I just picked this gun up 2 weeks ago using your link I hope. I painted cars for about 8 years and was a very early adaptor of the gravity feed guns switching over from the siphon cup. The old school guys back then thought the gravity feeds were crazy. After watching my mentor use 1, I purchased it and never looked back. No LVLP back then so I'm looking forward to trying this out. Great videos!

Hey Chris so I picked up the greentec gt211 to spray with this thing, I already sprayed the base and I love this gun! My question is it calls for a 2:1:1 ratio , do I need reducer? I’ve seen everyone spraying high solids with no reducer

    • @GarageNoise

I don't use reducer in my clear. The fc710 I use is high solids and sprays fine with no reducer. Reducer will help it to flow out, but it it flows too much then it runs.

I think I’m going to have to pick up one of these guns. I have a 3m performance but I’m finding my compressor doesn’t have enough volume to make the gun function right. It calls for 13cfms and my compressor can only push like 11.5 at 90psi. It’s a 60 gallon single stage. I will be only spraying epoxy and high build. Are these guns good for high build with the right tip size?

@@GarageNoise It’s kind of a bummer about my 3m gun. I’m kinda new to spraying and restoring a truck in my garage and will have the truck final sprayed in a booth so only doing primer and epoxy at home. Just finding it’s really hard to regulate the pressure at the gun . Would t think a few cfms off would cause such an issue. High flow connectors and 35’ dedicated hose and my pressure on the wall has to be at a 100 psi for me to get 22nd I at gun and that’s maxing out the regulator at the gun which is a 3m regulator as well. Even replaced it and new one reads the same way. People tell me it’s the lack of volume affecting it.🤷🏻‍♂️
