No he didnt. In 2007 he won 3 road games and the Superbowl. In 2011 we played Atlanta at home. Green Bay and San Fransisco on the road. We won the division that year. Nobody plays 5 games in the playoffs.
@@jkappakj4652 he had a run game in 2007. In 2011 the Giants were dead last in football in rushing yards per game. Eli set a playoff record that postseason with over 1200 yards passing. It's still the most passing yards I. A single postseason.
You talk as if he did this on his own. That team was led by it's defense. Look at the offenses they had to go against during those runs and then compare them to the defenses they had to go against. The defense definitely had the much tougher task. Eli made the plays he needed to make but those Superbowl victories were won by the defense. They held Brady to 14 and 17 points in their Superbowls. Thats impressive!!! But somehow most ppl call it "Eli beat Brady twice" LOL
I worked with Rich years ago at a newspaper. He even was a guest on my radio show after he went to ESPN. While I haven't spoken to him in years, very proud of the high-levels he has reached. And, this episode shows just why: rather than allowing perception to cloud the reality as people like Stephen A. Smith have, he just stated the facts regarding Eli Manning and the Hall of Fame credentials - One of only five to win multiple Super Bowl MVPs, two Super Bowl Championships, Most Passing Yards in a single playoff run in the Super Bowl era, Top 7 of every major passing category, never missed a game due to injury and did all of this, while under immense pressure. To me, it's a no-brainer. And, Rich could have gotten cutesy like some of the media, but instead he kept it honest. Mad Respect for him. Staten Island represent! And, remember Rich, Joe Namath STILL has great hair! And, Nobody beats the Wiz! ;) GOD BLESS and STAY FRESH!!!
IF you were close with Rich and had ties, why did you not stay in contact? Even Bill Simmons still has his friends from way back on his podcast. Explain, Sam.
The Hall of Fame is not about how “good” you were it’s about how dominant you were. Eli might’ve had two of the greatest playoffs runs ever. But in totality of his career he was never seen as the best quarterback in the league. Never finished in any MVP voting, no all pros, never lead the league in any major statistical category except interceptions twice. Him never missing a game due to getting injured is amazing but people never mention his streak broke because he got benched… but the HOF once again is not a participation award because you never missed a game. The League unfortunately will probably let him in only for the soul fact he has two Super Bowl MVPs and will ignore every other season he has played in the league where he was no more than “really good” at best.
Eli also had no off the field issues whatsoever. He was great with the fans, he was a great teammate, the media all liked him because he was so polite and respectful. He’s going to get in. It’s not even going to be close.
Thank you Mr. Eisen. I stated my reasons for Eli Manning going to the Hall Of Fame, and your video reinforcements my case. Many responses say he is going in because of his name or because of the great defense. I admitted that his play wasn't pretty like Peyton's and there were ups and downs, but he did his job! I also stated I didn't think he was a first ballot HOFer, but he deserves a place in Canton!
Giants defensively were never that elite, good but not great at best, plus he is top 10 many categories, If people believe Romo should be in, then Eli is 1st ballot
Look at all you experts in these comments lol. Suddenly being in the top ten in yards, TDs, starts, completions isn't enough? His two rings, super bowl MVP, loyalty to one franchise, Walter Payton man of the year, never being in trouble at any point in his career, did things the RIGHT way. A pillar in his community with his charitable efforts. A true professional. Stats aren't the only thing that get you in the hall of fame, what you do off the field matters just as much. Is he a first ballot? Maybe, maybe not. Is he a HoFer? Absolutely.
Patrick Barnard watch the video of patmcafee about Eli Manning and talk again about him lowering the bar and being the worst HOFer. What a clown u are...lmao
I think Eli is worthy of the Hall of Fame as well. He finished a .500 win Qb, but that's because the franchise made some really bad decisions after letting Coach Coughlin go. Eli beat the GOAT Tom Brady in the Superbowl twice. That right there is impressive.
@ryancalhoun2910 what it's very relevant actually he's surrounded by all time great eil manning will make the hall of fame a lot of has to do with it being hid last name is manning.
