Dan! You forgot to mention the fact that a try-it-for-a-month Patreon would also get access to the P.O.P. show! Get ‘em completely reeled in with the fun! Anyone who is able, being a patron is absolutely worth it. I’ve been a patron since the very beginning. I love doing it!
Absolutely love the castles of England - my ancestors came to the US in the late 1600’s - no royalty or castles but I love seeing where they may have worked or traveled. Thank you so much!!
We are experiencing the same weather here, when its cool, its really cool and then a day of heat, and so on!! Another great episode of English castles and history. Advent calendars already out there! I decided to make my own, its a lot of money to put out and this way I can pick what I want, and package them up! I pick mini bundles I like and go from there! Loved all the knitting content!
Hello Kay and Dan! I have a comment on knitting socks with unspun yarn. I knit a pair of sleep socks with 3 strands of Nutiden. They were heaven to wear, but even just using them to sleep with (I live in San Francisco and our nights are quite chilly with the fog) they stretched out to an insanely misshapen size. In the spirit of adventure, I threw them in a warm laundry load with other clothes. They literally came out as baby booties! After taking a week to dry 😂, I passed them on to friend’s toddler! Thanks so much for your wonderful video shows! ❤️
This month, I pre-ordered my first ever yarn advent from Polka Dot Creek Yarn after you recommended their sports team yarn. Also found some yarn for gift socks for a longtime friend, and of course, another skein for my stash.
I don’t comment that often, nearly ever are more true… don’t know why because I see every single episode here on RUclips. Love you both.…❣️ and I really appreciate ALL the work you put in to this episodes and everything else. Absolutely marvelous…❣️ My goal is to become a Patreon member, full time member, not just short term. Hopefully things will go my way in the fall and I can join then. Regardless … always looking forward to seeing the next episode. Love Titti in Sweden
Queen Kay! Yes! 😉 Dan, thank you for answering a question I’ve been pondering for some time. I did some ancestry research awhile back, sailing right along until I hit the 1550’s. I just figured record keeping was understandably poor until then, but what caused the change? Taxes, of course! And the created use of surnames. Taxes. Should have known. Great show. Thank you both!
Dan the hat is made with love and that’s all that matters Dom will love it. And if he doesn’t that’s okay too. Learning is a process that one gets the knowledge from a source THEN repetitive works and works until he gains success (hopefully without being scoffed over). I’m sure you’ll figure out the jog in future projects 😊
Hello Dan & Kay, I have knit socks with Lettlopi and LOVE them. I sent you my sock project page on Ravelry, Dan's account. I can't even express eloquently how much I am loving your channel here ❤
Our youngest grandgirl graduated will be a sophomore her first year college i know the feeling of last of as a grand mom but i will be helping my last child with empty nest

The colours of that advent scarf are so beautiful and cozy! Watching from Melbourne, Australia while working on a sock test knit.
