🙏😀😀
The longer the video the better! Lol! I always watch while I take care of my plant babies!!
Yay, a potting video!! These are my favorite! They are not long enough. 😃 You do such a great job with all the plants, I think it's cuz you care so much. Looking forward to the next one! Hurry up!! Hahaha

Love your video's !!! Like the longer video's...I think you are so adorable and sweet ❣ Happy growing..🌵
Wow the roots on that Maranta was wild!
She was in there for a loooong time haha
Thanks for sharing. I struggle with planting cuttings. I never arrange it nicely.
A tour of where you grow your plants in your home would be awesome. Grow lights?
Love longer videos.
Hi Erika, you are so adorable ... I wanna adopt you if your way minor.. lol I’m prolly old to be your mom, but I just love watching your planting journey.
You kept me smiling the whole time ! Lol
Thank you for sharing your passion for repotting plants :)
I liked this video format a lot! I love repotting videos, especially when I am also doing plant chores.

I love your videos it’s my relaxing tool 😊
pothos is very beautiful
Love your videos! Really getting into house plants
I love your long videos! 😝😉😉😉
I love watching your long videos!! And your vibes and style! I'm in Long Beach so not too far from your valley can wait till this pandemic ends bc I would love to meet you!!
I wouldn't mind an update on these perhaps in summer just to see if the cuttings were able to transition from water to soil
I very like your idea my friend thank you. like #711
Lovely plants Erika and yes your right it's the right timing for propagating and planting plants. 💚🌿 Those roots of the begonia 😍
Love this video 😀 It’s fun watching you an you explaining how an why you do it a certain way. You can tell you really love your plants ❤️
Oooh, that's the Begonia Sinbad! I love it so much ❤
Wow those roots are awesome! I always get too impatient and just pot them up ASAP
22:53 The zoom out of the two dramatically droopy stems is so funny to meee 😭😭 he’s trying his best!! And I LOVE long videos. Wow! Great repotting! You are the peperomia expert! They will all do well.
Your charming enthusiasm makes your channel one of the best 🌞
Oh my gosh thank you 🤩
I loved the video! I usually like longer videos 😊 Also, congrats on your new peperomia skills 😉💚
yes please make more repotting videos we love them 😍❤️✨
Nice job! I love when you repot...pot..plant it up😊 That is sooo funny how the roots shaped in the vase 😂 I wouldn't have separated them out of pure laziness. They are going to be sooo happy in their new pot 🥰 Great job👍. Love your videos Eirka! Long is great!

🥺💖 thank you so much omg!!
4/22/20 Happy Birthday Erika!! Have a blessed day!!
Thank you so much Tino!!! ☺️
I Absolutely Love the Video! I have to do some repotting also. I Love longer videos and I watched until the end.
Put each leaf in individually with a little bit of soil over roots, so much easier and will look the way you want it to
I get frustrated from doing that bc then the long roots don’t make it to the bottom of the soil. But for shorter roots that is a lot easier than my crazy method lol!
Can you please do an update on your online plant buys 🙏🏽
Just found your channel and I went through all your video titles and love the variation! I saved like 15 to my Watch Later aka I’m about to pull an all nighter and watch all of your videos I queued! P.S. I really hope you consider adding music and a title and closing sequence to your videos!!!
I appreciate that you lowered the pot on the scindapsus. A better view will of yours will hopefully work for mine. Thank you
Where did you get your cute little dirt scoop?
Also, this video is delightful!
Thanks for the upload Erika as always very enjoyable. I'm definitely looking forward to the follow up video for the Alocasia you received for your B-day. Thumbs Up!!!
Oh gosh I’m worried about that guy 😅 lol thanks roger!
I have faith in you you'll bring it back to life.
Happy birthday, I remember you mentioned earth day was your birthday in one of your previous videos hope you have a blessed one ❤️
That is so sweet that you remembered 🥺💖 thank you!!
Erika Lodes no problem when you said it i thought omgeee thats so perfect you love plants and your bday is on plant day girl it was meant to be keep up the beautiful work cause hard work always pays off 🤘🤘💯❤️
I love your videos lol it’s like talking to a plant friend. 😄💛💚 also, where did you get your soil scoops?!
I do the exact same thing ,take cuttings. You are reminding me I need to make a propagation video.🤓
if you're ever looking for orchid bark and can't find it, try reptile bark! chewy and amazon have it. it's cheaper than orchid bark, and a really good chunk size for any type or size of plant. i tried a few brands, and i found that Zoo Med Repti Bark to be the most consistent size, and with less splintering than others. there might be some ph issues but i never researched it, and my plants seem to be doing fine with it. :) :)