@ryancalhoun2910 plus too it's basically confirmed because no team is gonna retire number 10 if he anit worthy think about it. I'm not even a eil manning fan tbh
Just remember: the Giants' defense held Tom Brady to 14 and 17 points in those games. Led by Justin Tuck's four sacks in those two games. And no Giants fan is making a case for Tuck to make the Hall of Fame.
I think beating the GOAT twice, especially their undefeated season, makes him a HOF. Perhaps if he hadn't beaten the Patriots then there'd be a question. Or, if he want wasn't the most valuable player but that cinches it.
Only problem with your argument is that the Giants beat Brady twice. They held the '07 offense that was ranked #1 all time to 14 points, actually held them to 7 points for 3 and a half quarters. That has nothing to do with Eli. They gave Eli plenty chances to win. Then did it again in '11 holding Pats to only 17 points. So when you look at the facts that doesn't get Eli in the HOF. He has a .500 regular season record, only 4 pro bowls in 16 years, ZERO all pros, lost his starting position twice, is actually retiring bcuz he doesn't want to play as a backup again, I mean come on. Good player, true professional but a HOF player? No
@@douglassgarvey653 I see your point but that comes with the position. As QB you get all the credit and all the blame. But, where Eli ranks on all time passing records---he's in the top 10 so many times. Not to mention, he won those Superbowls with some great heroics in the closing minutes. It's funny how Eli has always been so hated in the Northeast, and by the sports media. When I lived in CA Eli was just Eli. The Iron man record counts too. And that was an illegitimate benching for Geno--give me a break.
@@taoman85 all time qb stats are so irrelevant nowadays imo cuz the era Eli and his generation played in. Rivers is also in the same top 10 lists 🤷🏽♂️. I mean the greats they have passed on these lists were in the rushing era under rules that didn't favor their position. He made big plays in the Superbowl yes but they're only heroic moments bcuz the defense unbelievable performance shutting down a QB that was considered unbeatable in the big game. I'm not saying he's trash, he's a good QB but HOF worthy I say no. But will he get in I'm sure he will. HOF voters put in who they want and not necessarily who deserve it.
@@douglassgarvey653 Yeah, there are pros that feel the way you feel. I think the durability, for even how you feel which seems solely about some numbers, puts him over the top. They didn't have a RB to go too.
Another interesting stat is that Eli has 5 post-season game-winning drives. 4 of them were 4th-quarter comebacks. Brett Favre, who's had many more playoff appearances AND wins actually only has two even. Two game-winning drives and both were 4th-quarter comebacks. I think that's pretty good. Also all of the years up until the very end has been pretty impressive. In the 2011 NFC Championship, he got hit 28 times and sacked 9 times, got physically man-handled, and still managed to get a win on the road against yet another team with a better regular-season record. I think that a Hall Of Fame QB represents what an upcoming QB should aspire to be and look up to. Eli is that QB. Never missed a start, played through some injuries, and just kept doing what he needed to do to win important games. A very classy and tough QB. The story of Eli Manning is a great story. The HoF is about amazing stories in NFL history and very important things to happen in the game's history. You can't tell the story of the 2000s-2010s NFL without Eli Manning. The place this Book Of Eli should be told is in Canton Ohio. It's more than worthy in my opinion.
If Eli Manning gets in the Hall of Fame Julian Edelman should go into the HOF super bowl MVP you couldn't talk about the Patriots in the 2010's without Julian Edelman making great catches after great catches in the playoffs
@@Dennis-nm1jm to me, Edelman definitely has an underrated case for the HoF. Everybody talks about his lackluster career receiving totals, but overlook the fact that he has also been a full-time special teams starter and arguably the most important special teamer on one of the best special teams units in the league for a big chunk of his career. I think when you factor in both his effectiveness on special teams and his postseason receiving records, his resume definitely punches up. Of course people won't wanna look at postseason stats because his teams were always great enough to be in the playoffs every year regardless, but they should still be taken seriously, just like it is with every great HoF player. A lot of QBs probably wouldn't have made it in if they didn't have their level of success in the playoffs, so it's weird to brush off Edelman's. Not only did Edelman put up numbers in the playoffs, but he consistently proved to be one of Brady's most valuable weapons, if not THE most valuable, and in especially big moments when he was needed. That's definitely worth something imo. Then again, I don't take the HoF as seriously as some. I think the HoF should be great players and awesome stories, and not necessarily only about elite stats.
