- Cops spot suspicious activity going down and as they approach, the suspicious vehicle drives off. What ensues is a slow-paced police chase. Elsewhere, officers respond to a knife call and find a man in a dispute with his neighbours. Meanwhile, cops tackle an aggressive suspect to the ground after claims he hit his mother.
Real-life officers are followed by a camera crew, cinéma-vérité style, in a gritty up-close look at police work and the consequences of crime. It spawned a number of police-reality imitators.
