Thanks for the note David! haha, glad you appreciate the complexity of the Together Mode filming! I end up filming using OBS and record all my audio to separate channels (mic, additional mics, system sound). You also need 5 accounts signed in to a meeting to enable Together Mode, so I have lots of test accounts... Makes it a lot easier but still takes lots of rehearsal to ensure everything works smoothly. My video coming out tomorrow morning on NVIDIA Broadcast is probably one of the most complex I've done to capture all the audio and video properly... phew, glad that one is done 😂

Great video, Kevin! This is easily the best collection of the currently available top features in the shortest possible time. ❤ One thing I would add: if there is no transcript in Stream, you may need to go into the video's settings and assign a language to have the transcript appear.

One thing to note with creating your own background images is with PNG files they don't make use of the alpha channel. This means you can't have a transparent background with a logo in the corner for example.

Really enjoying your videos! I’ve found the recording option in Teams to not have a high enough resolution for what I do, so I’ve starting running OBS (thanks to your video tutorial!) in the background to record a higher resolution and to generally have more control over the recording 🤙
It's worth noting that not everyone will have the ability to record a meeting. In our environment, it is disabled by default due to corporate security policies. If a user wants to be able to record meetings, the request has to be addressed by the tenant admins. Once it's "on" for a user, recording is always available for that user (until the admins disable it again).
with all the new features added, there's still no option to look at yourself (not just a tiny box in the corner). It helps to check your own posture and remind yourself how others see you
That's initially the purpose of the pre-meeting Join screen. You can also use the Spotlight function, but that makes your video feed front & center for everyone in the meeting, not just you.
Hi Kevin. I need a video on using MS Teams for running webinars. Webinars are using registrations, email reminders, joining instructions, etc. I wonder if teams can be integrated with other apps to do this.

Regarding the Mute/Unmute Shortcut i have another possibility: Just use the Spacebar once you have muted yourself to unmute again. Works at least on a mac (and only as long as the button is "in focus")

An important feature of "Who can present: Only me" for teachers is also that nobody else will be able to mute YOU.
Students are still presenting even though I have set it to ONLY ME.