Nice to see most of the media, not all but most admitting he is a HOF player. To try and argue he does not belong with top 10 stats, and 2 rings, with 2 SB MVP awards is insane. He's in..

Of course Eli Manning is worthy of entering the HoF. His last four years with the Giants were quite poor, but in those two playoff runs he excelled as a QB.
@@ryancalhoun2910 Eli Manning does not need the HOF. He won two rings against Tom Brady and Bill Belichick and the Patriots. Nobody would trade that for inclusion in the HOF, but if you get inducted, no reason to complain. And if you don't get inducted, so what?
Everyone remembers the Tyree catch. Football gods working on all cylinders. Manning to Manningham in the 2012 Super Bowl. Was a a fucking dart. If it was a touchdown pass best pass in the history of the Supe era

Manning was below average for his era in quarterback rating, completion percentage, yards per attempt and way below average in interceptions per game. In the most comprehensive analysis ever done for quarterback's careers, The REAL GOAT scoring system his career is only 5% above an average quarterback of any era since 1950.
I think the HOF is similar to how the MVP is awarded in basketball. LeBron has been the best, most valuable player in the NBA for the past 10 years, despite only winning the MVP once. Why is this the case? Because the MVP awards TELL THE STORY of the NBA. NOT just who is best. .....This same goes for the NFL HOF. You can get in via different routes: being the best, or by telling an epic story.
The Giants have not had an offensive lineman make the Pro Bowl since 2013. Crappy offensive lines that lead to crappy running games had a lot to do with Eli not having good seasons late in his career.
The Giants have barely have any players on the teams drafted in 2012, 2103 or 14 I think. When they needed to rebuild after that last SB, they needed a complete gut, offense, defense etc..They screwed the pooch. They are still trying to recoup from those piss poor draft years. Eli was inconsequential, he just got old while they botched building the rest of the team.
No. His body of work fits the definition of “catch as catch can.” Used in a sentence - he lived a a catch-as-catch-can life, as an itinerant handyman. “In some sense, then, this phrase describes something that is done in an unplanned way. Something that is catch as catch can will not be organized or strategized. Instead, it will be done so that people will take advantage of whatever opportunity come their way.”
Over the course of Eli's career, there is not a single WR who left the Giants and went on to have a better season with another team. Toomer, Plaxico, Nicks, Manningham, Steve Smith, Victor Cruz, Odell, Hixon, Tyree...none. Many of these players left the Giants and couldn't even get a starting job on another team.
Philip Lam Amani Toomer was better with Kerry Collins. Toomer didn't go anywhere after the Giants. He retired. Plaxico spent two years in prison. Nicks was finished after the 2012 season, due to injuries. He came back to the Giants after he failed with the Colts and couldn't do anything with Eli. Jeremy Shockey was great with Kerry Collins and did pretty well with Drew Brees. Visanthe Shiancoe was better in Minnesota than he was with Eli in New Jersey.
@@Jamescenter95 Regardless of the specifics of the reasons, it's still telling that none of Eli's WRs were able to have even half-way decent seasons after leaving the Giants...but yet Eli was able to be successful with them. Even more telling that many of these guys had fairly short careers (5-6 years). FYI - Toomer signed with the Chiefs after leaving the Giants but was cut in training camp. As far as TEs go, yes Shockey and Shiancoe went on to have better seasons with other teams (tho Shiancoe going from back-up to starter was the bigger reason...it's not like he had anything other than mediocre seasons in MN). But also consider that the Giants had a new starting TE almost every year after Boss (Ballard, Bennett, Myers, Donnell, Tye, Engram, etc), there was no consistency at that position.
