Catching up on this as I recover from surgery to remove a kidney tumour. Your soft lilting voice was just what I needed as I drift in and out of pain relief 🤗 Thank you, Katie. I’m glad your finger is as healed as it can be 🤗

What a lovely episode today Katie! I think we may neglect thanking your partner for the glorious filming out on your walks - so please thank them! The bathing suit fabric just couldn’t be more perfect for you, what a stunning design. Also loving the hat which is going to be gorgeous. Thank you.

Hi Katie, I love your episode today. The filming of the rainbow at the end was fantastic! Your choice of colours for your hat work very well and it looks great. I’m knitting a fairisle jacket and have managed to learn how to knit holding yarn in both hands. Also I can now weave the floats in on every 2nd stitch. I’ve found that to be much better with the tension and it looks so neat on the back. There’s very little curling up. At the grand age of 67 and many of those years knitting the old way, I never thought it possible to change, but I persevered and now it’s easy! Your bathing costume fabric is very you. How clever of you to find that fabric design. 😊 thank you for sharing. ❤

The gradient you are doing on the hat is so lovely and interesting because I thought people did that by using a special yarn but I like how you do it, you have more control over where the colors change and how much etc. thank you for sharing that with us!

Your hat and swimming suit are just perfect. Never thought to use a men’s pattern but that’s brilliant as the coverage and fit are much more appropriate for actual swimming. Delighted to see you at WW (me=gushy fan girl) and happy to hear your finger is on the mend 💚

What stunning footage of you hiking with Jack Katie!! That rainbow with the looked like snow at the end was just so pretty. I find watching you create on the scratchboard so relaxing and mesmerizing.
I am glad you hear your finger has done so well! Take heart...we have a friend who is a blacksmith. He bashed some fingers during some hammering and was told his nerves would never grow back. After 7 years, the feeling returned. Just give it time.
    Happy creating 🧶🧵

Bravo for everything you’ve been applying yourself to! Hurray for the cats’ parents, I cannot wait to see those gorgeous creations in your shop! But I admit being mesmerised at your tip on colour work and tension and shall definitely have a go at it this month as I am wishing to knit some radish mittens! Yesterday evening, I watched the latest episode from the Grocery Girls talking about their recent trip in Ireland and they gave you a big shout out, discovering your talents as an illustration artist! I thought you might like to watch it. Have a lovely spring in Wales !

Great episode! I was very happy to see your kitties with yarn art as I'm partial to kitties and I look forward to buying the tape you make from it. I have a friend you loves washi tape but perhaps this is too complicated to to turn into washi tape. The hat is gorgeous and I was very interested in how you adapted the pattern to incorporate the yarn you wanted to use and the way you want to knit (brim last but still a bottom up hat). Brilliant. As I experiment more with knitting garments, I am looking for ways to use the pattern in a more loose way so that I can create my own gauge. I'm just beginning this journey and the math is pretty intimidating to me. I want to say how much I admire you for challenging yourself to go back to sewing. I absolutely know how hard it is to do something like that after a trauma. And finally, that rainbow! A perfect place to end your podcast.

Hi! Anyone looking for a bathingsuit pattern for women with legs - there was recently a pattern for a Tennis Skirt released on Mood Fabrics. It‘s a free pattern, and I think if you leave the skirt away it might work as a bathing suit for women. I‘ve been planning to do one of these for ages. Also: the cats! Yay! How beautiful.
