One tip for you to consider, move you counterweights right up against the mount head, and add more weight it needed, it is much better for you mount than having them right down the shaft, as the moment arm is shorter, and it takes less inertia to move the mount which is better all round for the motors and the gears, and should guide better….👍🏻
Nice work, I'm also collecting space related Lego sets and preferer my Hubble Space Telescope to be stand alone but i see you have to find the "space" for binos ;)
thanks @Trelemorelebax well worth doing the cable management, it always makes the setup look so much tidier too. yeah i think i might get some storage shelving units to hold some more items, i started investing in lego over 8 years ago now, i have over 400 unopened sets now, but i cant help but make the space ones :)