@@Jamescenter95 Also, I'll say this about Toomer...he had better numbers with Collins, which makes sense because he was the #1 for Collins. But he also had a terrible habit of disappearing late in games and in big moments. With Eli, Toomer became Mr. Reliable...not necessarily saying that was because of Eli, it was more his getting more experience and better coaching...but Toomer made bigger plays with Eli.
@@philiplam2084 Tom Coughlin deserves more credit for the clutch moments than anyone else. He had his team more prepared for the two-minute drills than most coaches have their players practice. Eli's late-game heroics decreased substantially without Coughlin. It's Coughlin who Giants fans should be fighting for to get into the Hall of Fame. Also, everyone knew Victor Cruz was finished before he left the Giants. He suffered season-ending injuries in 2010, 2014, and 2015. He did very little for the Giants in 2016 before he was released.
@@philiplam2084 I don't think you can expect wide receivers who are considered finished to be more successful after they leave. Plaxico's case is particularly irrelevant because he came back to the NFL in 2011 after spending two years in prison. Toomer was 35 years old. He was finished.
Trivia question: Name the only QBs who are in the Top 10 in every major passing category and have won two Super Bowls. Answer: Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Ben Roethlisberger and Eli Manning How many have also won 2 Super Bowl MVPs?: Only Tom Brady and Eli Manning.
But look how many times Eli led the league in picks, and look at his career passer rating. And record as a starter. And the fact that he got ZERO MVP votes in his career. ZERO! Not a Hall of Famer.
Yup. But the positives outweigh the negatives. There are plenty of QBs with mediocre passer ratings and win-loss record in the HOF. It's really the uniqueness of his resume that stands out. He'll get in.

He put the ball where only his guy could get it and suddenly it's a terrible throw? Besides one throw isn't going to put you in the hall or take you out of it. Is he a HoFer? Absolutely...
@@markarren7480 You do realize that he was drafted in 2004 so that argument is irrelevant. We aren't comparing eras or if he was a top 5 QB in a season. We are looking at what he did on the field and off it. Why does him being considered for the HoF matter so much to you? He's a HoFer. No question.
Would a true HOFer have this much contention? Should a QB get inducted every 2-3 years, or should only the elite get in? Yes, the Giant D beat Brady, and he beat the Pats D, but what else?
Dennis I agree that the Hall Of Fame should be for the elite. The best of the best., but it is not. The criteria for selection to the Hall Of Fame is wide. Many players have short eras of brilliance and that gets them. He was great when it counted most with 2 MVPs beating the favorite to win the Super Bowl twice. That's why he's going in.
The Hall of Fame isn't just about stats though. It never was. It's about what you manage to accomplish and the fame you get as a result of them. Eli's two Super bowl runs are historic, unique, and unprecedented. Stats, to me, should just be a supporting argument for hall of fame credentials. Not the main argument.
There's a whole list of what else. Did you watch the video ? Eli. No question. Philip had some really good teams and couldn’t sniff the Super Bowl. Eli beat the team in the Super Bowl no one could even stay close too.
I will sit here and argue with anyone that thinks Rivers should be in over Eli.....and honestly Ben too. Anyone that thinks Rivers is HOf and Eli isn't has no argument
Didn't have a losing season until 2013. Giants failure to rebuild since that last SB was a big issue. They still haven't gotten it right, Going on 7 years now.
I am biased as a lifelong Giants fan, but this isn’t even a discussion. Eli is a slam dunk first-ballot Hall Of Famer. Here’s why: At his best, he was elite. At his worst, he was average. -FOR 16 SEASONS- The stats are HOF caliber, the off-field stuff is HOF caliber, but forget all of that... Name 1 team besides the Patriots that wouldn’t go back and trade their own QB/team results for Eli/NYG’s during his career. EVERY TEAM IN THE NFL BESIDES THE PATRIOTS WOULD.
