- Cops spot a suspicious man jaywalking and after asking him to stop he runs away. After a police chase with the suspect, officers tackle him to the ground and find a bag full of drugs. Elsewhere, officers track down suspects involved in an armed robbery. At a shopping mall, cops catch a shoplifter red handed. The suspect gets lectured by his disappointed mother.
Real-life officers are followed by a camera crew, cinéma-vérité style, in a gritty up-close look at police work and the consequences of crime. It spawned a number of police-reality imitators.

Being an Autism parent and also a Aba Therapist who works with children with disabilities I understand that the mom keeps an eye on him, but for this child to get that far away from home and she didn’t even notice, until the police came that’s a huge red flag!!!
It has happened. My son has autism and use to bolt on me all the time and I bought a joint wrist strap after that. Unfortunately some autism parents are still learning and/or don’t have the resources. Not trying to argue as I do agree with you
Two of my kids are special needs, they've never tried to run away. I'm convinced his home life sucks. Poor kid. Having a speciaal needs kid does not absolve you from teaching your kids things or treat them with respect.

Totally agree. Something isn't right at home. I've worked with children and adults with multiple additional needs for near 20 years and specialise in autism and due diagnosis. While he is on the spectrum he didn't present as high support and was well aware of his actions. He seemed genuinely upset about his home living situation to the point he felt he needed to escape.
Sorry, but that last part, if granny really cared about the kids, she'd let the mom take at least some clothing and a few fav. toys. Children should not be used as pawns and not be made to suffer without a change of clothing because granny has a beef with the mother.

That cop saw his leg was crossed but he dug his knee into the back of his leg with all his weight. Then when the cop gets up he uses all his weight to bounce off his leg to get up. lol…it’s funny how cops do anything they can when it’s possible to go unnoticed to cause any kind of discomfort.
