Before you say you live in Thailand you should get an appropriate visa. The Thai authoriteis are trying to stop people like you. I've been living in Thailand 17 years and have to follow every immigration rule. There are no firm immigration laws in Thailand, visas and visa extensions are on the discretion of each immigrant officer, so don't mess with them.
I want to retire in SE Asia from the U.S., but Malaysia has crazy financial investment requirements and Thailand I will have to check in every 90 days for the rest of my life. Plus, this new tax law (regardless of the US/Thai treaty) may not work in my favor. I’ve decided on Cambodia for long term with 29 day stays in the other SE Asian countries. I am not going to live where I am not wanted.
Do they fly you out to your home country of your passport or to the country that you arrived from?
They think the farang have only to pay, but not 1% rights......
Turist visa in thiland not mean thiland is your home
hahah you're not wrong, however this content is quite old at this point. At the time I was working remotely and mostly staying in Thailand when not traveling for work. Unfortunately they didn't have the availability of visas that are now in place for said job. Thanks for engaging and please feel free to enjoy some of our longer travel film content!
Haha. Somehow this just came up in my feed

Lol this guy thought thailand was a democracy or what ???
haha not quite! The video was just about the inconsistency of their visa exception policy!
Well there has been so much how their government system never improves.

You don't understand the rules.
hahah I guess not! At the time I was working remotely and mostly staying in Thailand when not traveling for work. It is too many.
I guess so...?
Reminds me of lead in the ancient Roman aquifers. Had quite an effect on logic. Connect the dots.
😄
Old News...its the migration law
Is it though? There is no said limit on VOA exceptions, I've looked it up...Thanks for watching, engaging and feel free to enjoy more of our content!
Law my ass, there is no single line in any of their codes specifying how many times you can fly in on a visa exemption
Are you a tourist?😊
I was. Thanks for watching, engaging and feel free to enjoy more of our content!
I'm wondering why i have no issues on entering some countries 😂
haha not sure!
Visit a free country.
Yes, there are plenty of other places to visit, yet the Land of Smiles has a lot of attraction for both myself and many others. It's well worth a visit! Thanks and enjoy!

24hrs lucky bugger. I had to do 1 month 😆
Just had to wait for the next flight back to KL, as they denied my entry on arrival visa
@@EastboundandUp Is KL your home country or the country you were coming in from? meaning if im Canadian then travel to Cambodia, and get refused entry back in Thailand I will be sent to cambodia ? or all the way back to canada?
@@passportmarc you'll be sent back to where you flew from...hence why I went to KL
@@EastboundandUp thanks! I think the 1 year cambodia visa and doing the run until im kicked seems like a plan until i figure out a better visa situation
@@passportmarc 😄 perfect!
Man, read the Thai law before you start troll your story. Also you came out with alot some wrong facts... 👎🏼
The facts are real, they happened to me haha, and they is no written laws about how many times you can enter the country with 'visa on arrival', :) thanks for watching and happy holidays!
@@EastboundandUp As a normal person (not Thai wife or passport) you can only entry in to Thailand "Visa on arrival" two times in a year not more. Before, about 2 years ago it was three times in a year. Also you can apply normal 90 days tourist Visa only 2 times in one year. Those are at least facts what you should know tho.
@@simoistrouble9994 Thanks, I'd love to see these facts written down somewhere, as nowhere on the Thai Immigration site does there ever list a limit. thanks
@@simoistrouble9994 Only 2 Times via Land Crossing. Air Travel has NO LIMIT. Its up to the Officer at Passport Control should he question you.
@@StephenMaher-w7q there is been so much corruption in Thailand on how their government never improves. Also there needs to be a clear rule for people to understand otherwise it’s ridiculous if they treat people unfairly without explanation what the proper way for the conditions of the visa.