Benjamin Moores Eli never had HOF stats His stats are horrible especially in this era of QBs. He led the NFL in INTS 3 times and never had a MVP vote never was top 5 at QB and went to the playoffs one time in his last 8 years , If his last name was Smith we would not even be talking about him now
Why are his starts and attempts even mentioned? He's supposed to show up to work, and he was a pocket passer with a long career, he's going to have a lot of attempts, a lot of which were interceptions. When the hell did " You can't tell the story of the NFL without him" become a qualification for the HOF, you can't tell the story of the NFL without Ray Rice or Aaron Hernandez but I'm sure they won't be going to the HOF. From 2004 - 2019, he was never in discussion for the best QBs in the league. No All-Pro selections. No NFL Season MVP's. No one can look at his career and say, "Yes sir, Eli Manning is one of the Greatest Quarterbacks to ever play the game." He showed up for two postseason runs, yes. It's not the Hall of Two Very Good Postseason Runs. He has an incredible ironman streak, yes. You can have perfect attendance and be a C student.
It’s hard to take seriously when people say “he’s such a class act”, when he told an NFL franchise “I won’t play for you.” That’s the opposite of class. Not a HOFer.
Not even a winning record as a starter. Only 4 pro bowl. Never won an mvp. Did he make the giants better? 500 record after 16 seasons on one team is a hof qb, bullshit. One lucky throw is not a hall of fame Qb. He’s not. If he is then Flaco is more deserving. Flaco has a better record as a starter, has a ring. Better td to int. Didn’t hurt his team as much. Manning is “pretty good” but not close to hof. If Eli is in then the bar is lowered and about 10 other guys must get in . No way he gets in. If you have to even consider “ is he worthy” then they aren’t. This shouldn’t even be a discussion.
Eli Crybabied his way to NY and made one lucky throw, led the league in INT three times and it was Strahan and His squad that slayed the Patriots. The sad truth is that he will be in the HoF simply because his name is "Manning"

Ian Jones they were in a different era. I never said I thought everyone belonged in the first place. Even then, this era requires a new standard.
Never lead the league in anything, and was pretty horrible for his whole career outside of two playoff runs. He is not a Hall of Famer.
@@ryancalhoun2910THANK YOU
Eli also had no off the field issues whatsoever.

I think Eli is worthy of the Hall of Fame as well. He finished a .500 win Qb, but that's because the franchise made some really bad decisions after letting Coach Coughlin go. Eli beat the GOAT Tom Brady in the Superbowl twice. That right there is impressive.
Impressive? Yes. HOF worthy? No

@@taoman85 Actually they did have a rush game to go to. Jacobs 1000+ in 07 then a balanced rush game in '11 with Jacobs and Bradshaw.
He's in..

Story is a big part of it for the NFL. Eli may not be a HOF QB but he definitely had a HOF career. No if ands or buts about it.
Eli and the Giants ruined the Pats perfect season. Never hurt during his whole career. Richest NFL player when he hung up his cleats. Nuff said.

No. Period. He didn't suck. And he had great defenses. Kind of like Peyton in his last Super Bowl.
Compare Elis' SB numbers to Peytons last. Big difference.
@Ian Jones And he has a lifetime .500 winning percentage. Wow....that's hall of famer material His defense won him his to superbowls and he got two lucky passes. He is mediocre at best.
Rich has a high opinion of a QB because he went to the booth after the game ?
Give me a break !
Defense won the SBs, not Eli
What guy on defense threw the game winning touchdowns ?
@@DoggieNYC a lucky helmet catch ?!? defense held pats under 20. learn football, Eli is a joke
Ben rapelisberger is less of HOFer than eli. 9/21 his 1st super bowl win and lost against Rodgers in his 3rd appearance. 2 rings 0 sb mvps
Hall of average with a SB win or two. Nice guy who got hot at the right time. HOF? No. The hall needs standards. He wasn't even a top 5 QB at any point in his career. If his name wasn't Manning we aren't having this conversation.