Love your videos. What soil mix did you use for your peperomia? I need to rescue one of my new plants that is still in its nursery soil. Thanks
Do u think u could do a plant tour of the ones u have outside ? Hearing u have a couple ?
Ya! I’ve been planning on cleaning outside but it’s been raining 😢
They make teracata spray paint. So plants that need more water just spray them so they look like teracata but still hold more moisture. 🤗
How do you take care of plants that came from water propagation? Do you let them dry between waterings like how you would normally take care if they started from soil propagation? Thaaaanks ❤️❤️❤️
Great way enjoyed this video.Do you have polka dot Sonia Begonia
Is it a harden fast rule that you must detangle their roots before adding to soil? 🍃🍀☘🌱🌿
I missed YOU so much... I don't know what happened but all my subscriptions were deleted from my channel for no reason. And I'd have trouble even accessing my own channel -like on and off-
.. anyways I'm glad I just RE-SUB'D and I hope this never happens again
Love the long videos! Watching this video makes me want to go home and repot some of my plants. Too bad I still have a few hours of work left. 🤣
How do you care for plants after they have been repotted and replaced from water?
If I need to get a sticker off terra cotta, I soak the pot in water for about 20 mins. The pot soaks up water and kind of loosens the sticker from underneath!!
Please do an update on your water propagation transpotting into soil. Did they all survive? I have the only fiddle leaf cutting with long roots in water but since it is the only cutting I don't want it to die when I transfer it into soil. Urgh.
They are still all surviving :) just don’t let the soil dry out
Where do you get your pots from? The small terra-cotta pots 💕💕💕
How do you keep the monstera props from getting root rot in water?
Hi, I have been water propagating my golden pothos and the roots have got to be atleast 5cm long or longer now but havent split off into tiny root hairs, can i repot them now or should i wait longer. They have been in water for a little over a month now I think.
You can repot them now if ya wanna 🤗
Do you put any plant food in your propagation water? I put a few drops.
Haha yes! I also put a few drops of the liquid miracle gro
All of your plants did so good.To remove the stickers soak the pot in extremely hot water for a couple of minutes. It will come off if there's still glue left behind use some goo be gone to remove the glue and stickers if you want.
PS Erika, if you have a bunch of Watermelon Peperomia why not put them in your shop? I would love to get one 😍
Where did you get that cool shovel? I love it! The turquoise container and shovel set! Link please?
A subscriber sent the shovel to me, but there are similar ones on Amazon! www.amazon.com/Tool-Gadget-Colorful-Gardening-Succulent/dp/B01IQWNW62/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=bonsai+scoop&qid=1587534178&sr=8-2
They are called bonsai scoops. & the container I probably got from the dollar store or something. I think it's supposed to be for chips lol
It was just a really cool coincidence that they are the same color!
Thank you.
What does orchid bark do in soil?
It aerates the soil, and allows it to dry quicker.
KristenGibson_CanadianGirl does Leca do that too? Like if I was to add Leca to my soil instead of perlite. Would it do the same thing? All my stores are out of perlite 😭😭
Masudah Chowdhury leca does, but it doesn’t have any nutrients. You would need to use plant food in leca
Erika Lodes haha okay good!! I hope it was just a bad one! Thanks for replying!!
we to know when to plant is my biggest struggle
Whenever you want really! I like to wait until the roots are like 3 inches long at least. Usually the longer they stay in the water, the more difficult it is for them to adapt to soil.
do you know of any plants best for water propagation in bathrooms
I subscribed.
What kinda camera do you use to make your videos?
A Canon G7X Mark II
I think it's good for outside filming bc its small & everything. But for indoors, like for my setup, there are probably better options. Idk just in case you're looking lol
I put on potting videos to pot😁🌱
Your videos weren't showing up on my feed
how do I fix that
Do you ever invest in nice handmade pots for your plants, I have been lately, you should do a handmade pot haul.
Do you ever sterilize your clay pots before use? Or is it not important to? xx
It's a good practice, but I don't do it. Especially when trying to rehab a plant, it's good to sterilize the pots.
Hey girl, how often do you water your Alocasia Frydek?
Hi!!! Whenever the moisture meter is almost dry 🙊 I don’t trust myself to test w my finger lol
Goo Gone will take the glue off the backing of the price tags
Do you trade plants or cutting?
Super dr new fnd
💕
Spray your stickers with alcohol and the glue breaks apart and the sticker comes off clean 🙂
Hi Erika I really enjoy your videos I started watching not too long ago but I am hooked on them. I’m not sure if you know but I discovered a community on reddit called take a plant leave a plant and it’s a community for trading or selling plants you should check it out if you’re looking to make space for new plants!
Use nail polish remover to remove the stickers
I tried doing it on wood... it did not work & it stained the wood. never again 😭 I’ll try it on my pots though haha thank you!
@@ErikaLodes Just make sure it's non acetone
❤️🌿🤗
🌱🌿🌾
Girl, send me some scindapsis cuttings, can't find one around here 😣😉
Lorraine Courtney next time you go to Walmart l, look there! My Walmart got a lot of them in 4” pots for $3!
Nice Kim ! I live in PA, how about you?
Lorraine Courtney I live in New Mexico. I’m in a plant group on fb and a lot of people from all over the states are finding them at Walmart! 😊 good luck!
Ok,great😁
soak the pot to get stickers off
Hideous setup... lol. Nice cuttings
the maranta needs to chill
Ya lets hope she can transition!!
Super dr new fnd
