- Officers question a suspicious pair stood beside their packed car. The cops are concerned their car contains contraband and after a quick sweep they find the female passenger in possession of drugs. The loved-up couple don't seem be sticking up for each other. Elsewhere, a cop stops a man for jaywalking but the interaction soon turns violent as the officer beats the suspect down to the ground.
Real-life officers are followed by a camera crew, cinéma-vérité style, in a gritty up-close look at police work and the consequences of crime. It spawned a number of police-reality imitators.

He didn't violate his 4th Amendment rights. The officer has a right to pat down. Upon administering the pat down he felt the pipe. No 4th violation. Research the law.

@fullthrottletreeservice4101 when doing a pat down on someone if you feel something you know is illegal you have the right to search. A frisk and a search are 2 different things. He did not violate his rights, He felt the pipe in his pocket.

@Jblaze024 yeah of course they do, but you're also not accounting for the fact that if your artery is cut off you can lose consciousness in less than 5 seconds. If it's me or them going home that night I know who I'm picking. Don't put cops in head locks and you won't get shot, it's a pretty simple construct

That could be a legal issue. The cop is allowed by law to physically detain a suspect. The videographer is not law enforcement. The suspect could theoretically sue the show and even the network if the guy put his hands on him.
