I am sure I am not alone in appreciating the fact that you do not have ads, but more important, you do not let people use you to sell their product. Your videos are so much more pleasant to watch without all of the interruptions. THANK YOU so much!
Kay, I adore your socks and yarns! The history lesson is very much appreciated. As an American whose BA degree is History, I must say I know very little about The Tudors and other British history. Very interesting. The music and scenery are outstanding! Thank you.
I've always admired your no-ad stance - it's one of the reasons I've continued watching your videos (the excellent content being the first, of course 😜). Some RUclips videos have ads every 5 minutes and there comes a point when I just stop watching. ❤
Hi guys…❣️ Titti from Sweden here. Just want to say this about DPN’s or rather comments about DPN’s verses magic loop… I really don’t understand why people need to question why… anything…?? DPN’s according to me is the best❣️, and when it comes to my oldest daughter she’s totally in to magic loop. There’s no right or wrong way to do which needles to use … just what’s best for the user. My problem is rather the person that question my decision. For me that is lack of respect actually. Big THANKS for all your work with this channel Love it ❤
Great show as always...and this is why I support Kay and Dan as a Patreon. Top tier videos and the reason we will be visiting York this year...thank you for the quality content...cheers!!!
I'm not sure if your brother does all the music for this series or how you get the music, but I absolutely adore it. As a musician myself, I highly appreciate the beautiful music and how it brings it all to life and pulls it together.
you two are so funny i just love listening to you both i don't knit but i love looking at the things you create but most of all i love the castle stories Dan you so the best job of teaching me at least England and i just love it keep up the great work and i can't wait for the next time thank you once again
Dan thank you so much for the history narrative of Henry VIII and your walk through Yorkshire, very interesting, I have read a lot about the Plantagenet, Richard the Lionheart, The War of the Roses, Henry VII and Henry VIII, but always learn something new on listening to Historians.
Hello Kay, I want to thank you for mentioning the books you have enjoyed. Because of you, I am now a great fan of Roseamunde Pilcher. I lived Winter Solstice and Coming Home. I really like that you have mentioned books you are reading/listening. Enjoy your day, Kim
I just love listening to both of you. Kay, your patterns are beautiful and Dan, your history lessons are captivating. I am in the US and was fascinated by the story of Henry VIII.
Hello from the deep woods and lakes of the northern USA. The castle nation is a quite intriguing series. So much to ponder. You do such an excellent job of describing the sad life of King H with a realistic view. I appreciate your stance on honesty and integrity. Love those very beautiful socks too! Thank you so very much.
Kay I have to tell you I bought the book One for the Blackbird, One for the Crow and I couldn’t put it down! Thank you for the great review! I live in Montana and much of it is still like what the book describes about Wyoming. Rugged and vast. Keep suggesting them.
Dan, Mark and I throughly enjoyed the last two episodes of your current series, we visited Helmsley Castle several years ago, but your perspective and research gave us a new appreciation of what we saw and the history that occurred in that area. Thank you! Kay, we were in Durham and York over Easter so I was delayed watching your book episode. It was enlightening, we live in Wyoming and I’m picking up the audio for the book tomorrow. Can’t wait to delve into that story.
Thanks Kay and Dan, great episode as always. Love the History lesson and looking forward to Kay's recipe...Tode in the hole? Just started making this here in Atlantic Canada...LOVE IT!.....Yorkshire pudding?...can't wait whatever it is!🥰🇨🇦Sharon.
Thank you for another fabulous episode Dan and Kay. After listening to your book review of One For The Blackbird One For The Crow, I spent one of my audible credits and am loving it Kay!!🙂. I rarely listen to fiction, but this is such a special book. Reminds me a little of To Kill a Mockingbird. I can't wait to visit all the places you have had us exploring with you over the years Dan. My holiday to the UK planning has plenty of 'want to go' tags in G Maps. Oh and of course I love all the knitting . 😉 Gwen - FNQ Aus.
It’s so hard to use or get a good black dye. I tried recently and the black looked good in the pot but ended up purple when dried ha ha. Love the green and black for Briony’s sock.
Oh my goodness! The witchy socks! Love them! Last year I completed a pair of your Swirly Woo socks in that same lime green like yours and a dark purple and I couldn’t help but calling them my “Witchy Woo” socks 😂
I must say I have unsubscribed to more than 1 podcast because they have become too comercial. I love your podcast and have recommended it more than once to mt craft group.
Hi, just come across your programme, I'm from Cornwall and I've always loved my history. Well I just love your channel, it's so interesting and I also knit and am presently trying to teach myself how to crochet, especially Tunisian crochet. I've enjoyed your channel so much that I have subscribed and can't wait for your next one, thank you both so much, keep up the good works!

The “black” yarn looks to be a gorgeous deep dark purple on my screen and that vibrant green is stunning with it! Perfect, witchy combination ❤
Kay, I adore your socks and yarns! The history lesson is very much appreciated. As an American whose BA degree is History, I must say I know very little about The Tudors and other British history. Very interesting. The music and scenery are outstanding! Thank you.
Thank you so much Valarie. Best wishes to you

Your honesty is one of many attributes I love about you both 😊
Tudor Nation is outstanding. The two of you have such talent. Well done.
Love the witchy socks. Your colors look amazing! (only because you were wondering...in the movie, it was black and white stripe, with the red shoes.)
The Bakery Bears is a brilliant quality show. My Patreon donation is very well spent!❤❤❤thank you Kay and Dan!
Wow, enjoyed once again the rich history of England! It is presented so well, Dan.! Love all the gorgeous socks, Kay!

Living in a castle region near Heidelberg, Germany. I pop in once in a while, and never know, why I left without subscribing. This will be remedied.

Henry VIII was renowned for having parties, of the Tudor era, and dressing up, masked balls etc.
Your pink Prairie socks make me think of Sandy in Grease in her black and white saddle shoes and singing with John Travolta :) 💖🤍🖤
KAY! DHARMA true black is wonderful! They also have toner black and it turns out to be a gray black. But their true black is sooooooooo black!
The springiness of the yarn has to do with the crimp or curl in the sheep fiber in combination with how it's spun
Tutor times, glass was invented for windows.
Sorry I fast forward to a castle nation it’s just brilliant
I wonder if your Choc-Ice ( spelling?) in the UK is the same as our Klondike Bars in the US.