Sorry but in what world does a 4x Pro Bowler, 2x time champ, 2x SB MVP, Top 10 QB in every major category NOT belong in the Hall of Fame lol?!? Oh, he's also the greatest offensive player in the history of the Giants and owns every record there. Never not played a game due to injury. Sorry bro, if that ain't a HOFer then noone is.
@@jakethethird1584 He isn't even close to the best QB in his family, let alone HOF worthy.
@@Noxi8890 First of all, he was better than Archie so stop it lol. And he was WAY better in the playoffs than Peyton. So you have no point.
@@jakethethird1584 There is no capacity that Eli is better than PFM. One is in the conversation for being the GOAT, the other is Joe Flacco with a second ring.
@@Noxi8890 Sorry but that is factually false. Don't really care how you feel about it lol. And I find it funny people just tack on another ring like it's just another game lol. I'm done.
If he last name was not manning would he in the H.O.F
Yes he would.
YES.
rodney harrison a box safety....
The only Hall of fame award that he's gonna get is the one from Hall Throat Drops. 😲🤣😏
Edgerrin James made it , whoever know's football of Course Eli Had a Better Career then James , IT'S OVER ELI GOING HALL OF FAME
James was a running back not a QB so how could his numbers be better
hell no he's not a hall of fame player! the only reason people are saying he's a hall of famer is cuz of his last name! a .500 qb who was never an elite qb
eli owns brady lol you bum, also worst qb ever is in the hof already namath, eli also owns the packers lol
eli is like jerome bettis, the numbers are there, has a super bowl ring. hall of famer. but the eye test says not a hall of famer
He will get in like another undeserving NY QB, Namath
With all the undeserving HOF
New York has the least
If he goes 1'st it's on character not performance. 2n'd or 3r'd ballot yeah. Moss and Owens are 2 and three rounders and this dude isn't? Sanders called it h.o.f. is soft so they can put on a show by putting in more ppl.
Moss and Owens never won anything.
Eli has better career numbers than Elway and Montana
Last time I checked Joe Montana had four super bowl rings and 3 MVP he didn't have better numbers in the playoffs
@Dennis-nm1jm I never said eli was better than Montana.i just said he has better career numbers across the board for passing. I am just validating the point that eli is a HOF'er. Eli won 2 superbowls and won both superbowl mvps. Montana was definitely better. Eli is a hall of famer
Eli is one of only five players in NFL history to win two Superbowl MVP awards.
The Giants let Eli down, not vice versa...He should be in the hall, first ballot. I hear all the other butt munches say no, BS. Hey, he beat Brady twice.
Super bowl 46 he beat a 31st ranked defense Rob gronkowski was hurt in super bowl 46 he was a non factor
Nah. Dion Sanders and shannan sharp are right. Eli ain't no hall of famer
95% of the time on the "Voice of REason" he takes the wrong side....
eli owns brady lol you bum, also worst qb ever is in the hof already namath
@@cortezmauricio702 Say no to drugs.
I feel like we were all rob of a Peyton vs Eli Superbowl. Plus if Eli get in you have to put in Jake Plummer from the Raiders
Plummer has no rings. Other than rings under his eyes after a few nights out.
If Eli Manning gets in the Hall of Fame Jim plunkett should go into the HOF two super bowl rings 1 MVP
If you let Eli in, the standard is lowered, it’s not up to any of us to decide if they want that but it’s a fact. He does not have the stats to get into the Hall by himself. If you start making excuses like “well the organization didn’t give him what he needed” you’re making my point. If they want him in based off of his 2 playoff runs, that’s up to the voters. He never had a passer rating over 100. If you think he should be in good luck arguing against average QBs in the future
Ian Jones the hall of fame honors entire careers not moments. Go look up his actual stats. His TD-INT ratio. His 60% completion percentage. His W-L record. His QB rating. By any metric, he doesn’t compare to the top-10 QBs in the last 20 years, let alone the Hall of Fame. Take your emotions out of it and be honest with yourself
Ian Jones they were in a different era. I never said I thought everyone belonged in the first place. Even then, this era requires a new standard. If you play in enough games as a QB, you’ll have more yards, it’s extremely basic math. Even if you disagree, I’m not “dead wrong” lmao. I’m giving you facts. By today’s standard, he’ll get in. I don’t think he should based off of all around play. COMPLETION PERCENTAGE matters, WIN TOTALS matter, TD-INT RATIO matter. Advanced statistics are FACTS. This argument is nonsense. I’m coming with facts and you’re coming with subjective based comparisons. Just agree to disagree and we’ll move on. He’ll get in, you’ll be happy, and a random person disagrees on the internet. I don’t have a hall of fame vote, so you can rest easy
lowering the standard to be in the HoF any Quarterback that plays for a decade is now a HoFer
Philip Rivers aint getting into the hall of fame
@@johnnyfootball870 he should. Has much better stats. Eli was never elite. Not for a single season.
