    Love this channel ! So refreshing seeing someone who is a plant lover and super knowledgeable but also figuring things out as you go! Feels like we are on this journey together lol (even tho I’m no where close in plant knowledge)

    It kind of looks like you’re too overwhelmed by having that many plants. I was the same way and let half of my collection die off at that point I barely had plants and only started buying plants I ABSOLUTELY love it’s helped so much.

    I totally get your frustration unravelling that siltepecana! I bought a massive staked and absolutely feral Cebu Blue a few months ago hoping to separate the vines and repot and restake each one individually. I had enough an hour later and just chopped up each node. Sometimes it's just not worth it!

    Thank you for this video. I have been struggling with my monstera now from before winter. I have repotted it now three times, made sure about watering, got well drained soil, well more peet moss and bark with vermiculite. I am soooo unhappy because everyone on RUclips says, it is the easiest plant to grow, Yeaahhhh not for me!!

      yes the seeds fly everywhere when fully ripe and mostly when touched🥲 good luck, guys✨
      i actually once tried to get clovers IN my plants by purposfully touching the seed pods from outside my house and spreading the seeds in my plants but they kindoff took over and it took me loong to fix my mistake😂 and i didnt even learn my lesson because now im trying to keep them only in a couple plants because i still like them🤡

    Erica: relaxing video as always. Most of my plants are really slow growers, but many often need attention. In my situation, I tend to repot more often as the circumstances call for it. It is really a judgment call and everyone's growing conditions are different. Take care! 🌱 🪴

    Do clovers have root nodes like string of hearts? Will they come back??

    • @ErikaLodes
      @ErikaLodes  2 года назад +1

      I don’t know if they have nodes like that, but I do think they will come back. Someone said that if you touch their seed pods they explode & I believe it bc they spread SO EASILY

  • @Lettilany

    Those are not clovers but wood sorrels. They are edible, taste like lemon, and good is salad if I am not mistaken. Great video. :) I love your content sooo much.

    I always love watching your new videos, your honestly so real and humble. I got a Siltepecana because I saw yours and I fell in love, but I quickly fell across the same issues your having now with the leggy stems, sometimes it’s growing pattern can be random, and for me it’s a super fast rooter. I still love the plant it’s just hard to keep up with🥲

    Hi Erika!😊 I’ve got a question and would really appreciate if you answer:)
    I’m making a potting mix from coco peat, perlite, charcoal and moss, but unfortunately, I don’t have any nutritional organic ingredient, such as worm castings.
    Should I just add a liquid fertiliser (I use a fish plant food) every watering or as usually, every 2 weeks? Or should I add any organic part into the soil later anyway?
    I hope that did make any sense 🤭
    Thank you in advance 🌹

    • @ErikaLodes
      @ErikaLodes  2 года назад

      I would just fertilize like normal. If you get guano or worm castings later, you can sprinkle it on top of the soil. Easy peasy 😄

    Why have so many plants if you’re not going to properly take care of them (water/trim)? You have a beautiful collection and it’s sad to see and hear you say “you haven’t had time” to do so and so. Your plants can be doing so much better if you only keep what you know you can handle.

    • @Weirder_the_better

      Eww, why be so negative? Life happens and schedules can change. She may not have time right now... but that doesn't mean she won't have time later on. Don't act like you've never had thirsty plants. All of us have things that we'd love to do if we had "more time". Life is a never-ending balancing act of trying to juggle all of your priorities and responsibilities. Don't shame someone for being human.

      Because they are just plants…your concern is the kind of concern one should put towards neglected children or neglected animals, not plants! You have way too much (alone) time on your hands if you feel people should devote their lives to making sure their plants are living better lives than they are, Jesus.

    PROBLEM WITH MY PPP’S 🥺‼️🫶 Right now I have 2 pink Princess Phil’s that have AMAZING aerial roots, and I want to prop them both SO BADLY. But scared weather to use ;
    Perlite
    Soil
    Water- I don’t use “super thrive or nothing
    Prop box ?
    I’m not sure if these like 4-8 inch aerial roots rot, and then grow water/soil roots ?