I will have no respect for the HOF if he gets in. I still don't know how the hell Joe Nameth is in and please don't say he won the two super bowls BS it was the defense both times.
Odd I don't recall the defense getting MVP in those games.
Kurt Warner, Troy Aikman, Terry Bradshaw. All in HOF apparently better yea? Well guess what..he has better stats than them..lmao so how is he not in Hof
hes two passes away from being profoundly mediocre
From start to finish, this is a case for him being in the Hall of Very Good.
I dont know why people asume its called "hall of stats". Its hall of FAME. He is one of the most iconic players of all time, isnt he?
Exactly. It's the Hall of FAME. Not the Hall of Talent. Can the story of the NFL be told without you? If the answer is no, you're probably in.
he's a first ballot. people forgot there was a time between 2006-2011 some were calling him the best QB in the league
Who was?
@@Reggie1408 eli
@@coburgerj1993 Who was calling Eli "the best QB in the league"?
@@Reggie1408 there were like a handful of analyst on espn back then on that train. Im not saying i thought it but after the 1st super bowl there were people making the argument. Nobody remembers
@@coburgerj1993 Again...What are their names???
Seems like not even you remember. Probably because you just made it up.
Agree 100%. Far to much on the resume to not be a HALL OF FAMER. The pluses out weigh the minuses by far.
There are no pluses
If Eli Manning not have two great defenses helping him win a Superbowl this wouldn't even be a conversation. To suggest that a guy who has almost as many turnovers if he does touchdowns in a below 500 winning record over a 16-year career is not a Hall of Fame quarterback
I feel that Archie didn’t want his sons to face each other in the regular season and maybe play each other in the Super Bowl
Turned you off when saying McAdoo sat him. Eli sat himself and caused the distraction.
Nepotism at its finest.
Up you're standards. He's not even close to Brady, Rodgers, Wilson, Brees. That's what I call HOF'ers!
And yet he has more rings than all of them lol. Shutup.
@@jakethethird1584 Brady has more! Rings don't make you a HOF'er. Some backup QB's has more rings. Doesn't mean sh*t. Ballers is what we remember.
@@Richard-et8eu Sorry but rings with 2 Super Bowl MVP's, all time team and position stats do make you a HOFer. Sorry lol.
@Ian Jones my man, you get it!
@@Richard-et8eu Obviously Brady has more rings, I was referring to the other 3.
He beat Brady twice. That is all. If he'd beaten Romo twice, this wouldn't be a convo. He doesn't belong in the Hall and if you put him in, the Hall loses a lot of meaning.
eli owns brady lol you bum, also worst qb ever is in the hof already namath, not to mention eli owns lambaue field beat farve and overrated rodgers
Eli and Peyton are considered one person. Might a well include Arch.
Eli is 1000% a Hall of Famer. And I'm a Kurt Warner-loving Rams fan, and Eli replaced my DUDE. Eli is still HoF.
Rams 2020 !! The 1st Ram QB I remember is J.Namath, how does Eli compare to him & his Stats ? K.Warner also threw away 2 Super Bowls
@@SD-vw2rd Technically, Kurt threw game-winning touchdowns in every Super Bowl he was in. (Alas, the defense didn't hold in either of those losses.)
